After a typical day of classes at Torrington private academy the few members of the 'Gundam committee of public affairs' gathered to continue with the club activities. The name of the club was a mouthful indeed probably too much for a bunch of girls who spend the majority of their time putting together Gundam plastic models and battling with them in hopes to qualify for the local tournament scene.

Even a relatively small student club like this was provided with its own room for activty after classes. The door remained open most of the time in case anyone wanted to come in and take a look at the diverse kits the girls of the club had put together on their spare time. The shelves where adorned with Mobile suit models the majority sporting unique environmental camouflage schemes and roundels belonging to real life military forces. Ironically enough most o the models on display where various GMs and mono eye models. the only Gundams where Zeta pluses and FAZZ.

In one of the tables Misaki Nakajima focused on building her own REGZ HGUC 1/114. By now the kit was fully assembled even the MA attachment stood proud on its display base. " now how should I paint you?" wondered the raven haired girl out loud. The REGZ was completely grey since Misaki had applied a coat of primer prior to its assembly. Now it was only a matter of putting her hand brushing abilities to the test.

First day at the private education facility wasn't to bad, at least in Sia's opinion. The food could be more desirable then what was offered as well as the need to use a fork over the chopstick method, using your hands just made you look like an unintelligent caveman in the Japanese culture from her perspective. Now being the end of the day she was a little eager to get home and enjoy some time watching some T.V before mustering what little strength she had to slay some homework and other non-fond assignments.

The Gunpla club was soon spotted by Sia, something a lot more eye catching then a simple show or the tedious chore of work. "Ahhh, there you are." Sliding her foot over the other and into uncharted territory. It was nice to see a small collection of units that had been gathered, very few Gundams strangely which may mean she was in enemy territory. While Sia scouted around visually she had spotted and and certainly heard miss Nakajima.

Approaching from the left flank she would look to the Re-GZ."I personally go with the vanilla colours, mainly because I prefer the original look in most cases." Hexa always looked best as a Hexa. "Perhaps if you go with red it will go three times as fast."

It was intimidating stepping through the front gates of Torrington Private Academy, it's magnificence and beauty overwhelming her simple mind as it served to forever change how she viewed privately funded educational facilities such as these. Whomever attended this place must be very, very wealthy indeed. The campus security had given her a suspicious look at first but it seemed the written invitation, guest pass and her own official identification as an advisor was enough to dissuade them from bothering her any further, allowing Mei-ling to advance further onto the grounds without any more trouble. The landscape was rather picturesque, modern yet archaic in design, with neatly trimmed grasses and flowers flanking the path leading up to the main academy building itself. Pulling out the slightly crumpled sheet of paper out from her bag, she looked down at the directions given to her and began to follow them once she'd stepped in through the large oaken doors.

Since there was no one else around Misaki turned her attention at the door when she heard someone making its way into the club room only to see miss Sia Gloster ready offer healthy advise. " I was thinking I could make it look better with a different coat of paint. Try to make it blend with the environment and get the first shot at an unexpected opponent." According to her the blue paint sometimes made the larger than most REGZ stand out in an earth environment. Painting it red like one of the many Char Aznable suits was out of the question. " I'm saving the red paint for a more flashy suit than this one."

Trough the weekend Misaki invited her new found Gunpla enthusiastic friends in order to inject new life to the school Building and battle Club who had been left forgotten after the last generation graduated. " Sempai should be here any moment now." The anxious girl set the discolored model kit in the table and caste a glance at her phone noticing the time. Since Mei Ling was not familiar with the school layout she'd been given a very straightforward chart with cardinal point reference for ease of understanding.

It was obvious the person in charge of cleaning was getting paid well judging by how clean the room was however its decoration was lack luster and aside from the old model kits at the display shelve it looked like any other classroom. " we'll need proper decoration I was thinking some posters and tons of model kit boxes."

Somewhat a good idea, maybe. "The field is selected at random which means your camouflage can simply be to obvious for a target not too shoot you. If you can come up with a custom scheme that also works out, go with a pair of colours you enjoy and apply them onto the base. You can wash it off as well if you make any mistakes." Sia slung her backpack over her shoulder and onto the table. "Which means we need to start investing into more Gunpla if we want more decorations." Enthusiasm from her voice quickly became sparse. "Means a lot of spending involved, unless we just raid bins or something." Nervously laughing at her own idea, surely asking people would've made her seem sane now that she reflected on what she had just said.

"I bought in a kit to be possibly built in case it's needed, could serve as a secondary for that Beginner Tournament that's going to be happening rather soon." Hexa was rather easy to damaged without its armor, of course she would need to branch out to something more rugged compared to the light weight shorty, in which Sia thought of a nice mobile suit to compliment her Victory type. "That is if I can do it in time with the right detailing, wouldn't want something completely ugly to fight in, style's very important in a fight."

