It would be rude not too!! Illness not generally required for medicinal measures!
Man after my own heart!
All is not lost!!

My new laptop has arrived today so finally I am out of the steam age! So all is not lost - a glass of single malt and enjoying re-living Quinns goal against Truro on the highlights thread - Magic!

Single malt too ... even better!

Currently working through some excellent Glengoyne 10-year old from Christmas!

A man of taste!

I have an understairs cellar of note, island malts and speysides are particular favourites, just gone from a 12-yr old Glenlivet to a Talisker. If i manage a Jura before the close of play the flu will just be a hazy memory! (so if the spoiling starts to suffer!)

Only one way to dilute a scotch - add another dram!

In my past life I spent 10 years on a small coastal tanker around the Hebrides and the West Coast of Scotland.

Tasted many a malt in some delightful little bars on various islands: Skye, Tiree, Harris, Benbecula & Lewis to name a few.
Each has some malts that are very hard to find down south.

The Talisker distillery is well worth a visit!

And it was all going so well!! Not only have they scored but my missus has jus tuned into that bloody gypsy weddings programme - more malt required at this end!

Scotland by distillery is a marvellous experience! The latest on my list is the Cragganmore - coming home with a distillers special "port cask". In homage to my visits to Skye, I have a greyhound named Talisker!

An excellent website: Malts

The Te Bheag is one of my favourites even though it is blended!
