One person can't influence you if you dont want them to. Ifr you dont think you can trust her, dont trust her. It's YOUR religion, dont trust any lunatic on youtube. Youtube, cmon.
And seriously, I've mentioned it before, it's a bit rude to just post a link and not explain what it is because some peple can't access links further more it does not call for go0od debate if you don't explain yourself more clearly........since I'll be at this computer for a few more days and my precious internet is at my fathers house, could you please explain what this person believes?

Nobody is fully correct when they say something that is only their belief. For you, I would say just go with your own instinct.

If you want to trust her or not will have to be up to your own judgement. But I must say that she's not very original. The Scientologists have been using this strategy for years, and her speech-technique has been used since the 1930's.

I was watching digimon at the same time, so I missed what she said.

But then again... Digimon was more entertaining so it can't have been THAT important.

I lurk a lot on this forum, and am very busy in real life, so don't be surprised if I take a couple days, or even weeks, to reply to your post or PM.

What do you mean by "even believers make good sceptics"? I'm a firm believer in gravity, but that does in no way stop me from being sceptical of theories about gravity, or the existence of gravity itself :)

If however, you commended that people who adhere to unfounded beliefs can be sceptical about other beliefs, what you're really saying is "Nice to see that one can have one standard for some ideas, and a completely different and conflicting standard for other ideas at the same time" :D

I think what he meant is "It's nice to see that even those who have beliefs founded on faith can take things with a grain or two of salt."

Yeah, that's probably right. I just got hung up in the wording there :)
