@ARAZEC: parts of them were corrupted, parts are true. How to tell the difference is that those who fits well with Islam are true, and those who do not are the confused ones. Because the Acts were not written by Matthew, and one would assume that whoever wrote the account of Judas' death in the act would try to portray the event including how he died. And they did. He fell headlong (not down from a tree) in the field, and his stomach burst open. If he had hung himself, why would the author choose to omit this rather vital part from the story? That's a lot more important than whatever happened to the body after he died. Yes, when it comes to the buying of the field I am, but as to the way he died I simply see no reason for the author of the Acts to go: "And then we skip the part about how he dies, and just talk about the stuff that happens with his body afterwards. It is really too much work to include "He hung himself and then..." into the numerous verses I've already written." You're just jealous that the Prophet got a special rule God appointed him with the task of bringing his holy text to the world. Of course there are going to be some perks.Yeah, that's kind of the general idea. The whole point is that the Bible is not the word of God, only the Koran is the word of God. The Bible and all the other holy texts before are the words of man, and therefore easily corrupted. Long before this of course. The holy texts were misunderstood by the people even as they heard them from the mouth of the former prophets. But the Gospels are not true and unchangeable, only the Koran is. Therefore only the parts of the Gospels that fit with Islam are considered correct. |
