What is mormon?

We actually like to call ourselves Latter Day Saints. We study the Bible just like you but we believe that God has given us more instruction through modern day revalation though the prophet, it all started with Joseph Smith Jr. The angel Moroni came to him and told him to go dig up the golden plates in the hill Comorah (not sure on the spelling, sorry) when he got there the angel told him to wait until the plates were ready to be brought out into the world, after a while the time was right and he began translating the plates. He translated them with the Urum and Thummim, we now know these translations to be the Book of Mormon, hence the term "Mormons"

Magical Mystical Mormon Underwear!

As far as i know, which isnt alot about this topic, seeing as i dont have them yet, i actually get them in a couple of weeks. But from what i have been told, they are a symbol of purity, they offer protection, i know of a man who was badly burned everywhere but where his garments were, that is what we call them.

Why don't you wear long underwear? That way they would protect more of you. If that man had worn full-body underwear he wouldn't have been burnt at all I suppose.

huh, that does bring up a good point. From what i know, we are not supposed to show our garments, hence they only go to the knee and mid bicep.

Luemas is 14 :) And he can tell you a lot about the bible.... Right Luemas???

A muslim I spoke with a few years ago told me about the quran and that they also believe in the bible. Similar to what Jason said, the guy said that the quran is an extended super belief, as the bible plays out as a bass to an orchestra. So the whole idea is that it's okay to be a Christian, but to be a super Christian, you follow the quran, the book of mormon... the book of catholicism, the watchtower etc...

We all know this isn't true, otherwise muslims would class Christ the messiah, JW's would acknowledge the trinity, "Latter day saints" would not enforce themselves on door to door missions... and so on...

I can vaguely understand the mormon underwear... The bible also uses accessories to symbolize certain fruits i.e. Sword of truth, breastplate of righteousness, helmet of salvation etc... Though we don't take scripture literally by equipping ourselves, Christians carrying a sword everywhere, killing whoever we think is ungodly... funny thought, but scary...

So the context addressed is to equip ourselves spiritually, accessories are an example to give us a picture regarding spiritual warfare, since these accessories are used in physical warfare.

err, is morons a typo demon?

Wait what?
Oh crap. I can't use crusades as a legitimate case for killing infidels?
