This is the original! Inspired by Mirror, Mirror by BarlowGirl Mirror, mirror on the wall, Who’s the fairest of them all? Lie once more to me, I'm not buying it, I'm breaking free. I’m so sick of your chains and cage They torture me, throw me into a rage And I can barley make it through the day Knowing the things you say I’m a slave to your demands A toy in your hands But some day I’ll fight You can’t keep holding me tight It’s time to take the dive Time to stand out in the hive It’s time to see Who He made me to be I’m no longer a pet To the impossible image that was set I’m beautiful as I am I’m unique, an irreplaceable gem I am loved, I am adored I am a daughter of the almighty Lord I’m worthy in his eyes You can’t trap me in your lies.
	Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. Stegosaurus: We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land'. T-Rex: I think we should call it...your grave! Stegosaurus: Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! T-Rex: Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh...now die!

I understand that they don't want preaching in the classroom, but if they ask for a poetic description of your self image then they can't really expect you to leave your world-view out out it. Death Posts: 1,562 Group: Members Member #310 Joined: 15 July 2009	@Junior: That may be a difficult task since A: classifying atheism as a religion would require a rather unorthodox definition of a religion, and B: atheism has nothing to do with evolution as atheism is a subject of philosophy and evolution is a subject of biology. I'd love to debate you on this one, maybe we should take it outside (to a thread about evolution or atheism rather than a thread about Joukai's poem)?

The teacher was the one who read it, I stayed anonymous. I choose not to, because at the time, I wasn't sure if I could. I was still testing the waters. Edited by Joukai, 29 Aug 2009, 01:45 PM.
