Historical battles.

Ok fellas i'm asking you all if you'd be interested in making a re-enactment PVP battle event. i'm open for suggestion and do bear in mind the mobile suit selection would be limited by the actual mobile weapons that fought in said battle. Naturally there would be BG bonus available for participants.

I would be interested! Would our characters need to build a kit for the battle in order to participate? Do you have any battles in mind, or would you like to do a poll and decide them every week?

Maybe do a month of One Year War battles, from Battles of Odessa to Solomon. Next month we could cycle up to Gryps Incident, then Neo Zeon War, etc. We could also shift from UC to battles from other eras like Gundam 00, Gundam X, Gundam Wing. Just depends on how you want to do that, either by voting or deciding a different theme for each month.

Stock mobile suits would be provided depending on the team you choose. considering the mass produced nature of these mobile suits they would all be basic stock in configuration.

So far the options are:

Operation Rubicon: GM cold types vs. Hygoggs and a Z'gok'E at the south pole. Zeon players must destroy the shuttle containing the unassembled Alex Gundam before its launched.

Battle of Odessa: GM ground type, Guntak assault vs. Zaku IIE, Gouf Custom, Doms. This time EF players must breaktrough the massive zeon defenses protecting Odessa mining operations.

if you guys have any other historical renactments please post em here and we'll vote on which one we could do.

Colony Battle 0080: GM Command (Ground Type) vs Zaku II Kai, Rick Dom II- Inside the colony in a civil sector. EFSF have to force the Zeon out of the Colony, via retreat or destruction.

Colony Battle 2 0080: GM (Command Space Type) vs Zaku II Kai, Rick Doms II, 1 Gelgoog Jager - Zeon must survive a set number of rounds (simulate the stealth team infiltrating the colony)

Zeonic Front Jaburo Battle: 1 Mudrock Gundam Completed, GM Ground, GM vs Zaku II, Gouf, Dom - Zeon must destroy/disable the Mudrock Gundam

Thoroghbred Mission: Gundam Unit 4, Gundam Unit 5, Guncannons, GMs vs Gelgoogs, Doms, Zaku II - Federation must protect the GP04 long enough for it to fire the mega beam launcher at the Zeon fleet.

Those are some that come to mind, I got more but I need to work out the rules better to fit each type of battle.

Majority rules. we'll begin once this ongoing tournament has been wrapped up. all I need to do is submit the mechanical profiles for the GM command types and various Zeon suits. as per rule ONLY ONE player would get the Gelgoog Jager. yup command suits are limited to one per team leader.

Just thought about it, what if we made it a series of battle after the Gundam 0080 Genre? So like this

Antarctic Base Battle - GM Cold Types vs Hygoggs, 1xZ'Gok E - Federation must defend the shuttle carrying the Alex Gundam parts till it launches. Zeon must blow up the shuttle before it launches.

Colony Battle 1 - GM Command (Ground) vs Zaku II Kai, Rick Dom II - Federation need to drive the Zeon out of the civilian center. Zeon need to eliminate the Federation Forces and retreat.

Colony Battle 2 - GM Command (Space) vs Zaku II Kai, Rick Dom II, 1xGelgoog Jager - Zeon need to survive X amount of turns for the win, while Federation needs to eliminate the Zeons.

What if Scenario "Destroy the Alex Gundam!" - 1xAlex Gundam, GM Command (Ground), 2xGM Sniper 2, 2xMP Guncannons vs 1xKampfer, Zaku II Kai, Rick Dom II - Federation needs to destroy the Zeon Forces, Zeon needs to destroy the Alex Gundam.

Thats fine and dandy, m8. you guys wouldnt mind fighting in suits with no known stats? I mean lets face it performance among OYW era suits is roughly similar the only difference being weaponry so I can post the list of mobile suits available here with just a pic and weaponry list assuming all of you are already aware of their capabilities would that be fine with everyone else?
