Maybe its just because we hear all about His redemption and healing and all that, which are all way awesome but well known. On the other hand we rarely hear about His ability to get you to stop acting like a doofus in everyday life, and teach you something new in a practical manner. Thats where I am now anyways, how bout you all?

Its not in dramatic ways like saving me from falling off a cliff or whatever, but in myriad small ways. You see, I am a dude with Aspergers, which is basically a form of social blindness, as in like if someone asks you "how are you?" you think they actually want to know how you are. The Good News is that after finding God, He is very generously helping me to understand people, amongst other things. Like I'll go out and converse or whatever, and I'll do something idiotic, fine. Prior to God, I wouldn't even notice, but now He'll alert me by the subtlest of signs of what I should pay attention to, so I see my idiocy, learn from it, and move on with the growth of wisdom. Individual examples are tiny (now noticing when I"ve hurt someones feelings, being given the chance to make peace in family situations, and such) but the cascade of learning is amazing. As an immediate example, your question is itself an example!

This Person Has No Life Posts: 4,059 Group: Members Member #48 Joined: 18 June 2008	woah it was all good untill the last line- i asked the question cause blanket statements like that are annoying to me !!! and i like to get encouraged from other ppls walk so its kinda nice an example ya know? yep its amazing how we can miss opportunities for being the peacemaker-its most ppl's first reaction to take sides i find.... i am so totally socially blind at times tho at times purposefully which i have to be seeing to soon......

I meant that it should be obvious that if I say something general like that, examples will be called for, like you said. It wasn't obvious at the time though, and so here we are!

But I lie several times day, I have unclean thoughts like every one else. But my favorite part is his forgiveness of sins. For someone like myself and everyone else in the world even are pastors and Benny Hinn, it is impossible to live without sinning. It even says it in the bible, the only man that has never sinned is Jesus. And anyone that says they have never sinned is a liar. I am not going to seperate everyone now as sinners and saints. But you can't scape the inevitable.

One thing that i've really been enjoying lately is finding all kinds of things in the Old Testment that fit into my life right now. Something that was recently brought to my attetion by God was this verse. Jonah 2:8 Those who cling to worthless idols will forfeit the grace that could be their's That is so true in my life. Its so hard letting go. And I'm being tempted. But I know that God is wants me to do this in order to move forward and better myself. I'm trusting him. =D My Jesus is Great.
