The attendance yesterday was very disappointing but it was still the 2nd best in the League (all 3 divisions).
That has made me feel a lot better after seeing yesterdays attendance. Just goes to show that non-league in general is facing tough times.

Not just non-league Mark .... 1954 at Plainmoor yesterday of which around 200 were away fans.

Not a good home turn out when the break even figure 4 years ago was 3500.

Very worrying to see less than 300 at the game on Saturday and in general low gates everywhere. Strangers v Nunny only 529.

Not sure what the problem is, but this will cripple many clubs (more than it has already) and it seems that NL must undergo a radical overhaul at some point or more clubs will vanish.

How on earth did Windsor run up debts of £250K as reported in NLP??

Apart from St Neots v Kings Lynn in the United Counties League which pulled in a crowd of 1,481!

A good point that Scott made is that it effectively Sky killing it by putting on live matches almost every day of the week.

It is worrying and underlines the need for supporter involvement. Hopefully we will be able to reverse this worrying figure through the successes of the supporters association.

a) Good question, it staggers me that NL clubs can run up these debts.... though, to be fair, if we were reliant on gate income alone, without our generous benefactor, we'd be in deep doo-doo.....

b) We may have to stop the live updates, Twitter and online match highlights to persuade the armchair fans to get back to Keys Park....??

 :D
