We will have a contest where anyone can run for forum President. The President will his or her own section to use for presidential announcements. And he or she will also be granted moderator powers and access to the veterans area unless I have severe worries about granting the person those powers. Each president may add a title to the job, and these titles compound. Let’s say Bob gets elected first. He chooses the title Lord of the Dance. So his full name is President Bob, Lord of the Dance. Susan gets elected next and she chooses Queen of Cheesedom. So she’s President Susan, Lord of the Dance, Queen of Cheesedom. It keeps building. Elections start Nov. 20th, and continue every other month. And no president may serve twice in a row. Each forum member will have one vote. Admins can’t run for President, although they may participate in any other way. Interested in joining? You’ll need to get on the ballot first. You can announce that you want to run in the campaigning section. You’ll need 3 people to endorse you. Everyone can endorse up to three candidates, including themselves. You may not endorse the same person more than once. After you get 3 people to endorse you, you can start campaigning. When the election comes, you’ll be available for people to vote for. The person with the most votes becomes President. Second most votes becomes Vice President. Anyone with 2 votes or more becomes a congressman. Anyone who got elected may propose a goofy forum rule. If ½ of them support it, it becomes law. The President may veto any law. Of course, the laws won’t be heavily enforced, so if the law is really annoying you can ignore it.

I mean, if I look at the whole spectrum, I guess 2 months is a long time, but whatever.