Mei-ling wasn't lost, per se, just admiring the building and shying quickly away from larger clumps of students walking down the hall as she attempted to use the rather crude looking directions given to her as a guideline to find the club room mentioned in the letter. Though it wasn't as if she herself wasn't excited as well, seeing as she'd left all of the friends that had incorporated her into the Gunpla world in China when she came over to study abroad. It showed equal amounts enthusiasm and professionalism that she'd also brought along her own spare tools for the trip, including extra sets of paint and weathering kits. The tools she'd already had on hand but the rest came out of her own wallet. It was a club after all, and she'd been invited to attend; the least she could do was contribute to it.

Eventually she gave up trying to follow the directions word for word and instead mustered up the courage to ask someone for directions, whom gladly pointed her towards the right direction before walking off with a wave. Following the more clearer directions given to her by someone who knew the area better then her, she finally chanced upon the entrance to the club room and knocked before opening the door to walk in, finding Sia and Misaki already present. A tiny blush tinted her cheeks before she bowed her head.

"Hello, I'm sorry for being late." She would say, placing the bags of Gunpla supplies on top of the table before going about taking off her coat. Placing it behind an empty chair, she pulled it out, sat down, exhaled, and smiled. "I brought things for the club, I hope it's okay?"

" Yes. that's exactly why I haven't being able to make up my mind, oh well ..." The map rotation in Gunpla battle included all kinds of terrains that being the primary reason why Misaki couldn't make up her mind when it came to picking a suitable color palette to fit all the variables in this equation. " There's no need to spend more than a few hundred yen. think of it as an investment on the long run. I also heard there's a tournament coming up soon so that could work in our favor if we manage to snatch the cash prize." Part of the reason today Misaki was determined to improve the quality of the REGZ model she would use to compete with.

The faint sound of footsteps caught her attention for a moment as their guest of honor entered the room with a loot of supplies in tow. " Welcome to our humble 'Wolf's Lair'." a Hearty greeting was in order. Underneath the desk Misaki was sitting on there was a portable ice chest full of cold water and other soft drinks which she pulled out of there in order to share with the others. " that's really kind of you, sempai you must be thirsty after that walk." It was slightly embarrassing to think Ling had gotten side tracked due to the shoddy directions Misaki wrote on that napkin.

After much pondering the raven haired girl took apart the basic colored primed REGZ separating its components for ease of painting. Starting with the legs she applied what resembled a wavy horizontal pattern in dull military green. The pattern was irregular and messy so in a sense it was loyal to the message she was trying t convey with that crude look.

"Disruptive pattern may work as well which helps certainly for the first engagement, unless you're in space then you'll stick out like a sore thumb, adding an emblem or a roundel wouldn't hurt as well for style, best being on your chest or perhaps the shield itself but that may kill some camouflage element. One thing to note though is not that a lot of people in Gunpla sit and wait unless it's our sniper friend so maybe it doesn't matter so much." White was always the best form.

Prodding each arm out only to lean on the table, it was a bad habit she had caught and entirely forgot about them little things called chairs. "Think I've got a box or two I could bring but they might be lost in the mess that's my room." Only been here for a week and she had already established quite the mess in her own room, though it was an organized mess at least. "Yes, there is and sign ups started not so long ago. Even if the chances of winning may be null you can always sign up, you never know when the enemy may trip which leaves them open to your beam fire." Offering a reassuring smile.

When Ms. Mei-ling walked in Sia would offer a slight wave of hand from where she was standing. "Hey, how're you?" It was nice she was collecting friends rather quickly since coming to Japan, especially the kind who fight with Gunpla like Mei-ling and Misaki.

She shook her head, not really thirsty seeing as she'd just gotten here and all, giving a slight bow with her head to acknowledge Sia's greeting. The conversation going on seemed to indicate they were thinking about aesthetically updating their Gunpla's, which meant Mei-ling's foresight paid off. Around the discussion of camouflage for the Gunpla itself, the young Chinese girl blinked as she wondered what she should do now. Coming to the club was good and all but asides from that now she felt a little lost in the discussion. It seemed to have proceeded well, seeing as Misaki was beginning her work.

Leaning back in the chair, she folded her legs and glanced from her to Sia, tilting her head.

"Are you two planning on entering the Beginner's Tournament?"

