" Thanks for the ' help'." For an eccentric Otaku Barry seemed harmless enough. Needless to say Misaki was now more versed in the professional building techniques now it would only be a matter if she could replicate that level of work in a Model kit of her own. " you aint taking this with you?" Before the raven haired girl could throw the finished Barzam model back to its legitimate owner Barry was too far away. For a moment she considered simply putting the detailed kit in the trash where it belonged. at least not now in front of the other girls. " Do I know you? I think i've seen you before " Inquired her to Mei Ling seemingly being able to recognize her from somewhere else, maybe not here but from Yokohama. " This place creeps me out i'm going back to the store front." Thankfully the REGZ kit she'd left a few aisle backs was still sitting in the same spot by the hobby magazine section. ' Oh yes i'm going to put those lessons to good use.' The refined Zeta Gundam was truly an imposing design. its simple aesthetic features and sharp lines where pleasant to the eye, though the color scheme could have been slightly better. |

Mei-Ling watched as the strange person left, it being so abrupt that he'd forgotten to take the kits he'd given to them all. One of the girls capitulated on this opportunity by attempting to either return or throw the Barzam at the fanatic's vulnerable backside. Alas that was not to be and conversation resumed as she found herself being asked a question of familiarity by one of the two. "No, I don't think so. Why?" She would answer, tilting her head a bit as she watched the other girl walk out, giving the foreigner girl a brief smile before following after, remembering why she'd come all the way out here in the first place. "Do you know me?" |

" I think i've seen you before at the subway station." Judging by Mei Ling short stature she was probably the youngest of the three. " My name is Misaki." Not wanting to be rude she introduced herself to the curious onlooker who followed them while being dragged around by that weird Barry fellow. " I have no idea who that guy was. Sia and I where looking at the cool Models when he showed up." Due to its relative size Misaki was able to put the Barzam kit in one of her pockets holding back the urge to set it on fire in that very same spot. " I gotta say I wasn't expecting to see any girls in a place like this. do any of you play battles?" Misaki was so stuck up she considered inappropriate to play surrounded by boys, Other people would get probably get the wrong impression. Nevertheless the idea of battling with her favorite mobile suits was a very tempting proposition. |

A Jegan Type D kit was rescued from the the shelf before Sia pursued the other two, occasionally listening to what was said while her gaze primarily focused on the object in hand. "It was nice of him to offer but only the Barzam? Easier kits are out there that are more or less designed to train builders in there skill."Though that was certainly something Sia really hadn't tried but expanding her skill set would certainly help. On the question of combat her query was certainly caught. "Battle? Certainly, it's the best thing to do with them in all honesty." Sia quickly swung her backpack over her shoulder, snapping her digits onto the zipper and pulling the mechanism to open ze bag. A box was retrieved and placed on the table before the other two. A few moments later and a 1/144 model of a Victory Gundam Hexa now stood on the table, lacking the V-Dash equipment as it made it a bit fat for transportation. "A Victory Gundam Hexa, from Mobile Suit Victory Gundam, she wasn't made to be placed in a fancy display but instead to fight and win." The Hexa in question did show some refinement to the design and frame from what you normally see but there was room for improvement, like the poor attempt of weathering affect on the feet and knees which made it look like brown splotches rather then actual dried mud or the scorch marks on the beam rifles barrel which didn't seem washed out. Mei-ling wasn't sure how to reply, seeing as she'd never noticed anyone fitting Misaki's description before, though now that she thought about it she could have coincidentally passed her by during the few trips that did require public transportation. Then again there were hundreds of people passing her by on a daily basis. Looking back, she noticed the foreigner girl had come along as well, in her hand a model kit. It was silly .. but Mei-ling had at first thought they were being kidnapped by a stranger and quite nearly dialed '110', an action which thankfully wasn't followed through. Broaching the subject of battles, she looked over to see that the foreigner named 'Sia' was the first to pull out and show off her Gunpla. It was immediately recognizable to the Chinese girl, whom took Gunpla rather seriously despite it being in the background of her life, as a variation of the original Victory Gundam. The LM312VO6 Victory Gundam Hexa. Mei-ling felt embarrassed now, her cheeks flushing a light pink as her hands fidgeted with the straps of her shoulder bag. "W-well .. I used to battle a lot .. but I've kind of been busy with schoolwork." Afterwards she immediately regretted bringing her Gunpla with her since she could have used it's absence as an excuse to leave. Then again that would be rude .. Edited by Urunobi, Feb 10 2015, 04:41 PM.

