Finding a scripture; I can describe it, I just can't find it!

So maybe it's just me, but my diligence for seeking knowledge has demoted lately, most often resorting a click away to biblegateway or google search. I'm having some issues finding the scripture I need to give a talk next week on giving.

Also, if someone is having the same issue as me, feel free to post your description here too. It doesn't have to be related to my own scriptural dilemma.

I want to find the scripture of the woman who had little to give and still gave away whatever she had left, and was acknowledged by Jesus amongst the rest that she was more of a giver despite what others could afford and how much more they had.

I just need to find the scripture so I may recite it when I give the talk. Thanks guys.

Very nice scripture Concolor, I forgot that was in there!

Hmmm... The story of the woman who washed His feet? I remember my pastor talking about how the perfume was probably all she had of worth, her wages or something, that she was probably going to use to buy food. Instead she used it on Jesus.

At least that's what my pastor said.
Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive.
Stegosaurus: We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land'.
T-Rex: I think we should call it...your grave!
Stegosaurus: Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!
T-Rex: Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh...now die!

Luke 7:36-50

Can't find anything about the perfume being for food though.

Biblegateway is a great place to look up passages in many different versions of the Bible and many languages (2 Norwegian ones!) You can also search for terms like "wash feet" and get passages related to this ;)
