What is green...scaly...breathes flame...and has spikes? Posts: 1,503 Group: Moderator Member #30 Joined: 17 February 2008	The Dark Eclipses Shadow On a day with the clouds that float across the sky people feel anxious and nervous but they do not no why their conscience makes them uneasy and edgy The Heavens Shake and the earth Quakes to find out the sun is blocked… no more light – no more days- ‘ we will surely die!’ as we scream our cries clawing around as if we are dying ‘ Oh please oh Please Move with ease And restore the peace to the land’ But it did not move, People ran screaming for lives, some stood still in amazement others ransacked and attacked without cause panicking over nothing…so the earth sat still for what felt like days so long and awkward. The word spread across the earth in the shadows of the day. The dark side of the moon only faced earth for several minutes... …On that day where people panicked. Shower A subtle creak escapes as I twist the knob on the wall and it turns on, the water falls like the great Niagara and splashes off the ground below. As it splashes mist seeps into the air, and the water rolls towards the drain. The water pushes forward through the pipes and a willowy echoing can be heard. I step inside relieved by the waters warmth and I am relaxed for once. Dirt washes off the water changes colour and the water quickly dilutes it. I am relaxed nice and warm in my cozy…Shower. Rocking horse Its long flowing hair It waves in the wind The gentle breeze much faster As it gallops down the mountain side He races on his mighty steed To save the damsel in distress He is knocked off by the fierce monster ahead And he grasps reality once more His imagination fades away And the soft rolling hills Tenderly revolve away The damsel waves her arms at him But he can no longer hear Her cries for help He climbs off his mighty stallion And runs to supper The mare sits and awaits his rider He wishes to rock back into the veracity Of the illusory realm But the rider never returns The boy ages and so does the horse Both have aged differently The boy gets taller And no longer has use for toys The horse gets worn out From mal-usage Unused for years to come The handles are worn down to thin twigs They splinter and crack The seat is no longer smooth And has warped out of place The nice lacquer finish has began to peel And there it rocks in the corner When he bumps into it walking to his room He looks around thinks twice And jumps on for one more ride Author's Comments This is NaPo#21 on time for today...unlike yesterdays which I did this morning. They both have a similar theme. He gorws out of the Rocking horse and into the rocking chair I guess. I was walking odnw my hall this morning and that's when I thought of it..I saw my old rocking horse so I jumped on for one more fantasy... By: Jonah Mullen Rocking chair It rocks in the corner In his absence Yet he is still near It nudges his body every time it comes forward It pushes his leg down Making a soft click of his shoe against the floor His body throbs A pain in the chest He is on his face And the it is still standing upright It is still strong It has good balance yet it rocks He can’t get up And tries to roll His grey hairs bristle with movement As he strains his body to move His small specs fall Fall 6 inches To the floor Shattering… He falls down on the glass And feels the searing pain in his face As the glass digs in he feels it worse than before His three last beats bang off the floor That is the last noise he hears And slides into a blissful comatose The chair in the corner It rocks in his absence Author's Comments NaPo #20 sorry for being so late...I was finishing up some homework and studying for a test...2 tests. Posts: 1,503 Group: Moderator Member #30 Joined: 17 February 2008	Introduction The man walks to the microphone in the middle of the stage; he grunts as he clears his throat. He makes a subtle lick of cracked dried out old lips. He opens his mouth to speak “Now introducing the contestants for tonight’s show!” He speaks in a grand voice. He looks into the microphone again to say some more but as he opens his mouth he turns his head sharply towards the ground. He harshly coughs into his white sleeve. It was his fastest motion all day and was one of his last. He looks at his sweater now covered in blood in mucous. He looks towards the audience, the judges, as he turns to move he looks into the contestant’s eyes. No one is aware of what is happening he falls backwards and passes out. Immediately producers flood the stage. “Somebody call a doctor!” A woman screams. The host’s wife leans over him as the paramedics pour in to take him away. He looks around as the worried crowd closes in. He fades to black and is wheeled away. Author's Comments #1 on the list [link] I will try to finish all these by the end of the year. That is my goal. Yep ts just an introduction no storyline...I left that for you to decide. By: Jonah Mullen
