Previously It was nice to bathe in a positive output concerning her Hexa, refinement over the years perhaps finally showed itself on its construction or maybe it's just the newly inserted replacement parts that accomplished such. Sia quickly begun to admire the GM Sniper II on the table, it's coating was rather nice form of camouflage if the battle zone suited the Gunpla, it wasn't visually an eyesore either but rather charming. "Make sure you take your time when constructing your Gunpla, Misaki, rushing it will only resort to mistakes that will reflect on the quality you'll be using in battles. Poorly built arms or legs will become even more of a weak point and may break during hard maneuvers." Flashing a smile before heeding the attention Hexa demanded. Sia fished her GP base from the void that was the bottom of her backpack as well as pulling out a small case that was about the size of your standard palm. Opening the case provided a range of weapons that were compatible with the Hexa, mainly smart guns and vulcan cannons as well as spares for beam rifles, pistols and sabers. Two beam pistols were placed on the waist holders of the Gunpla while the large vulcan cannon was mounted on the rear shoulder hard point, sticking out much like the rifle does for a Dynames. Fiddling with the options came next, the lowest setting was placed to a C level of battle damage while the field was to be a randomly generated one with any additional settings also set to random. It was best when the fighter didn't know what was coming. "Gunpla Battle combat mode, start up." "Model Damage level set to C." "Please set your GP Base." With that said the GP Base was snugly put into the frame of the table, accepting the data that was recorded within its archives. |

Mei-ling followed after Sia whom prepped her Gunpla for battle as soon as Misaki picked out a pre-made kit courtesy of the shop's many selections for beginners. It was a good choice, she noted, since the Re-GZ was basically a downgraded variant version of the titular Zeta Gundam being capable of transforming into a wave-rider form for maximum maneuverability and offered attack options both in the air and on the ground with it's flexible assortment of weapons. Taking her place at the other end of the table, she pulled out her GP base from her breast pocket and slotted it into the terminal. Fishing out a small kit similar to what Sia had from her bag, she clipped the 90mm Long Rifle into it's hands before placing it down on the holographic pad which would scan their affixed Gunpla units, registering it as ready. Mei-ling smiled, her anxiety wearing off as she felt the fire within warming her up. Edited by Urunobi, Feb 11 2015, 06:56 PM.

Misaki followed the relatively simple steps when setting up the model she'd choose inside the 'virtual' battleground. In an unexpected turn of events Miss Sia revealed a case with every type of conceivable weapon the Victory could equip. She stared wide eyes thinking ' i'm so screwed'. The random stage selector picked one of the most popular maps in the current rotation: a flowery forest landscape under heavy rain and thunder. Dark stormy clouds covered the sky, the heavy rain made a very realistic effect when hitting the armor plating of their mobile suits. Despite the simplistic background this virtual arena was modeled with hills, slopes and every conceivable natural obstacle in a region like this one. Even if the size of the arena was relatively small none of the competitors had a clear shot on their adversaries from the get go. " These graphics look as good as in TV." Being a beginner Misaki was not expecting the terrain to play such an important role in a Gunpla battle. " Ok. lets do this thing!" The REGZ model began moving in an erratic pattern around the starting area marching in circles, turning left and right, aiming the sights on the rifle up and down as Misaki tried to figure out the control layout before initiating the hunt. " I wonder what does this button do." Accidentally Misaki fired a high explosive grenade from the hip mounted launchers into a nearby patch of forest. The blast surely would have been seen and heard by all presents. " oh wow." The destruction effects where so detailed that it was possible to see the trees disintegrating into toothpicks followed by a small fire that was soon put away by the unrelenting rain. |

"Beginning Plavasky Particle dispersal." "Field 03 Forest." "Battle start." The emitters glowed brightly as life to the simply forest stage was brought to life too the very fighters who would be piloting through such a course. Addition of heavy rain was a bit surprising but that's what happens when you totally go random. Anything terra related gave the Hexa quite the advantage because of the Minovsky Flight System, granting it hovering like abilities seen from an 00 GN unit. Sia also concluded that the GM Sniper II would perhaps have a harder time due to the forest, granting obstructions that may get away from aimed shots but this chinese female could perhaps be a Lockon Stratos and easily rip them too pieces, but, what if she played it without the entire sniping ordeal? It's a dangerous suit still even without the over sized rifle. Hexa eagerly shot out from its launch and unwisely landed in a patch of wet mud. The brown like terrain easily stuck onto the white footing and legging, messy work. Ab explosion heard in the distant gave Sia some thoughts, something was down there? GM Sniper II and Re-GZ could have already engaged? It's a possibility they got gimped by the spawn. But whatever had occurred the Hexa will certainly be checking it out. Although this could also end up being a trap if either of them had been taken out, more suiting the GM Sniper II then the Re-Gz. Sia pushed each control orb forward, causing the Gunpla to lurch forwards across the dirty wet ground, headed for the 'objective' at a gentlemens pace. Edited by Spitfire, Feb 13 2015, 07:55 PM.

