What is green...scaly...breathes flame...and has spikes? Posts: 1,503 Group: Moderator Member #30 Joined: 17 February 2008	It sits there in waiting It is stationary It waits for them to enter And when they leave it yearns for them to come back You wonder what goes as you pass by It lasts for years to come You move on And like yourself it ages The vines grow up the sides of the building They grow wildly across the porch The porch is rotted down like decaying flesh And the support beams are collapsing like broken bones It is laying on the corner The street sign out front dies away The paint dries up and peels away like skin The shingles sag and fade to grey The owners grow old and depart this life. The heart of the home started to beat slower And slower until it died as well And the walls start to cave as the heart no longer functioned The destruction come to do their duties But see a hidden beauty and can not It has lived its days And so has its many owners It crumbles In its own despair And lack of health Its pain is pleased, as it is now deceased Author's Comments NaPo # 26 I was going to do 27 aswell but I was busy...anyways here we go.