" In space looks don't matter that's for sure. It doesn't mean I am going to be running around in a hot pink mobile suit.". Misaki considered mobile suits to be designed to resemble weapons of war and in this vision she compared them with their more practical real life counter parts such as Armored fighting vehicles or combat aircraft. " I want to make this one look like it belongs to a far away front line." The way she applied the colorless paint in to the plastic surface with each delicate stroke was starting to resemble something hastily painted out of necessity rather than mere aesthetics. The finished prodcut was meant to look like brutish instrument of destruction devoid of decadent artistic features.

" I've already signed in it should be fun." Replied the enthusiastic girl back at their senior. The entry cost was fairly accessible not to mention she could find the free time to participate. " Figured I could use it to promote the club activity as well." Low entry level events such as this where beneficial for the local Gunpla battle scene.

"Front lines? Maybe try to put thermal scaring onto its frame plates, though that's something beyond myself but perhaps our cheating sniper friend could help." She motioned to Mei-ling with a weak smile. "Unit markings also can work, can take one from an actual unit in the Gundam universe." The pink haired female stood up from her seat and politely pushed it back in, folding her hands behind her back as she curiously went to inspect the models and the room itself in a finer detail then just a glance she gave it a few minutes ago. "I intend to sign up whenever I've got the moment off, excited to see what awaits on the field. Also a good chance to get experience in the professional battle area and make a name for ourselves among others."

Turning around to look upon the group. "We shall make a name for ourselves."

Mei-ling smiled back, happy that Sia felt appropriate to bring her up when it came to something she had experience in. She was happy that she wasn't the only one who signed up, though she was also worried seeing as the possibility did arise of them having to face off against each other. Her hands raised to lightly clap together at Sia's bold proclamation, then tilted her head off to the side.

"Do you have a team, then?"

Misaki flashed a toothy smile at the sheer enthusiasm displayed by her peers. " You can sign in online. they got a webpage where you can register." Was her advise to Sia who was clearly under time constraints. Upon listening to Mei Ling question she returned a mischievous wink. " That's precisely what i've been meaning to discuss you two. We can make our own team using this club as our base of operations." After the streak of battles from the previous weekend Misaki herself was convinced that neither Ling or Sia lacked in skills. Not to mention it was so much fun discussing Gundam fandom with other girls near her own age.

While the trio of girls were busy in the Gunpla club, a potential fourth member was approaching to investigate their activities after hearing rumours of the club's reactivation. It had been quite sometime that the club had remained inactive after the last group of students hosting the Gunpla club had graduated or transferred to other schools. Eager to see who the new group were the blonde-haired girl with sapphire blue-eyes by the name of Ilona Nazarov, one of the Academy's only Russian students elegantly weaved through the large clusters of students occupying the hallways towards the room allocated to the Gunpla club.

Arriving at the doorway leading into the club, Ilona observed inside the room and the Gunpla already on display to determine what kind of Gundam fans the assembled group were. At first the sight of no SEED-based Gunpla on display was a welcoming sight but the ratio between the monoeyed Zeon Gunpla and the Federation Gunpla was rather one-sided to say the least. There were more Gundams, GMs and other Federation models than there were models originating from Zeon or Neo-Zeon. Satisfied that the trio assembled were most likely fans of the Universal Century-era Gundam, one of the members spoke of forming a team which Ilona took that opportunity to finally introduce herself to the Gunpla club members.

"Do you girls need a fourth member on your Gunpla team or is this a three girl team?" The Russian girl asked as she appeared entering into the room from the doorway carrying a satchel bag safely loaded with her Gunpla equipment including her signature Gunpla model. The trio had no clue yet that their potential fourth member was a specialist in Newtype and Zeonic-based Gunpla models.

The brit furrowed her brow, shaking her head back and forth. "No, I don't have a team but one can be made as Misaki has suggested. Training in team tactics and maybe evolving our Gunpla to the point where they easily slot into a team role while being effective, base may also need refreshing." Thinking about it her Hexa didn't really fill a role in the team, sure it had the benefits of its wabbit ear design which gave it a higher form of communications but that was only it, at least it assured no communications disruption. "But yes, I'll be certainly signing up online then." Offering a smile that only showed reassurance. "If all three of us are in then it should be easier to claim the prize, most benefiting."

Sia set her optics onto the new comer, slightly applying a left tilt to her noggin. "A forth member would be a pleasure, allows us to rotate fighters in order to combat fatigue." Though before deciding Sia figured it be wise to test the combat performance on this one, either in trial or against one of the trio, she knew of Mei-Ling's and Misaki's ability and of course her own but not this unknown factor. "Of course it may be just simple to join the club but the team that would be held to a higher standard, perhaps if you show off your skills and performance then we can decide on the verdict."