It had been a while since Mei-ling last felt an urge to battle with her Gunpla. Asides from normal maintenance, she'd mostly been focusing on college work and didn't have much time for something as competitive and time-consuming as Gunpla Battle. It felt good nonetheless as she heard the familiar announcer's voice tone out it's usual lines, the holographic "cockpit" around her phased out the outside world with a light blue background, the system making sure only the displays in front would be the pilot's sole focus. Not the people staring outside. As her Gunpla made landfall, the once clear catapult it had launched out of changed into an environment of heavy rain and obscuring trees that towered over her. Before she could check to make sure everything was working properly, Mei-ling heard what appeared to be an explosion off towards her left. Orientating the Sniper towards that general direction, she began moving towards the source, though at a slight inclination as she attempted to find an area obscured yet at a high enough elevation for her to hide and get that area sighted in. Despite her reservations about the two far superior Gunpla her opponents wielded, Mei-ling felt confident that this sort of terrain could give her a sort of advantage, though the same could be said for Sia and Misaki as well. " That was such a waste." Things got frustrating when Misaki realized that pull of the trigger caused her to lose precious ammunition that could be put to better use blasting away the competition. No matter, on this game there was no respawn nor regenerating health that meant she had to stay level headed and plan before all hell broke loose. She had to think on a tactical level and carefully search for the most advantageous position in the field. So far the field of view was relatively limited so with a firm grip at the controls the REGZ walked towards a more elevated position in the field. The animated model kit advanced steadily step by step with the shield raised to where it could cover the cockpit in case of a carefully aimed attack from the GM sniper. Thanks to the mobile suit elevated profile there was no need to make the model go all the way to the top for the main camera to pick up what looked like mobile suits hovering towards her position. The head of the REGZ made a full 360 turn in case there was someone else sneaking from the rear. " This is it." All she had to do was raise the arm with the rifle high enough to be able to set the sights on the Moving Victory Hexa. It was such a small profile target it was slightly bothersome to see it temporarily disappear from her line of sight thanks to the uneven terrain and dense foliage. After calculating the amount of time it would take for the Hexa to move behind another piece of cover Misaki squeezed the trigger a little to forcefully causing two shots to be fired ahead of the advancing Victory type. The recoil while barely noticeable was more than enough to set the sights slightly up. |

Hexa continued to march on the uneven terrain, there wasn't any audio of further explosions or beam fires but one should still be weary even in such conditions. A series of beeps quickly alerted the fighter to incoming fire, with the enhanced sensors it could pick it up from a further distance compared to plain vanilla suits. Sia with her quick process of thoughts between blocking and dodging that totally in the seconds, concluding a drop would suffice. The Gunpla joints churned as it fell into a patch of mud, narrowly avoiding the beam shots primed for its center mass. "Frak, Re-GZ can actually shoot right." With a burst from its thruster unit and some work from the Minovsky Flight Craft the Hexa was up on its feet. Sia raised the rifle to the Re-GZ but the shot wasn't exactly clear from where her Gunpla was standing on the holographic display, trees remained between the two. In order to remove the foilage the 60mm vulcans were used to this effect, quickly tearing up what laid between the two, allowing a direct line of sight through a narrow gap in the forest. "Ha, got you now." Eagerly proclaiming while the beam rifle came to level against the bit of Re-GZ that was seen, firing a two sets of three shots.

The encounter was brief but exciting as Mei-ling saw the Re-GZ Gunpla belonging to Misaki firing off her rifle, presumably having found or seen Sia. It was a shame there were trees in the way, else she could have seen and followed the shots to see where Sia's Victory was, but at least she knew it's general direction. Combat having started, Mei-ling pulled the GM up to a tree and brought it down to a crouch, it's servos hissing quietly as it settled into it's new position. Raising the long 90mm rifle, the visor atop the Sniper's head slid down and clicked into place as Mei-ling waited for the best opportunity to present itself. That opportunity came moments later in the form of return fire, the exchange between the two beginning in earnest as vulcan fire tore into the trees protecting the Re-GZ from being locked on, followed after by beam weapons fire. With the loss of what kept the Victory variant covered, Mei-ling had a clear enough shot on both ot and the Re-GZ, both of whom for the moment knew nothing of her presence. Now she had to choose. ... The crosshair hovered over the Re-GZ's shield arm, aiming to disable it's ability to use the shield it had mounted, which also happened to be what the Re-GZ in it's wave rider form would have and use as a thruster unit when transformed. Two advantages taken care of if she could just make it hit. Steadying the shot, she tapped her finger against the right yellow orb and fired off a single shot.

