Its by the power of the holy spirit that Mary was able and she was full of grace- I beleive the Holy Spirit and Grace to be different things. did Jesus not have brothers and sisters by Joseph? not really sure myself i might look it up. Mary sould be honoured just as the bible says honour thy mother & father and things will go well with you. I really enjoy this forum and hearing others beleifs on Christianity. next...... The Devil tempted Jesus with THE WHOLE WORLD AND EVERYTHING IN IT if he would bow down and worship him and he overcome temptation with the help of scripture to counter the devils tricks. *thats like the best games,clothes,popularity,acceptance,worship by all ppl,a never ending bank account,fame,the biggest boat in the world,cars,girls,the ability to be who-ever he wanted to be in this life,to look however he wanted to look,power,owning dubai and its artifical islands need i say more... |

I dunno i guess. You just put it in a way that would make it a lot harder to give up. In the bible it kinda just talks about land. And so it's like you can have this land. But that makes it look probably a bit like it is you know? |

lol, it's been a long time and I haven't realized this post. I hope I'm not thread digging or anything but I would like to point out that in the Hebrew language, BROTHERS AND SISTERS can also mean "close relatives" like, it's possible that it was Jesus' cousins. That's a problem with the Bible, the language of the Hebrews can get pretty jumbled up in English. The Muslims usually prefer the original Arabic instead of English cause they too have word problems. |

Thanks And yes, the greeks were weird. And 2, the New Testament was written in Greek, not Hebrew But yes, the Bible is finicky. |

I can concurr on the matter. I've been studying the Bible for over 5 years, now. As well as other times in history (language, military strength, agriculture, etc.) trying to piece togethor when events have occurred, like Noah's Ark. So far, I am extremely close to figuringit out. |
