Well, personally, I see no connection between Obama and the Anti-Christ. You can debate this, but personally, i find it irrational to pair the two. |

Even if he was born in the middle east, i don't see the connection. You wouldn't believe how many people have been called the Antichrist at one point or another. Similarly, how many people were wrong. I find the notion ridiculous: as such, I ridicule it. |

I think Obama is pretty cool. He has radically improved USA's image internationally. Only six or seven years ago I had "Mr. America" thrown at me as an insult from a fellow student (and we're one of the US' closest allies after Israel and Britain). But after Obama was elected people start believing that the US can once again play a positive leading role in the free world. Also he shows respect for all kinds of beliefs, and he recognizes the importance of science and the severity of the climate and energy crisis we are moving into. For these reasons I endorse him, and therefore he is surely a good candidate for the anti-Christ. |

I didn't know antichrist was something you were elected to... can I put my name in the hat? At least if I do that, I'll know that when people accuse others of being the antichrist, I'll know they're wrong! Its like the saying "somewhere, there's a bullet with your name on it." Now if I were to own that bullet, the chances of me being hit with it are pretty slim indeed, so why not write your name on a bullet and keep it safe? Edited by conradw, 8 Nov 2009, 07:43 AM.

well, Hitler killed 2 million Jews, and did it in god's name, therefore he slandered god's name, which would make him an Antichrist. Nero plucked early Christians' eyes out and fed the Christians to tigers. he was an Antichrist. the truth is, the Antichrist is not a single person, but an entire denomination. Hitler and Nero etc were just popular members of antichristianity. but, I find it funny that Obama's 1st term would end in 2012, though. |

Surely that would mean that it would be (presumably republican) person who replaced him in 2012 who was the antichrist right? also I don't think its fair to compare Obama to Hitler and Nero, do you? I thought the whole revelations thing were THE antichrist comes in isn't it? |

The Book of Revelation says (don't remember chapter/verse, but still) that the Antichrist will be of Babylon's seed (read: Middle Eastern). Also, unless Obama starts taking over the world and creates a one-world government, I think we'll be pretty safe. |

Yes, and I doubt that he will take over the world. But, I would say, even though the AntiChrist idea you have going DZ is interesting, I think we have to admit that there will be a direct opposite to Jesus as Savior. That is the antiChrist, the not saver. UnSavior? |