" Did I get it?" Judging by the way the Hexa fell to the ground Misaki assumed one of the beam discharges found its mark. Before she could line up another shot to ensure the Victory stayed down the Vulcan barrage tore some of the foliage apart ensuring a direct line of fire against the REGZ. " oh crap!" Misaki could already feel the retaliation strike the moment she saw Sia's mobile suit pointing the barrel of the rifle straight at them. The first shot 'graced' the head unit scarring it quite badly from one side. The following two shots where absorbed by the shield whose anti beam coating wore off after dissipating those consecutive blasts. " its a good thing I had my gua-" Just as she was about to finish she saw a projectile slam the left shoulder penetrating the armor plating and causing severe damage to the internal mechanisms. Needless to say the arm holding the shield was a write off at this point so early in the battle. Knowing it was only a matter of time before the shield broke down Misaki fired two of the grenades mounted on the shield down range hoping the catch the elusive Victory in the range of the blast. The small explosive devices where fired upwards and set on a timed fuse rolling down hill towards the general vicinity of Sia's Hexa. That fourth lucky shot must have been the GM sniper no doubt about that, however Misaki had no idea where that attack originated from. The excited young lass decided it wasnt worthy risking more of her machine structural integrity and commanded the REGZ to take a few steps back putting some of the elevated ground between her and the other two. ( blocked- 2 AP attacked with grenades-2 AP fell back- 1 movement AP. for a grand total of 5/5 AP.) |

Lining the barrel of the heated beam rifle once more against the enemy Re-GZ. Seems the new pilot had been holding its shield and proved to show some formidable defense work against the beam rifle salvo. Before the trigger could be pulled for another set two pieces of explosive grenades were picked up by the sensor, arching over and slowly rolling down to her position. In an act of agility and perhaps just wanting to re-position the mobile weapon- the Hexa would bob its head into itself while the arms came to the side, the rifle being attached onto the flanking piece of the med section, each piece of the modular system breaking down and heading into the sky as a wave of core fighters, the vulcan cannon was left onto the ground to ensure an easy transition too a higher plain. In the skies the core blocks followed the leader until a spot behind the Re-GZ was sighted by Sia. Getting a bit overly excited on a chance to perform the kill she would perform the mid flight transformation. The lead core fighter took a sharp turn to the sky while its verniers burned hot, the iconic rabbit eared head popping out from the fighter while the body section followed, making a solid connection with the docking clamp between each section, last but not least the legs came in from the rear, a confirmation was sent for a solid connection made through each piece of the fighter, reforming the Gunpla to the height of its power. Each footing made contact with the ground below it, hovering down with a cushioned landing thanks to the minovsky craft. Unknowingly the Hexa had landed between the GM Sniper II and that of the Re-GZ. Sia grumbled as she was met with the controls, if she had a little more time she'd shoot but she suspected a counter right away and brought her beam shield to in defense. Thankfully for the Victory series the beam shield covered most of the body except the peak of the head.

The Sniper was motionless, it's rifle barrel facing off to the side as the pilot of the Gunpla observed the results of her shot from the safety of the foliage cover the forest naturally provided, add in the heavy rain and the absence of light from the storm clouds above and it would remain unnoticed unless one of the two managed to get a proper line of sight on it. Mei-ling nodded in an affirmative manner as she noticed the lag in the Re-GZ's movement through the enhanced camera mounted atop the Sniper's head. With the Hexa's sudden appearance between both herself and Misaki's Re-GZ, Mei-ling felt it was appropriate to take aim and fire off a shot to greet it with. The rifle was raised, water washing over it as the Sniper took aim and fired off a single shot aimed center mass of the Hexa's shield, coincidentally the simulated storm began picking up and as the trigger was pulled, thunder struck and masked the shot. Without a single glance back, Mei-ling picked the Sniper up and began moving it towards another, more favorable, position to fire upon her adversaries.

