" There's nothing wrong with experimenting with weapons you're not very familiar with. Who knows maybe you're a better shoot than you think you are." Among the weapon slection there where a few extra large rifles too heavy looking to be snipers based on the soviet PTRS-41 and British MK I with a top loading magazine. " These are large caliber anti-tank guns." If a lightweight suit like that Dagger tried to shoot any of those without going prone and deploying the bipod chances are the sheer recoil would knock it off its feet.

" Believe it or not having some second line support is really helpful in a team battle."

Michael Grimme was sat in his room looking at some of the homework he had completed having decided to get on it right away. Life in Japan had been interesting so far to say the least. Sitting back in his chair he leaned back even further and gave a stretch deciding it was break time. Michael had some model kits he could work on or maybe visit one of the websites he frequented. Shaking his head a little he thought of how he had not been very social ever since he got here. Michael had been trying to prove to his parents that he could maintain himself and do well on his own. Maybe he would go outside or maybe he would just turn on the computer and not go meet people the old fashioned way. Second option sounded the best to him at the moment as there was a computer literally right there. Since one of his hobbies was modeling he wondered if there was any clubs or teams around. SIlly question considering how popular gunpla was really. Though never mind that as it is time to surf the virtual world on google chrome! Waiting for his computer to come on was boring as usual and he glanced around his room. Michael looked forward to a future where start up took much less time. Anyways after getting the computer on and then waiting for it to wake up he finally got to the search engine. Now his first search yielded many results so he had to use his searching magic to narrow it down a little. After some tinkering with search words and going through some pages he eventually found himself at a club page. They were the Condor Legion which was a cool name, and by golly did he sure love him a good name. Best part was they were a gunpla club which was something he had been getting further and further into lately ever since he moved over here. He looked up some of the info on it and was surprised to find out it was an all girls club. This was surprising because he had not looked at what kind of school hosted the club. No boys aloud eh? Well he would show em! He can be a girl! Right? Right! It all mattered on the execution and if it didn't work he doubted many would remember him for long. Well he hoped that at least but there was no use in staying on what might happen.

So he immediately set about making himself like that of a girl which one might find odd since he just had this stuff in his closet. But there is no need to question why, right? Well okay, see he sometimes likes to feel pretty but keeps that a secret for obvious reasons. He had gotten pretty good at it he thinks at the very least. Really it's a long story that we don't have time for right now, and no he isn't that crazy. So he goes about doing his hair and putting on a very modest amount of makeup. He made sure not to over do it as that might give him away on this stealth mission. Okay yes, sometimes he goes on his so called 'stealth missions' in this get up. Putting on a little hair bow for style sake in his now neatly well done hair he gave himself one final look over. After that he put on some fake modest bumps and some new clothes on. White blouse, black sweater vest, and a black skirt with the sweater vest having some personal touch to it. With the shoes on there was only one last part he had to get right. That last part being sneaking out of his room without anyone noticing. He was about to begin that part when he realized that he had not practiced his voice. Clearing his throat he practiced a little and gave a nod.

With some patience he eventually got out of his room without anyone noticing. He had a few essential tools with him including two separate school IDs. Let me tell ya something, getting the second ID with him in this outfit was no light under taking. Though he was fairly certain the person who made the IDs had gotten stranger requests. Well anyways now looking like a girl, walking like a girl, and talking like one to he headed off for Torrington Academy remembering the directions he had obviously gotten in another web search. One thing he had made sure bring with him was his new MS-06FZ Zaku II Kai gunpla. It was something he had been working on as of late and the inspiration had come from watching 0080: War in the Pocket. It wasn't completed yet and he still had to choose which of the two heads he was going to use for it. So after getting passed some 'high security' he eventually got to the club where he stared at the door for a brief moment. He put on a light smile and gave the door a light knock for politeness sake and then entered."This is the Condor Legion Gunpla club right?" he asked in his practiced voice as he stepped in. He made the look work and hopefully he didn't screw up and blow his cover.

One of the first things that catched the attention of anyone stepping into the COndor Legion club room where most certainly the posters that Misaki had personally selected to adorn the walls. The girls attention was momentarily directed at the door as it was opened up by Micheal posing as a girl. From the looks of it that advertisement the school placed on the internet seemed to bring yet another new arrival.

Misaki was pleased to see another foreign cutie interested in joining their ranks. By now she was probably the only fully japanese member which was no reason to complaint, after all culturally diverse Gunpla teams where a surefire way to earn more attention than any other. It also help they where all girls or so she thought ...

" Welcome!" Greeted the dark haired girl standing up from her seat while Yuuka and Mei Ling discussed the weaponry available. as the club leader it was up to her to greet any new arrivals. " indeed we are." Surely the models on display at the shelve and in the table being worked on would be enough og a clue by now. A round of introductions was in order and Misaki gave away her name , allowing the others to introduce themselves to this new arrival who looked slightly nervous.