Mei-ling nodded, wondering what sort of a training regime they could possibly use. It was her first time in a team of sorts, and before she could think any further a new person made herself known by announcing her presence with a question. Looking towards her, the poor girl was blinded by how impossiblyclean and perfect she looked, further reinforcing her belief that Torrington Academy must only be available to the most wealthy of families. This one certainly seemed like she hailed from some far off country, a princess of sorts come to mingle with those beneath her. Her interest in Gunpla was obvious, Mei-ling's eyes drawn to the satchel she carried upon her with great interest. If it was up to her, she felt that a trial wouldn't be needed since the club did seem to need an increase in their member base anyway.

Then again it was probably a good idea to at least know what sort of a play-style the potential recruit had, so Mei-ling decided to not raise an objection after all.

Not feeling in an exclusive mood Misaki was more than pleased to see someone else was willing to join their newly reborn Gunpla club. Ilona certainly didn't seem like the type of girl that was into this hobby but looks could be deceitful. She ws certainly a foreign cutie just like Miss Sia. With this new addition it was obvious their team would make quite an impression as an international association in the upcoming tournament.

" Welcome! Don't worry there's plenty of room for newcomers, please come in and take seat." All she needed to do was sign Ilona's name and class in order to officially make her form part of their group. At this time the REGZ she was painting was almost complete now it was only a matter to apply the watermarks and panel lining. The Gundam derivative looked rather dull coated in that colorless camouflage pattern which was applied entirely by delicate brushes.

Unlike Sia the twin tailed raven haired teenager considered their respective models to be perfect for team tactics. Sia's Victory was a heavily armed light machine. Ling Sniping was top notch and her REGZ provided perfect balance with an emphasis on wide explosive destruction. She did wonder what exactly would the new arrival bring to the table.

After the warm welcome she received from the trio of Gunpla enthusiasts, Ilona introduced herself to the girls yet vaguely recognised at least two of the members present. Oddly enough the pair she recognised appeared highly attractive towards the Russian student, the Raven-haired girl in particular seemed quite the looker. The quiet older student on the other hand Ilona didn't seem to know at all but she had a feeling that was going to change during her attendance in the club. Promptly signing her name and class number into the Gunpla club register, she removed the satchel bag carrying her Gunpla supplies and placed it by what Ilona assumed was Mei-Ling's Gunpla bag.

"Understandable, wouldn't want anyone embarrassing the team." Knowing full well that in order to join the team she had to prove her abilities as a Gunpla Fighter to the other members, she eagerly unzipped her satchel and fished out her signature Gunpla. The Gunpla was a HGUC 1/144 MSN-06S Sinanju as Ilona revealed the mighty Gunpla it was lovingly painted and decorated in Neo Zeon liveries seemingly polished to a glorious red, black and golden shine. It was the pride and joy of the Russian student's Zeonic Gunpla collection, a glance at the Federation-dominated Gunpla model display told her that the club was in need of a touch of Zeon decorations and additional Gunplas. Happy to oblige in assisting her fellow club members, Ilona just had to prove that she was capable enough of a Gunpla Fighter to join the team and then go from there.

Another foreigner was a nice touch despite being foreign together in comparison, accent though seemed Russian or perhaps something from the 'eastern bloc', when it came with tones and voices Sia was personally a little stale at identifying accents, at least the bearer of said voice could be described as gorgeous.

The Sinanju was a lovely piece of engineering, red, fast and certainly stolen federation technology. It could possibly be faster then her Hexa which itself was pretty grand thanks to the minovsky craft system but the bulky thruster units on the back could tell a different story. "What a nifty little piece, certainly a competent machine in our lineup, if you can use it right though, otherwise it just be a spazzing target." Crossing her arms over her bust with a slight sigh. "Would anyone like to volunteer to fight the new comer? If not then I'll do so." Sia adjusted herself so she was looking over to Misaki and Mei-ling, even if the Re-GZ was perhaps still a bit wet for the battle.

Mei-ling's eyes gave off a twinkle as she saw the shiny, beautiful Gunpla that was the Sinanju being placed upon the table for all to see. The customization was very typical of most kits belonging to the Zeon faction, yet the fact the Gunpla itself belonged to a "Char" meant that whomever owned it would be a very capable battler indeed. Still, she couldn't go against what the three of them seemed to already agree on. That the new person needed to be broken in and tested through a trial by fire. She'd never fought against a "Char" before .. but she'd certainly met enough people whom enjoyed cosplaying as him during her time in the Gunpla world.

She felt a bit out of place now, idly fingering the scarf that Mei-ling had neglected to take off, both as a woman and a Gunpla enthusiast. Pulling the scarf up to cover her mouth, she would raise her hand.

"I would like to volunteer."
