You had a bunch of misakes, one you vary your writing structure a lot. And that is one of the most imprtant principles the syle of which you write it. I would stay with the couplets instead of trying to do quartets which are much harder and all your lines don' rhyme. In poetry it doesn't have to rhyme line to line either. It just has to have a good flow. If you want I can edit it in microsoft word then send you the file. |

Oh, Now I see why its such a big deal. I never knew that they fought in WWI, or for that matter, many other wars... I guess we've rarely even got into that era in my textbooks because my school is better then others, but they make the textbooks too long I guess.. |

THE BLUE JAY AND THE BEAST As the day blackens into night and the offspring of a blue jay go to rest a crimson beam shines ever so bright in the middle of the blue jay's nest. A burst of hot plasma erupts from the light blasting the children into ash the mother awakens with ought quite a fright and the two beings clash. the red beam transformed into a rifle and the blue jay cringed with utter fear but the weapon had not caused even a trifle for the blue jay rose up and gave the rifle a leer. They fought and they rumbled but none was a match for the other they trampled and tumbled but arose without a bother. After countless hours the final blow was struck the rifle had been slain and fell to the floor the blue jay had won with ought utter luck and the ground was littered with blood and gore. The bird had flown to her nest, distraught by the rifle's slaughter then more rifle's came and eventually caught her the blue jay has lived in the nest to this very day and that ends the tale of this tenacious blue jay.