Yuuka was continuing to contemplate the arsenal of weapons at her disposal when the sound of the door suddenly opening interrupted her concentration. A bit frustrated she looked up from her work, only to see a.. really cute, nervous looking girl, or at least she was fairly certain she was a girl, standing in the entrance. Perhaps it was because of the distance between them but as she looked towards the new arrival she couldn't help but feel as if the girl's face seemed a little bit boyish, though honestly it only made her look cuter. Anyways despite her frustration at the interruption she was glad for the opportunity to make another friend. "Hey there, name's Yuuka Mahiro." she introduced herself to the girl with a smile and a wave before turning back towards her work.

"Maybe I should step outside of my comfort zone a little.." she mused under her breath. Having a bit of ranged support definitely would be helpful in a team battle and she knew that it would be useful for occasions when she couldn't just rush in nor just run around looking for openings. The problem was most of the longed ranged weapons were really heavy. "That definitely would be a good idea.. but what would something as lightweight as the Dagger actually be able to reliably use..'

Mei-ling rummaged about in the pile, managing to find what appeared to be a pistol she slid it over in front for Yuuka to see.

"How about this one?" She would say, holding it up. "It's one of the spare beam pistols we have for Sia's Victory. It's small, lightweight, easy to use and good for the ranges you'll find yourself within."

Further explanation would have followed had it not been for the fact she now had to introduce herself to yet another new, potential member of the club. Standing up, Mei-ling pulled off the orange safety glasses around her eyes and strode over to the second new girl; reaching out with a hand to grasp and shake hers.

"Hello, my name is Mei-ling. It's nice to meet you." She would initiate, looking about for some sort of identification with her eyes over the girl's clothing before relenting. "Your name, class and Gunpla, please?" The older girl would say, smiling as she went about the application process for the illustrious club leader.

Michael sure did notice the posters Misaki had set up which had briefly made him wonder if this was actually the history club or soothing. But it was indeed the club room of the condor legion. However seeing the models on display made him realize this was indeed the correct room, that and Misaki telling him. He greeted Misaki in return with a nod and a slightly more confident smile. He would no doubt look over to Yuuka as she greeted him and introduced herself to him. He gave another nod acknowledging her as well liking the feeling of this place so far. Though he had to be ready to abort and not let his guard down at any moment. When Mei-ling strolled on up to him he saw her reach out to shake hands with his and thus gently reached out in return with his decently soft hands. Moisturizer always helps make his hands feel soft preferring them that way. Just another little thing about him he supposed he didn't really think much about. You shouldn't think about it either, trust me when I say that. When Mei-ling introduced herself he continued with her smile from before."Nice to meet you as well, I am Jacie Grimme." she would say without skip or pause having that be his secondary name for when in this form he is."I am a College Freshman and the Gunpla I have is the MS-06FZ Zaku II Kai. Still working on it though, but it will be ready soon." he would say.

Misaki had no doubts regarding Jacie's gender. After all no male with any shame would wear a skirt and look good in it. While Mei Ling took care of registering the new arrival her attention turned to Yuuka who seemed much more confident about trying something different for a change. " you're right these might be too heavy. the beam pistols are nice too but low output beams dont have a whole lot of punch. How about one of These?" It was a compact 100mm which employed a box magazine. " One of the perks of large caliber guns is that when you take shell drop, gravity and wind resistant int account you can lead your shots farther than beams since particle weapons usually dissipate after travelling a certain distance." Plus the stock could also be folded for more accurate shooting stance. When it came to comparing armament types the girls of the Condor Legion would be able to talk about it for days straight.

" A monoeye, huh? you're welcome to sit with us and finish it. we usually meet here after classes, though right now some of our senior members are absent." Having more dedicated members was everything Misaki had dream off when she started the club.

"Nice to meet ya, Jacie." Yuuka said, this time without looking towards the girl in question. As far as she was concerned there were no doubts towards Jacie's gender as A. she was much too cute to be a boy and B. no respectable male would be able to wear an outfit like that and pull it off.

With that out of the way she turned her attention back to the weapons, considering any and all options. "A beam pistol definitely would be nice but.. they lack punch. That 100mm on the other hand..' she trailed off, looking over the weapon that Misaki had placed before her. "Would probably be a bit more suitable to my tastes. Still though.. I could pack a beam pistol as backup. It's definitely something to at least keep in mind." She spoke with a smile and a nod. She was having fun right now and glad that they were helping her out. With a group like this, maybe she really could gain more confidence and even then become much less shy.

Plus now.. they were about to have one more member. "Misaki's right, Jacie. Come and have a seat."

