It's on front page guys  Over the weekend, I preached at the churches cafe night of roughly 80 people, with a featured item; the "Dare (Remake)" Animation. It was incredibly intense, my message spoke of the values of life and the 2nd life, and heard over the crowd a tearful mourn through a friend of a friend. Don't know if it were true, but I'm glad the message came across so deeply. Now I can share it with the internet critics. It has, and I have explained the plot element over and over, so I hope you'll come to your own conclusion of the moral inside this man's story. This piece took three weeks to make. Sadly it's all I can contribute and have a schedule to finish Dragon boy very soon. Let's hope by September. Questions, comments, queries? |

This is kinda bad... but apparently Dan's father is Seth? Anyways Pat... another great job. Especially when he became a Christian... the montage was awesome... It was really cool to say the least. |

that was the most awsomest-est-est.. i've ever saw.. (note: please dont ask me which one is better.. i honestly think the one by josh wimble and the one made today was both equally great) the curly q airlines made me laugh so hard that i nearly fell off my chair

That was great! Good job man! Its just as good or better than the original! The art was really smooth (I like the shade technique you use) the message was really powerful and I like how he marries the girl and how you showed the hundreds at his funeral. really touching. Again, great job! (PS can you remake mine "Give me your Eyes"? lol jk) |

Sorry, Pat, according to my brother you've been trying to send me e-mails for a while now. Unfortunately, that e-mail account got overwhelmed with spam a while back (thousands upon thousands of spam messages a week), and I haven't had the time (with work and all) to sort through the mess yet. I just searched through it all and found your e-mail and I'm so sorry I wasn't able to help you with the message. Really sorry, man. Anyway, as for the animation, I thought you did an incredible job. I loved how you maintained the storyline while still taking it in some new directions (which made it feel like a fresh remake rather than a polished copy). I particularly liked how you used some of the key shots from the first one. They were just as powerful the second time. You put them together well. I especially liked the inclusion of a marriage. I got a lot of grief over Sean having taken the Paul route in the first one. The death of his mother was a tear-jerker, man. I like that you gave him more of a reason to "move" in that direction. I'm particularly happy that, rather than phase out the Christianity as quite a few nay-sayers on Newgrounds wanted, you concentrated on it even more so. My absolute favorite part was the massive crowd at his funeral. Really added impact to that already heart-string-tugging "He moved and he moved millions" line. I like that there's this alternative telling of the story with all of this. And that's what it feels like, as if he actually existed and this is another biography with different perspectives touching on key points. "The story as seen through the eyes of animator Patrick Majewski." I'm really proud. You did a fine job, especially for those time constraints (boy, this project always seems tied down by tough limitations). Can I get a copy for my site? And is this going on NG? |

I tried contacting you about how to credit you in the cartoon. I hope you are fine with the credits and that the title "Original story by Josh Wimble" fits to your standard. Let me know if you'd like it changed for NG. Thanks for the mighty confirmation squeaky. I will be submitting this to newgrounds, and will credit you as the author of the animation, no question about it. I read a large amount of constructive reviews on your dare animation at newgrounds in order to tweak the story that would seem a little more convincing. Still, one person receiving salvation isn't always going to be a convincing story, but it's an essential. Co-incidental... purely. Or maybe I've just run out of ideas for new looks. See, The Sean Quinn in the older dare animation is who I tried imitating, not a cheap redraw of Dan McNeely  The character so happens to have a goaty and brown hair  Sorry if this confused you guys. And it looks nothing like Seth without the mondo amano yaku glasses

Fine by me. I'm really just glad to see it made. Thank you for the credit. As for what I'm up to these days, I apologize for the silence. I've been working 50 hour weeks throughout the summer, so I've had little time for anything. Not to mention my primary computer died on me, so I've been forced to operate solely on my little netbook (which can't animate or do much else aside from basic communication on the internet, which, sadly, I've had little time for even that). I plan to be getting back to my old status soon. Again, great work.

omgoodness.. good one.. then Seth's wife is suppose to be Ira's twin sister right? jkay hmm.. someone who was once a mayor of a small town to a leader of a gang member.. (i guess Dan Senior and Dan Junior?) *GASP* IT'S JOSH WIMBLE!!!