It was very unexpected to get all these positive answers from the question Misaki so shyly avoided until now. " wow! its so small." Gasped the shocked teenager when Miss Sia procured her 1/144 Victory Hexa. Despite her 'refined' looks Misaki considered herself a Gundam walking encyclopedia so she was familiar with the Victory line of mobile suits despite her inexperience as a professional modeler.Curiously she looked down at all the fine details painted on the plastic including the home made weathering effects. It was simply too much the teenage girl began poking at the cutesy rabbit ear antennas. " Is that so? we should play some battles. if they are anything like a video game I should be able to do alright." Bold words from someone who rarely went to the arcades. Not the most avid gamer of them all Misaki still liked to brag about it for some reason. There was something oddly suggestive in the way Mei Ling worded that reply and it became more apparent with how flushed she seemed. " uhh. that's awesome i've always wanted to play but none of my friends do. You guys wanna play some matches? I heard they let you borrow pre-built models too." With supreme confidence she extended this invitation to Mei Ling and Sia in hopes to convince at least one. |

It was rather pleasant her Hexa received positive output, even if it was all internally kept? "Yeah, later UC models become dwarfs compared to some of the other stuff in the earlier timeline, it loses out on its defense but certainly gains in mobility and maneuvering. It can also boast the firepower if its kitted out with its rightful modules which easily snap on or off, so it's certainly not lacking in the firepower department." Though a beam gun was always enough to Sia but options was also important in a fight, which a large array of weapons certainly provided too a fighter, depending on a single weapon would also be a bad idea for fresh pilots. "I'm eager to fight if that's the case." Arranging a slight smile across her lips. "I'm sure a battle between us three wouldn't be an issue to sort out. Setting battle damage to minimum as well, as I suspect they wouldn't want you going hardcore with a loaned model." Sia then waved her hand in a gesture like manner to Mei-ling. "Not sure about you though, did you bring your regular model? Unless you're happily fine to use a store model like Misaki." |

Mei-ling found herself fidgeting slightly as the topic drifted ever closer to an actual Gunpla battle between the three of them. Swallowing the lump in her throat she nodded shakily and unzipped her bag, carefully reaching in with her hand she gently plucked out and placed a weathered looking 1/144 scale Federation GM Sniper II down on the table at her end. Despite it's appearance, the Gunpla itself was clearly well cared for as it stood up-right without toppling over as one might expect from seeing it for the first time. The custom paintwork was a little chipped here and there but it was one of the reasons why Mei-ling came out this far to Tokyo to get materials and refresh her supplies. Tertiary concern or not, she still liked indulging her hobby during downtime. Compared to the Victory Gundam, she felt that it was a little sub-par, after all people enjoyed seeing the iconic Gundam take to the field, not a generic field unit. If steam could actually come from one's own head because of heat, then it would most certainly be coming out the back of Mei-ling's. She didn't understand why she was feeling so flustered, perhaps it was because of a multitude of reasons that she could not currently comprehend. All she knew was that her eyes refused to leave the table's edge. Edited by Urunobi, Feb 10 2015, 10:15 PM.

" Thats a fancy looking GM. is it a Kai or a Sniper?" It was slightly difficult to discern the unique features on Mei Ling GM due the black slightly worn paint coat. Of course the altered visor would be a dead give away after a few more seconds. " your models are so awesome. I cant wait to make one on my own." Sia and Mei Ling finished custom models where a huge confidence boost for Misaki if they could do it so could she. " These are really cool and simple streamlined designs with no unnecessary details nor chicken wings strapped to the back." The GM series had always been a favorite ever since she started watching the old UC anime. The Victory 1 was also a straightforward and rather conventional design that still managed to have a personality on its own. It didnt take long for the girls to find out the area of the store where the Gunpla arenas where located since it was early in the weekend there where a few other people having matches with up to four players at the same time. The amount of damage the models sustained was restricted to low settings since a lot of people borrowed pre built sample kits fully painted. Misaki left the other girls side for a moment and came back with a complete HG 1/114 REGZ in standard colors. " I figured i'd give it a try before buying it. " Misaki decision had been heavily influenced by Sia and Mei Ling.In her personal view EF mobile suits always held more appeal than those ugly Zeonic monoeye robots. With a soft giggle the excited teenage girl brought the menacing looking REGZ for everyone to see standing upright while rigidly holding its Rifle and Shield. |

