Noblemarine, I have the ability to pick up on subtle insights that people miss. There's just something about you that seemed to indicate that you may enjoy military-related things. As far as you preferring airsoft to paintball, you realize that the paintball code of honor requires me to call you a wimp. There's nothing I can do about it. I had the idea to start a roleplaying group on this site, if anyone's interested and we can actually find a method that works. |

:lol: The whole airsoft instead is because of the weapon authenticity
 and ah yes the code of honor, i find that as a guideline
 lastly yea starting a roleplaying group might be nice.

When I grew out of my old saktes I tried to borrow my brothers- because my parents refused to buy me any, but the wheel were allr otted and stuff and I tried for HOURS to unscrew those thing... so I haven't roller bladed outside of the rink (like a year ago) since I was..... 9? And I'm terrified of the roller rinks, cause these really tall people (I'm 5'5, and there's junior highers that are taller than me =P) like to try and knock you over >( lol.[/size] |

Anyone else interested in roleplaying or need to know what it is? For roleplaying we're going to want to have between 3 and 8 players. If it's just 1 or 2 we don't have a variety of skills represented. If it's more than 8 we have too many people playing at once. We'd also need to set a time where we'd all log on. Also, if you want to practice your balance, snow skiing is a good sport to take up. You fall but you hit soft snow. |

You're not posting too much, and it's not a problem. I actually appreciate your enthusiasm. On other thing we'll have to do is pick a genre of roleplaying. Here's a list of the ones I can think up off the top of my head. Feel free to suggest others. Sword & Sorcery: It doesn't get any more classic than this. A bunch of adventurers going around in a fantasy setting, like Lord of the Rings. Post Apocalyptic: Civilization as we know it has been ended by atomic warfare or the zombie plague or Britney Spears' latest album. Your struggle will be less about epic quests than finding enough food to survive for the next day. This genre can be pretty dark, but it has the potential for plenty of conflict besides outright fighting. Survival: Similar to above but with characters stranded in some remote location. Sci-fi: Another classic. Takes place in a futuristic setting with plenty of technology, spaceships, and other fun toys. Aliens are optional. Mystery/Crime: The players attempt to solve a crime that has been committed, or unearth a conspiracy. Requires the game master to take a very active role in shaping the plot. In other words you will have less freedom in this sort of game. Humorous: A goofy lighthearted version. Usually these things tend to be rather short-lived. And now we come to the one I am actually hoping to use Altverse: Takes place in a parallel universe with roughly the same level of technology as the earth we know and love, but where things are slightly different. It would allow me to use a Patrick-style mixture of guns, swords, zombies, and magic. |

Thought of some others: Horror: Will you survive? Probably not. Imagine you're some character in a horror flick. Mental: This is a game where your knowledge of the universe and possibly your sanity are called into question. Think the Matrix or the video game Submachine. Weird stuff will happen and you'll never be sure exactly what to believe. Also, any two of these can be combined. Mental/Survival gives you something like the show Lost. Horror/humorous can be interesting. Sword and Sorcery/Sci-fi gives you something pretty close to Star Wars. |

I'll rp. My favourite is stranded. lol, Lost is also my favourite show, but I'm willin to do whatever. Actually, I've tryed skiing a little bit. I went to Happy Valley or something, and I absolutley hated the fact thate very time I went on the rope life someone would fall and wouldn't get out of the way, meaning you have to start again =P and I can'ty ever get up. but that was a couple years ago. And I'm not that bad a balance ... usually. It's my shoes *points to all fifteen pairs. * Uh.... O.o yah. |
