The first gunpla I ever built. It's a bit rough, but it's about to get some love. I'll be stripping off the paint/re-sanding, filling cracks, and all-around upping it using the skills I've acquired since. (Not that much better, but back then I didn't even sand pieces. I'd take them off the rutters, fiddle with an xacto and move on.) Pictures I'll be taking that RGM Ground shield and actually attaching it to the shoulder. Using styrene I'll be working out some new shoulders (and making a holster for a physical sword. When done I'll be running a Orange/Grey paint scheme. |

lookin' good. instead of sanding you could wash the plastic with water and some soap to help the paint stick to the plastic more easily. |

Oh do you mean sanding? I know that xD I meant sand the paint off, that's why I was confused. EDIT: Oooh, okay I see. So about two (more like one and a half years ago) I built this RGM-79. It was my first, and I didn't sand the nub marks. (Which I know is a mistake.) I also painted it in gundam markers and it also looks plain meh for paint job/build quality. What I mean is that, in the coming months, I'm going to disassemble this old kit. Clean it up. Strip the paint (via sanding or Windex or whatever method works). Fabricate some new styrene parts/detaiiling. Repaint via Airbrush and spray cans. Edited by Reza, Apr 4 2015, 10:46 PM.

Alright boys and girls. Isopropyl alcohol did the trick and stripped everything well ![]() My Styrene + Glue is in the mail for tonight, so, after a soap bath, I'll get to gluing on custom pieces, and then tomorrow, I'll pick up some primer and let'er rip |