It had been a nice day for Jin so far. The sun was setting and people were running about, which actually somewhat frightened him, as he was rather nervous when it came to dealing with the city. However, he was glad for this kind of commotion. People were happily bustling through the store and the nearby areas. Jin however, was not really moving that much. He was sitting on a bench, looking up at the 1:1 Scaled RX-78-2. It was amazing that is could be built, but the giant model left Jin curious as to when giant machines that can make mince meat out of tanks would become a real thing. He took the time of this take to relax and take in the modeling sites as he was off both from school and work on the same day, a very rare occurrence even if Jin was a part timer. Then there was some commotion about one of the Die Hard Barzam dudes voluntelling a few girls to build some Barzams with him. Honestly Jin found it rather creepy. Seriously, being forced to build a kit that one probably would not like, by some random stranger, Jin thought, just...no. That is like being forced to do your least favorite subject by some random college professor. He shivered, vector calculus by a random professor would riddle Jin with nightmares for a week. Thus Jin continued taking in the sites for a few more moments before he got up and started towards G-Muse, the place where he obtained his very first, and some more, Gunpla models. As Jin had hoped, the shop was busy, but not incredibly over flowing with people. "I guess that Barzam weirdo drove some people off..," Jin muttered to himself. He respected the various cults of not so popular MSs and MAs, but that did not mean they should be forced upon people, and honestly found the cult a bit creepy. However, Jin was not really one to talk. His main Model for Gunpla fights was a Zeta Zaku that he strangely had yet to customize himself. And it seemed to be towards Jin's spectating favor this time around, as a Gunpla fight had started, so he just reserved himself to spectating the fight to gleam strategies off of the different combatants. Given Jin had wished he had gotten here earlier so he could've potentially joined in the fight, but it was what it was. (OOC: Invited via Vindel) Edited by Alabastiar, Feb 18 2015, 08:34 PM.

For a first timer Misaki seemed to be relatively proud of the role she played fighting against three other people. The fight proved to be a deathly waltz for all participants no one came unscathed and every gain was hard fought to the point all Gunpla involved engaged in savage close range combat. " Where did you come from ?" Now that the battle was over she cast a glance over the blonde fellow who had joined out of the blue. At firrst she'd thought it was the same Barzam otaku from before but now it was obvious this was some other guy. Even know her face was red. Fighting to the last bullet was such an exciting experience. After this she would definitely become more involved in the violent and merciless world of Gunpla battle. |

Jin walked out of the Gunpla fight cockpit feeling refreshed. It was his first match in a while and for getting back into the fighting, he didn't too bad. Yeah, he made a few tactical errors here and there, but the fight was fun. I guess I'll start getting back into this, Jin thought, the almost lifelike thrill is fun. I can't believe I actually stopped for a bit. It was not long after he got out, waiting on the others to see who else he was fighting that someone called out," Where did you come from?" This was strange the blond started to look for who had seemingly inquired out to him. And after a brief search, he found the short, black haired female that had called out to him. She was cute, but Jin had no luck with ladies, so he wouldn't attempt to flirt. Thus, Jin pondered his response briefly," Initially I came in from outside, looking at that giant Gundam model," That was just Jin being a smart ass. "I was hanging around G-Muse for a bit. Then I briefly started to spectate but then joined the match as it seemed to be open," pausing to think of the reason a bit more," and I was bored." The blond then mulled over the next part of his response,"I hope I didn't interrupt anything important." Before going silent once more, Jin asked the black haired woman," So, what did you think of the opponents?" Edited by Alabastiar, Feb 21 2015, 09:09 PM.