Mei-ling reached over and cupped the girl's cheeks with her hands, smiling happily as she leaned over and pulled her into a brief hug, quickly relinquishing her as she guided the new girl by the hand to the seat indicated by Misaki.

"Welcome to the club, Jacie Grimme, College Freshman of the Gunpla MS-06FZ Zaku II Kai," She would say along the way. "As Misaki says, make yourself at home and pull out that wonderful machine. We have tools, paint, parts, plates and plenty of refreshments to go around. So come by whenever you want."

Her warm welcome having finally ended, Mei-ling returned to her seat and slid the safety glasses back on. Picking up the fine-edged blade she began the painstaking process of carving intricate lines into the base shield, making room for decals and stickers.

With the warm welcome from the members of Condor Legion and discussion on modeling 'Jacie' Grimme felt decently comfortable. He also liked how they were so quick to wish to include him. Now he felt he had made the correct choice despite the inherit risk involved. He looked forward to finishing his gunpla with them. When Mei-ling reached to him and cupped his cheeks he blinked but that turned into a smile in return especially when he was pulled into a hug. Now being guided by the hand Jacie followed Mei-ling over to the others."Thank you." he would say now watching as she took a seat. At that Jacie took a seat as well and took the MS-06FZ Zaku II Kai from the bag and then set the box down before taking it out of the box. It was nearing completion and one thing he had to pick was the type of helmet. Still had some work to do on it and so far 'Jacie' had done some of the fitting and sanding. Also comming out of the box were all the weapons the MS-06FZ Zaku II Kai could equip. With that he would begin the not so daunting task of putting the rest of it together doing a straight assemble for now. Jacie planned on making this an ongoing project of theirs.

Now that it had all been said and done Misaki returned to the task of painting one of the three mobile armor attachments for the REGZ. Using a handbrush and two different tones of grey paint she started by applying a light coat of paint to each wing. The control surfaces where split by masking tape which helped her draw a line between the two tones. Her hands where covered in purple latex gloves to ensure no paint would stain her delicate hands. By now her REGZ stood up stripped off its previous woodland camouflage paint and coated in primer.

Next to her there was a sheet of watermarks depicting black german crosses and Emblems belonging to the Luftwaffe. While the paint dried up the raven haired girl employed another brush to apply the finishing touches to the cannon pods that would be mounted underneath each wing. The conical muzzle brake was made out of metal as well which would greatly decrease the chances of the barrel wearing off after firing repeated discharges from its lethal armor piercing composite rigid ammunition.

Each Gunpod carried twelve rounds and its overall weight was such an offset in performance Misaki had to remove the nose beam particule gun and twin linked beam armament from the back weapon system in order to keep the frame airworthy. Instead the nose on this unit was now equipped with an improved sensor suite merely for the purpose of increasing the accuracy of each anti tank gun. There where two other mobile armor attachments primed and ready to be painted but for now she would focus her attention on this one.

Now that that was done and the others had begun to return to their own projects Yuuka realized that perhaps it was about to get started on something of her own. Letting out a deep breath she reached into her bag again, pulling out two boxes, one being a simple metal case used to store scraps and spare parts and the other was the still unopened box of the model that she had bought the other day. She had been so busy with her part time jobs, that had for some reason called her in on Sunday that she hadn't even had a chance to open the box, much less work on anything.

Now though was the perfect chance to at least get started on her own little project, re-equipping her gunpla and making use of this tank to help further power it. "Alright, let's get started." she mused to herself as she began to lay everything that she would need out in front of her. This was certainly going to be a fun little project.

'Jacie' Grimme contiued sanding parks, snipping stubs, fitting pieces, and snapping all the pieces together of his MS-06FZ Zaku II Kai. He didn't rush, and he made sure to do things correctly. Michael worked slowly, carefully, and with precision wanting to get it right the first time so that they wouldn't have to go back later. Whilst he did this he was rather silent with a look of concentration on their face. Obviously he was into the whole putting things together part. Other types of modeling before this had conditioned it to be such. He considered getting some paints out but decided just the basic assembly would be good enough for now. With some time and patience he eventually came to a choice, that choice being between the a-type head and b-type head. Michael stared at them both for a moment considering them both. Giving a nod he decided on the basic head for now noting he could go back and change it later if he wanted to. Next was the part in which he put the basic details on which didn't take to long. At the end of it his gunpla now stood there as he fitted some of the weapons to it figuring out what went where and how. Though some tweaks for quality could be made just like anything really. He smirked looking at it before deciding to put it in a little pose.

While the paint on her own kit dried up Misaki turned to check the latest arrival new kits. " We're getting a pretty nice collection so far. Grunt mobile suits are simply the best." It was so refreshing to see that both Yuuka and Jacie where manning Daggers and the Zaku Kai. " in my opinion mass produced machines like these are the real stars of the shows. After all real wars where fought and won by run out of the mill production models, prototypes in real life where flawed and incomplete weapons that almost never made it to the front lines.

