I just noticed the FAQ tab and I was curious. I clicked it and the first thing that popped up was joinable groups. what exactly are they and do they still exist?

Actually, Thanks for bring this up.
The joinable groups are certain groups such as mod, admin, ect.
But instead of us admin that must appoint it, the members themselves can join a specific group.
We didn't make it yet because it slip our mind, well my mind I can't speak on the behalf of all admins.
I'll talk to Cam and Pat to see if we want groups and what kind

Joinable groups would be like clubs that people can get into. It would be useful if there were a lot of members.

We could have competitions between members of different groups. We could also have private areas of the forums for different groups. If we had more people, we could have more than 3 people in a group and this sort of thing would make sense.
Note that Cameron is not Patrick and does not run Godlimations.

Would this also mean there is a possibility of having groups for grown-up discussions where one does not have to worry about the possibility of exposing young readers to content that requires maturity for proper handling?

The rules aren't just there to protect minors. This is a Christian website. We want our speech to be seasoned with grace. Even if it were adults only, I still wouldn't allow a lot of perverted jokes, swearing, or anything like that. But if we can get, say, 20 regular posters on here I'll make up some groups.

That makes sense. I was thinking more in the lines of for example testimonies that have important parts which are adult in nature, or discussion of sins that some parents would not be comfortable having their children read about etc.

Just do as I do, and use older words for them. Such as Hades and fornication.
None of the youngins have any idea what I'm saying.

Then again, I don't even know what i'm saying.
