Away dates! Just a note- activity is subject to change. In general, I have volunteering, artwork and social concerns to balance. In the summers I usually go somewhere. When school is active, I have a lot more work to deal with too-- I take somewhere between 12-15+ credits, and I'm pursuing a rigorous BFA. This means that sometimes I'm busy, and am gone without notice. Sometimes that's for weeks. Sometimes, I can't give warning. I promise that I will do what I can and that I will post when I'm available, but that's all I can do. My real life is more important then my virtual life. As much as I'd like to post weekly, I may have to be one of those players that's only around on school breaks. Similarly, though this is less of an issue, please don't be offended by my activity level on multiple games. Some of my favorite games I'm slowest on, just because they make me think more and require more concentration in my posts. If I'm not around, chances are that I'm dealing with school or RL. 8/27-28 Maryland has already, today the 24th, has already declared a state of emergency for the upcoming hurricane. it's supposed to hit on saturday and sunday. I'm slightly worried. Blackouts are expected, too, and they're likely to last awhile. SO. If I disappear starting this weekend, it's probably that. Wish me luck and safety. I hope anyone else caught up in it, especially those more closer to it's epicenter, are safe and secure as well! August 31: school starts
Before leaving for pittsburg it became obvious that the bugs weren't quite gone. Severely diminished, but still present. I killed two live ones, and four more managed to trap themselves in the traps we have under the posts of our bed. To anyone dealing with or who has to deal with bed bugs in the future, climbup traps are useful. At the very least, they let your exterminators/management company know where they're coming from (which they'd've known if they had listened to me from the first place, but now we have proof.)
This means more sprays, and that means longer until I can get my main/art computer out. I'm going to try not to be as scarce, because I'm not quite so concerned with them infesting my electronics now that there's so few of them, and thus I'm willing to have my laptop out. Also, I need the moral support/the distraction of playing pern games. At this point, school starts in two weeks, and I'm pretty severely freaking out because there isn't a space in our apartment right now that can comfortably accommodate a 18x24 pad of paper-- kind of a problem for an art major.
Anyway, because of this, and the fact that this supposedly 3-week process has ended up taking 3 months, and some other BS from my management company, we're going to move out. That's the real purpose of this update. The next week at least, we have appointments with apartment complexes nearby here in the afternoons to come and see what they'll offer us. That may affect my posting. We're also hopefully going to get to unpack some before school, which will probably result in a minor disappearance since it'll be a bit of a crunch- and that's if we're lucky and we can unpack at all. I'll probably be able to drop a specific update when that happens, though.
First thing's first. I got a new aim Address: Dadacheshire. Spammers were really getting to me, so I went ahead and did a change. The bed bug scenario: The exterminators came and checked, and he declared us 90% bed bug free. Apparently they can't survive with as much stuff as they sprayed around, and the ones that are left are coming from this pile o' crap that was in the middle of the bedroom. He has officially signed off.
Meanwhile, we spent 8 hours at the laundromat cleaning all of our clothes, and we can look forward to trashing all of our wooden furniture and cooking everything we own in this miniature oven called a packtight, so that we don't take them with us when we move.
Speaking of that- we're planning a move. But it will occur at earliest in december. :3 And until then, we're going to be baking everything, so it hopefully won't be an all-day sort of thing. It may affect my activity, but with luck, it will only do so minimally, and closer to december.
I'm still a little worried about the bed bug thing, but there's really not much we can do at this point, but heat treat everything, throw everything we can't treat out, and gtfo.
We did manage to start unpacking, though, today and yesterday, which is why I haven;t been so much around There's a little bit less to do, but not that much more. 8D
My art computer is also officially back up, so anyone waiting for art from me may now expect toget some of it.
I think that's everything, but for the fact that school starts in less then a week. I'm really hoping to be able to stick around through the school year, and I certainly don't intend to leave, but my activity may become patchy once more, as it frequently does when school is in session.

Also, I've just been told that this saturday, a hurricane is suppose to hit us. Maryland has already declared a state of emergency. It's teh second week of school, and I'm already freaking out pretty hardcore. This is not really a good sign, considering that things typically only get heavier from here.
As usual, I'm going to try my best to be around. There will probably be periods later in the semester where I'm not around, but I'll be back on breaks. Bear with me. <3
Here's my list o' obligations: Sunday: afternoon obligations, that may go into the evening. Hopefully light. This is my recharge day. Monday: 11am to late evening. I have no idea. Tuesday: 7am to evening, but I'll probably be bra**indead. Wednesday: 11am to late evening. Thursday: 7am to evening, probably be braindead. Friday: 12pm to evening. Will be on in evenings, but probably not posting. Saturday: Evening obligation.
So yeah. NOT a lot of time this semester. I like to try to get up early on days where my stuff starts at like 11, and post some in the mornings.. but rarely can I get to everything, and I also like to sleep in sometimes, which interferes with the getting up early thing. ._. I also have some kind of issue with exhaustion, that I'm trying to get diagnosed, so... yeah.
