SPECIES UNKNOWN by Santa Fe:Joseph Julian Rumbaut

I wake up in my bed exhausted. Last night was frightful. I remember yesterday I finished my breakfast and decided to pay a visit to my friends

Shawn and Kim. The two of them were brother and sister and had flown from Austin to here so they could visit their grandmother and my family.

I remember playing numerous fun-filled activities at the pool. After a few hours we ate pizza's from Dominoes Pizza, went home and then I took

a shower. I heard violent screaming while I was in the shower. The screams were my mother's. After her constant shrieking the lights went off

and I can't remember what happened next.

As I woke up in my room I just new something was different. I tried to think up the sight of my room before last night and compare it to this

one. The window in my room had a different view. My room was on a second story so it had a wide view of the neighborhood. When I looked

outside I didn't see eye or front door of any houses on this block. Come to think of it I can't see anything that looks like it lives on Earth. I

remembered moms' yelps from last night and called out,"Mom! Mom where are you?" I opened the door and the hallway was littered with blood.

I screamed in terror as I looked at the bloody mess left in the hallway. As I took another step I gazed upon the right wall of the hallway.

There, in the crevice of my closet door was a splotch of blue gunk. I looked at it in disgust, noticing it's grotespue features. It glowed with

a faint hint of neon and looked like it was about to jump on you. I immediately turned my head away to vomit. My stomach was searing with

pain afterwards. I started taking another step on my toes as not to alert anything that might be creeping about the walls and halls of my

home. One more step and I heard a small knock in my coat closet to the left. I was horrified beyond words at what could lie in there. I knew

I had to man up and find out the source of the knock.

I put my hand on the knob, sweat beading my face and dripping off my chin. As I slowly turned the knob my coat closet door swung open and

there I was, ready to throw up my intestines and scream out all the air in my lungs. Inside the closet, hanging by a bloody rope was my mother's

torso. The arms were hacked off and the skin was ripped to shreds. Her face was part skeleton and part terrified skin. Her eyes were plucked

out with bare hands, her skin was peeled with sharp nails and talons, and the bottom half of her body was sliced off unevenly. The lowest

artery hanging out of her upper body was leaking hot-red blood. Every time a drop fell to the floor I cringed. As I walked back with horror I

yelled in my shirt so I wouldn't make noise. I would have screamed loud enough to shatter glass if I had not been stiff as a log at the

sight I saw.

I turned around and froze in fear at what I was looking at. I watched as a greenish abomination of a creature glared at me and stared

at me square in the face. It stood six feet tall with six pronged fingers and a menacing maw of dagger-like teeth. It's head jutted out back

like round, diagonal rectangle. It just stood there, still as a bump on a log and just watched me and watched me for almost a duration of five

minutes. Then it tightened it's eyes and I flinched, panicked with every move it made. Then it took a step towards me, making a piercing

screach that almost blew my eardrums. I had no idea what to do as it took yet another step closer. That monster just spelled out my demise.

I was scared out of my mind and ran to my room and out of my window. I would escaped scott-free if that thing hadn't grabbed my left heel.

I pulled and pulled, but his grip was as strong as iron. He just kept pulling me in until we were face to face. He gave me an angry look with a

tinge of hunger. It opened up it's mouth, showing the rows of razor-sharp fangs just waiting to dig in to it's meal and rip it into oblivion. The

beast lunged forward at me with blade-edged teeth and at lightspeed. It devoured me, crunching my bones and crumbling my body. I landed

in his orange-colored stomach as the stomach acids burned the flesh right off of my bones. I was turned to nothing but a blooding carcass

with bones in different places of the alien menace. It had killed me and swallowed my body, destroying it and ripping it apart. The intestines

were filled with villi that had sharp ends which had torn my remaining matter to decayed fragments of skin and bones. And finally the

gallbladders bile sucked the marrow from my very bones. I would die, never to be seen again. It was the end of the Rumbaut family

generation.

So, how am I able to tell you all of this if I died? God gave me a second chance. I was as shocked as you are. Only few are worthy of a

second chance at life. I live in Heaven though. My soul has departed to the light, strength, and wisdom of God's beautiful domain. I

now live in peace and harmony with my mother who lives in heaven as well. I live my life happier than ever and I lived Happily Ever After......

I don't get it... what spot the difference?

Also, from the description of the hanging torso, you wouldn't think his mother would be recognizable.
But other than that 9/10
Mr. Walrus is under arrest.

Duh Duh Duh!

nice. Not a level, it just shows the person trying to spot the difference between his room from day 1 to day 2 like a spot the difference game.

I forgot to mention the hair still attached and some strands on the floor and yanked off.

By the way, yes even if you didn't ask. Joseph Julian Rumbaut is my full name.
