 The writer's strike ends. Unfortunately, it doesn't end up in the writers' favor. Soon everything on TV becomes worthless junk not worth watching. You know, more so than usual. (I'm a writer by trade and I sympathize with the strikers, though that wouldn't prevent me from scabbing)

I wish I had superpowers.
Note that Cameron is not Patrick and does not run Godlimations.

 It is an hour earlier. However, by changing the very fabric of time, you cause a rift that ends up dooming the universe. Nice going.

I wish I didn't have to give a 20 minute report on a book tomorrow.

Oh, and a Huey heli is a type of military helicopter. They used them in Vietnam as transports.
