Mud Vile Posts: 320 Group: Members Member #396 Joined: 1 September 2009	Hi guys, I wanted to raise a question and see all your thoughts. I won't state my own views until other people have had a chance to speak. My question is WHY does God love you/us? It's not as easy to answer as it seems. If you were to suggest that it is because he made us, then why does that necessitate love? There is a mess in my kitchen, and I made it. Not only that, but I hate that mess and I will (eventually) do whatever it takes to put an end to it. Mull it over and speak your mind.

Why doesn't he shove a lightning bolt up our donkey? An irrational answer is that he still does... Does that mean God's crazy too? YES!

Surely his grace is a result of his love for us, not the other way around? The best answer I think I ever received was "Conrad, Its because you're lovable!" Which greatly pleased me. My view is that God loves because God is Love. Not a dude with a big old-testament beard, but love. God loves because that is what he is and all other things extend from that. Why do I say God is love? well the Bible says so.

We were made in HIS image so we were made to reflect him and everything that he is. Most of us dont though. We were created to have a relationship with God on this Earth. The life of a true Christian is all one big Test that God wants to see if his servants find all the answers and passed with flying colors. And too bad you cant cheat on this test lol