Jin started by merely spectating the match that he had arrived late to, not that he was required to be there, but rather how he missed the match start. After a moment or so, seeing the match was still open Jin took it upon himself to enter the fray. After all, he was still trying to improve, so there was no harm to entering the fight. He entered the machine, pulling out his Zeta Field Repair, and a GP base for it as he set up. The tension was high for this one. It was his first match in a while, so the poor blond man was a bit nervous. And carefully, he pulled out the model's beam rifle and it's Hyper Mega Launcher, attaching the rifle to the unit's right hand, and the launcher to the unit's back. Outside of the Gunpla fights, the wings were just for show; inside of the gunpla fights, they made flight possible but for some reason, beyond Jin's current comprehension, the Zeta Zaku was incapable of transforming, so additional add-ons wouldn't really harm the model's performance. Zeta was ready, and thus he launched, with a nervous whisper that grew louder as the phrase went on,"MSZ-06...Zeta...LAUNCHING!!" The area was rainy and full of tree, just like he saw. Jin shivered,'I don't like rain, it'll mess up my vision a bit, but it is what it is." he just shrugged while moving the Zeta around on the ground, maneuvering through the trees to get a vantage point before seeing two mobile suits on the ground near by, a white suit and a blue suit. "Looks like the chicken walked up to the dog on this one," Jin said before aiming his beam rifle up and firing two shots at the white suit, before taking another second and then fired two more at the blue suit.

" woah it transformed!" It was so amazing yet frustrating at the same time to see the Victory Gundam simply take the skies in a timely fashion before the two grenades would turn the light frame into scrap plastic. Just as the small Victory type Gundam prepared to land Misaki took careful aim with one of the hip mounted grenade launchers aiming the high explosive war head to the ground just behind the Hexa. Even with the beam shield up at that kind of angle and close distance the blast was sure to engulf it causing a whole lot of trouble for the British miss. " who's this guy? you mate?" Feeling a little more confident with the REGZ movement and response time Misaki activated the backpack boosters jumping backwards to steer clear of the explosion she was about to cause just in time for the purple beams to graze the REGZ missing by a hair. After the short jump she deactivated the boosters wanting to save as much propellant as possible when making a rush at the hidden Sniper hiding in the dense foliage. Unlike the last time she'd managed to see the three muzzle flashes from the Zeta beam rifle so it was not difficult to deduct that was the general area this newcomer was hiding. " you want some of this too!" even at medium range the twin vulcan guns on the REGZ head began spinning firing a five second barrage which sent hundreds of rounds at the source of this impromptu attack. at this range the 60mm bullets would spread all over facilitating the chances of getting some hits on target. * attacked with one HE grenade at Victory- 2 AP Dodged beam rifle fire- 2 AP Fired vulcans at Zeta Zaku-1 AP* |

Sia remained firmed against the expected attack from the Re-GZ but something hard had hit her shield, forcing the weaker servos to pry under the force of the ballistic and allow the shield to sway away from the center mass. Before Sia could bring a counter into action a H.E grenade was lodged right between the muddy boots of the Hexa, exploding within the next few moments. The fireball quickly claimed a few joints along the leg which forced the Hexa to collapsed onto the ground muddy ground. Since the damage model was set to the lowest it wouldn't do any damage to the model but rather freeze the joints when they died, this being the case for the ankle and knee segments of the Hexa model. The cover in the mud at least provided immunity from the beam shots arching from the unknown position since the Hexa was in transition at this time. Perhaps it was the GM Sniper II actually joining into the fight? But Sia wasn't entirely sure. With the Re-GZ in front of her maybe it was best just to play dead in the thick of the mud and wait to grab something by the ankle. She still had two two beam pistols and four beam sabers. At least movement can be achieved through the minovsky craft if she did want to move, no legs necessary. Frustrating. Limbs of the Hexa remained still, playing dead in the mud.

Mei-ling brought the Sniper to a stop, turning it around to see what had brought on the renewed sounds of combat. Despite the torrent of rain, she could make out the faint lights of beam fire and the intermittent flashes of machine gun fire. With the new arrival it would appear all of their attention would be focused on each other. Though unexpected she wasn't one to let an advantage go. She brought the Sniper down to a sitting position and raised the rifle down towards the area where the battle raged on, patiently waiting for the opportunity to catch one of them off-guard. 'Hmm .. Sia looks so pretty .. Misaki too .. I wonder what'll happen after this .. I wonder if we can be friends .. Hmm .. I hope so ..' |

Sadly, all of the the Zeta's shots managed to miss. "Damn," Jin swore under his breath only to shrug it off. It was a battle, not an RPG dictated by stats. Then the Re-GZ turned fire back to Zeta with some Vulcan fire, and as Jin was still catching up. He was slow with blocking, but still managed to block some of the hail of bullets from the Re-GZ, with the shield taking a good portion of the damage with a few chips in the shield appearing. "Not bad," He said, again to himself. It was then that Jin noticed that the white suit had somewhat disappeared, which caused the blonde to panic," Does their suit have stealth capabilities?...Gah, no time to worry about that. I got a current threat in front of me." And with this, Jin backed up a few steps before firing one of his forearm mounted grenade towards the Re-GZ, only to wait a few moments until an explosion had occurred. Jin took this upon himself to make proper use of his explosive opening. Quickly unclipped his Hyper Mega Launcher from the unit's back, and quickly activated the HML's Beam Bayonet attachment before rushing the Re-GZ and taking a swing at the blue unit with the large Beam Saber attachment. Yes, Jin was here to have fun, but he also wanted to try and push himself a bit. He wanted to try and risk a bit in a match with minor damage so he could learn what worked and what didn't. After all, Jin was just getting back into the game.