That stare of utter disapproval remained as Jin explained his arrival. Apparently he had just felt like joining in uninvited , surely this was merely a game and it would be selfish for Misaki to decided who gets in or not, after all G-muse was a public establishment. It was all to obvious he'd decided to jump in a match in which all the participants where pretty girls there was no doubt about that. She couldn't deny her charms not to mention Sia and Mei Ling where also good looking. " its fine. I really cant complain for getting another target to shoot at." Replied the confident teenager. " Its good to see no one is willing to take it easy on me for being new to Gunpla battle. makes it much more exciting." Was her answer to the blonde man inquiry. The blue REGZ she'd burrowed stood in the middle of the field inactive field in the same defiant posture it had fell in combat. |

The stare that Jin received hurt a little bit. Well that is one first impression ruined, Jin sighed as he took a step back and blew out, why do I get the ones that seem to be difficult to talk with. Though meeting the Misaki left Jin questioning the match, not it's validity but rather who his opponents were or if he knew them by chance. And as his mind slipped a bit, he wondered if they were cute or if they were even females. However the words that came from Misaki seemed to not take to Jin's actions, but he didn't take it personally as he couldn't please everyone. So she is new to this as well, he thought, I guess we are somewhat in the same boat as I am getting back into the fight after a brief hiatus. And he shrugged," I don't really try to get too competitive, if I do, it takes the fun away. So I just play around for fun, regardless of my opponents Gunpla experience even if I am the one who might need a handicap. Though I do think it is cool to meet someone who is recently getting into Gunpla fighting." He took another step back, not to evade further conversation; it was more akin to the stance one would take while impatiently waiting for something to happen. "It's good to know you enjoyed the match as well." He was also waiting to see who the other contenders were. *OOC:Awkward Jin is awkward.* Edited by Alabastiar, Feb 21 2015, 11:53 PM.

Now it was Misaki's turn to ask questions. " That Zeta was yours, wasnt it?" Kinda of an stupid question. Seeing Jin act so awkwardly was making Misaki realize how much of a bitch she could be to strangers from time to time. " for a non competitive player you sure seem to know how to capitalize someone else weakness. Just kidding my name is Misaki Nakajima." The least she could do now was offer the poor guy a slight smile. It wasn't very apparent at first but Jin was clearly older than her though not by much. That blush on her face gained a shade of intensity when Jin praised her effort mentioning it was ' cool ' to see someone new hard at it. " i've had plenty of fun too." The understatement of the year right there. The raven haired girl absolutely loved the adrenaline rush that came with battling other people in a death match and was eagerly looking for a second round. |

The blond merely nodded at Misaki's question," Yeah, the Zeta was mine. I call him ZZ. Short for Zeta Zaku but people get it confused with Double Zeta, which is kind of funny in my opinion." It was the unofficial name for the unit. The official name was just the Zeta Field Repair, which could have easily have been made by simply swapping a Zaku II head onto the Zeta body. However, the awkwardness was what it was. But Jin liked Zeta more than he cared for the rest of his models as it was his first model, to both build and fight with, and for the most part, it was the only one Jin fought with. The others he would keep up with, but not like he did with ZZ. And for the most part, it showed with the ZZ's colorful and shiny yet well cared for parts, with only a few builder made scratches here and there. Now, Jin usually ended up buffing out the battle damage if it was minor enough. What followed next seemed nice, but turned rude, when the black haired woman complemented Jin, only to take it back with her introduction. And in a tone that sounded flatter than usual, possibly due to a somewhat hurt pride, Jin responded," Nice to meet you Nakajima, my name is Jin. And it's good to know you had fun." And he started to think again, I can't tell if she is trying to be playful or if she doesn't like me, thought I think it might be the latter. And then there was a brief moment of silence that was only broken when Jin's Phone went off, 'BIG O...IT'S SHOWTIME!' only for Jin to silence the phone while saying, "Nope, not showtime just yet," with him returning his attention back to Misaki," I think it was kinda cool how well you fended for yourself as someone new to the fight." |

In the heat of the fight Misaki really had done a poor job paying attention to the Zeta Zaku employed by him. since the REGZ she'd been using was a professionally built sample she wasn't fully aware of the limitations this spelled out for when she used a Gunpla that was actually her own. From what she could tell the Zeta Zaku and REGZ performance was exactly the same. After all both machines where siblings of sorts ... The conversation would have continued there however Misaki held her tongue upon hearing the campy ringtone. " mustn't have been very important." Judging by the quick way the blonde man dismissed the call it was safe to assume she wouldn't be interrupting anything by speaking up. " you arent half bad, yourself. just wait I am pretty convinced the REGZ will make an amazing Gunpla so i'll start working on one of my own. gotta give it a nice custom paintjob and maybe a different gun the beam rifle is OK but its too ' accurate' for my taste " There where so many ideas she wanted to explore when customizing it. |

