Administratinator Posts: 1,740 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: 20 December 2007	I wanted to list the various ranks and privelages on this site and how they're earned or given. Ranks Admin: Administrators have complete control of the site. They can modify its appearance and how it works. They can modify other members' information. They also have all the powers of a moderator. Technically, Patrick is the highest ranking admin. I'm the second-highest, and all other admins report to me. If I feel the site needs another admin I'll promote a moderator who I feel has been doing a good job. Moderator: Moderators are in charge of making sure the discussion here doesn't get out of hand. They can warn and punish members who are too rude or offensive. They can also move discussion threads to more appropriate locations. My current policy is to promote moderators from the veteran staff whenever I need a new one, which isn't very often. Veteran: Veterans have the same abilities as moderators, but only for certain sections of the forums. You can be promoted to a veteran if you meet the three requirements, regardless of whether I need new veterans or not. These requirements are: -Have more than 500 posts -Have been on the site for over a year -Have had good behavior There are also titles given out for having a certain post count. These titles are for bragging rights only. You can have your own custom title, and most people do. It'd been so long that I had completely forgotten about it, but when I looked it up I found it was attainable. You need a lot of posts, and I'm not telling how many, but it's possible.