" Maybe just maybe have you thought about giving them a custom paintjob" Being an enthusiastic military Otaku Misaki liked to use schemes used by real world militaires believing art should imitate life, not to mention they looked so badass and inspiring choosen over practical application over flamboyant flair.

Yuuka nodded in agreement with Misaki as she gently opened the box of the tank model and began to lay the pieces out in front of her, setting aside what she may need and putting everything else back in the box for now. "I've always preferred the grunts myself, the little guys that fought the majority of the battles on the front lines. They're simply the greatest." It was true, between that and the fact that SEED had been a personal favorite it had been an easy choice for her to start manning a Dagger.

In response to Misaki's question she tilted her head slightly to the side as she thought it over a moment. "Not really, though now that I think about it that may be a nice idea. I dunno what I would do though."

Even as she spoke though, she couldn't help but let her gaze wander over to Jacie who seemed to be hard at work, evidently absorbed in their work. She didn't speak to 'her' though, she just silently watched the 'girl' work, honestly amazed that someone could be able to get so deep into their work.

'Jacie' wondered for a brief moment what else 'she' could do with the Zaku II Kai and was about to put it into another pose or adjust it further when 'she' heard Misaki. 'She' looked up from 'her' work and to Misaki as she spoke giving a slight nod and a soft smile at her words. 'Jacie' agreed that the grunt suits were the true stars and it helped that the grunts were always 'her' favorite. When Misaki mentioned giving it a customized paint job 'she' looked back to the gunpla. 'She' stared at it and after a few moments imagined how it would look with touch up work and a few decals. 'Jacie' smiled at the thought of how cool it could look."I hadn't thought of it before, but now I think that I certainly should." 'She' said with a pause."I'll keep it relatively green though." 'Jacie' said staring at it a moment longer before picking the gunpla up. 'She' began to examine it entirely to figure out the best way of going about this. Maybe taking it apart to paint it would be the best option.

" If I where you i'd pick my favorite colors and just go with it. We could help you out making it look good, of course." Was the only advise she could give Yuuka in regards to applying custom colors to her Gunpla. It was apparent the blonde was fully intent on applying pieces of the T-34/85 to the Dagger design. " You know maybe you could attach a set of tracks to each feet." Those wide tracks it employed where known to ease travel on rough, muddy or snowy terrain historically speaking. " Maybe try a soviet tank camouflage and a cute red star in the shoulder."

Next up was Jacie's Zaku Kai which looked neatly built. " i'd advise washing it first since the plastic comes with a coating of chemical they put on the factory that prevents paint from sticking at first." Since the other foreign girl had a better idea what to do all she could do was provide some sort of practical advise to make it ease for Jacie.

Yuuka slowly nodded in regards to the suggestion given as she put the boxes back in her bag for the moment so that they wouldn't get in the way. She most definitely did fully intend on applying pieces of the T-34/85 to the Dagger, though attaching the tracks was one thing that she actually hadn't thought of. It was definitely a good idea though. "Attaching a set of tracks to each foot is a pretty good idea. It would be a definite help with certain terrain, especially something like mud or snow. Also, that color scheme isn't a bad idea, I think that it would look pretty nice."

"I gotta say Misaki, you really know your stuff. You've been a real big help so far. I don't think that I would have been able to think of a lot of this stuff on my own." She spoke, looking towards her black haired friend with a smile. She certainly was impressed by how much the girl seemed to know about this stuff.

Not very often was Misaki knowledge praised. After all club presidents had to be resourceful but the girl never expected anything in exchange of the advises provided as evident on the way her face turned red. " oh so you're into the whole military look as well? You don't seem like the type." Judging by Yuuka's personality it was more likely she would rather pick a flashy colorful scheme for the dagger as opposed to standard issued paint given to Soviet conscripts with the life expectancy of a weekend. " The normal paint was a dull green with some extra details like drawings, Cyrillic inscriptions or Guard Badges." For better understanding Misaki stood up grabbbing a picture book she kept on the shelves about fmaous armored vehicles in order to further illustrate what she meant Some examples Where complimented with text and few other details., For obvious reasons the examples where all from the same model of tank Yuuka picked up. If it was up to Misaki she would spend the rest of the day proposing different tones.

'Jacie' looked at 'her' gunpla for a moment before hearing Misaki once more. 'She' looked over to her and gave a nod upon being told about the chemical coating."Did not know that, thanks would of been bad if I had painted it and the paint where to come off." she said with a smirk rubbing the back of her head."Thinking of putting a skull and crossbones sort of decall on the shield maybe even the forehead. Then I think I will look up some military type ones to put on." 'she' would say before looking back t the gunpla and giving it a thought.