Keo had been walking around the shopping center by their self that day. Usually, Keo went to G-muse once a week with a friend but for some reason Keo just wanted to go alone this time. They had already bought a few things when a battle between a few teenagers had caught their attention. Every once in a while. a person would look at Keo and whisper, take a picture and tweet out '#KOStar at G-muse?' but Keo wasn't made up like usual, big sunglasses and a beanie on. They took their glasses off to watch, their bags hung from their left arm, only their right hand was ever gripping anything as the left one hung limp for the most part. Keo happened to be near the teens when the battle ended. "Interesting." They murmured in English. "Good show." They commented to the teens as they approached. A friendly smile on Keo's face as they stood the same height as Jin. The clearly older... man(?) was wearing tight jeans, leather boots, a leather jacket and a V-neck shirt under it. They defiantly stuck out from the normal crowd of Japanese in the shopping center. Keo's dark skin and dyed hair made them stick out to most but Keo didn't come off as a thug despite they punk style they had."It's nice to see kids these days so enthusiastic about gunpla fighting." Keo came off as very non-threatening, almost warm yet there was still an air of calm about them. Keo's Japanese was mostly spot on but they had a strange rhythm to their speech. To someone that knew Keo was Hawaiian it would make sense but to most it just seemed like an odd accent. "Do you compete?" There were some whispers from people that passed them. One person took a picture of Keo rather conspicuously but Keo just ignored it. They were used to being noticed when out in public. It usually wasn't that bad when out somewhere normal but G-muse had a higher concentration of their online following. In the end, people that took picture's of them would tweet them to Keo, asking if that was really them. It was the price you payed when, after sharing your face and some of yourself with the internet, you suddenly try to get your anonymity back. Edited by RottenVanilla, Feb 24 2015, 10:55 PM.

From the looks of it someone else had been spectating the Gunpla battle that had just taken place. Four person free for all deathmatches where a rare sight on this establishment or at least thats what Misaki thought when she heard a voice praising their display of animated violence. " uh?" When the pig tailed teenager turned around she saw an oddly androgynous figure, not a rare sight at all in a metropolitan area such as Tokyo. " Kids? i'll be turning 18 in just a few more months." This person spoke with an easily identifiable accent probably a pacific islander, she'd been to Hawaii on vacation on previous years with the family after all. " Complete?" Misaki picked up the borrowed GP base and the stock RE-GZ model from the table. " oh no I just got this sample kit I rented from the store. it is my first Gunpla battle after all I just wanted to give it a test ride before buying my first Gunpla in years." It was weird to see other people take pics of them. could it be their battle was that amazing? Misaki was not aware of Keo reputation has an E-celeb after all she was at best a closet otaku. |

He smiled as Misaki started telling him about what she would be doing once she got her own ReGZ gunpla. Creativity was always fun, and it was even more fun when he got to hear others seemingly get overwhelmed with creativity. Then a new comer had seemingly waltzed up to the group and surprisingly, Jin could not tell if the person was a boy or a girl. This fact made Jin uncomfortable, not that he didn't like androgynous people, but rather he felt uncomfortable because he was not able to determine how to address them, as calling a person 'it' seemed rather degrading in all aspects. And then Jin scoffed when he was called a kid," Ha...funny. I am twenty, yo." He usually wasn't informal, but this person seemed rather relaxed, so Jin had deemed it okay by his personal standing. "And to answer your question, I did for a little bit, lost my touch with Gunpla fights, and took a break. So I am just getting back into fighting with ZZ," He said, pointing to his Zeta Zaku on the Gunpla table. It was after that, that Jin noticed people were taking pictures and in all honestly, the blonde was sure it was not him to say the very least. Maybe one of his combat partners, or even the fight it self, Jin had no clue. Ah, but he still found it strange. The only reason he thought pictures were necessary were if the person was taking pictures of something cool, important or famous. And thus he shrugged. "So, anyone got any cool plans?" And then Jin remembed out of the blue," I just remembered, I need a gunpla team if I plan on getting back into some of the tournaments." |