Misaki was caught by surprise by the whistle caused by the grenades as they soared towards her position. " Damn!" due the distance involved the REGZ got caught right in the middle of the blast from the two projectiles. The explosions made wide craters on the ground around sending piles of mud and dirt flying everywhere. in mere seconds the REGZ was covered in filth. More importantly she'd sustained medium damage all over the fuselage and to make matters worse Misaki saw a large flash of pink heading towards them. Not feeling like trying to take a risk against that giant saber she selected the last remaining high explosive grenade kept on the shield and lobbed in the path of the approaching Zeta Zaku. The explosive device touched the ground yet it didn't explode just yet due to its timed fuse. " I'll deal with you later." Oddly enough Misaki wasn't looking forward to get caught in a crossfire again. There was no telling she'd downed Sia's Victory for good so instead of hanging around the REGZ made a quick turn applying its backpack boosters to go in the opposite direction. The REGZ fuselage was propelled forward at full speed boosting trough the uneven forested landscape waiting for the opportunity to catch a glimpse of Mei Ling Gunpla knocking whatever trees laid on her destructive war path. " Now where did that sniper go?" Surely the beam rifle would be more than enough to deal with a GM at medium range. ( Fired the last grenade I had on the shield- 2 AP. Turned around- 1 AP. made a run for it- 2 AP.) |

By the looks of things, the commotion down below was coming to a close as the sound of fighting boiled down, leaving Mei-ling with only the sound of rain and the mud underneath the Sniper for companionship. It seemed like forever but soon she noticed the trees off in the distance moving, brushed aside with some falling over, almost as if something was coming her way .. or at least close to passing by where she was. Directing the rifle over, she gave that area a look and noticed movement .. but the rain was heavy and she could barely see, so she bided her time until it got closer. |

The grenade was a success, with an explosion that seemed to catch the Re-GZ unawares. From what Jin could tell, it was an effective attack that damaged the blue unit. However, the beam bayonet missed ReGZ. Jin was excited. The heat of the battle was getting Jin excited, or rather, he was excited until he saw a grenade next to him and the Re-GZ hauling it in the other direction. "Fuuuuucckk," Jin said with a hurried voice as he too started running from the grenade, to the right diagonally to the right of his current location, but sadly Jin was a bit too late when it came to evading the explosive. The explosion sent Jin hurtling through some trees, with some damage all over the suit's backside. The wing units started to lock up, which would make flight a bit harder to control. The right leg thruster was hit 'badly', or about as bad as one could get with minimum damage settings, so it just started to stop up. One of the leg jointed started to stiffen up as well, and lastly in terms of 'major' damage, the basic beam rifle took a hit that would ultimately make the rifle more prone to jamming for the rest of the fight. All of this was taken into account by Jin after recovering from the explosion. "I think I am just lucky I didn't land on my HML...Speaking of which." He exhaled before starting up something that would make it a bit easier. He took a step back, bracing himself against a nearby tree to his left before he brought up his Hyper Mega Launcher as he began to charge the HML up.

" Where did she go?" It was slightly worrying to see no trace of the GM sniper. Misaki was confident that by now Mei Ling would have already opened fired thus giving her position away. It was a relief to not be under heavy fire for once. It wasn't all fun and games though, chances where that unknown Zeta behind was already taking aim with its ranged armament so instead of going in a straight line the RE-GZ began skirting the edges of the battlefield, after all this was the ideal spot for snipers at least in online video games. All of a sudden a thunder struck down a nearby tree causing a momentary flash that while startling allowed Misaki to catch a brief glimpse of the GM sniper. " No wonder I couldn't see you!" that black coat of paint did an amazing job concealing it that was for certain. Not stopping for anything Misaki took aim with the beam rifle zeroing the sights at the torso region. Three shots where fired but since she was firing on the move that would greatly diminish the overall accuracy of each discharge. ( Moved to the edge of the map- 1 AP. Fired beam rifle- 2 AP.) |
