Zak Jones. 22 Years old Not much found out about him, because I don't think he has played many first team games!!

(from soccerbase)

Forest Green 13 Aug 10 - 01 Jun, 11 Free No appearance data available
Stockport 14 Sep 07 - 14 Oct 07 Loan No appearance data available
Southampton 24 Nov 05 - 01 Jan 06 Loan No appearance data available
Blackburn 01 Jul 05 - 31 May 08 Trainee No appearance data available

Read somewhere, but can't think where, he was an England Youth International though.

His brother Luke was at FGR last season too.

Anymore for anymore!!

Cliff Moyo had a better game in midfield yesterday than he did in defence on Saturday, but thats what friendlies are for. Experimenting and testing and trying new ideas and players.

I expect games against Worcester & Truro to be more representative of a starting team for the league campaign.

My spies/Twitter suggest that McAuley is ex-League of Wales - afraid I can't shed much light on him

http://www.welsh-premier.com/index.php/component/playersearch/form/313/search

Two there, but precious little info about either

Sorry Jas, missed your post - Lee est 300, I subsequently heard 500 at Keys Park which included lots of kids and a decent away following

but only 250 at Strangers v Tammuff

Decent crowd, the free admission played its part.Warrington fans made their presence felt giving plenty of vocal support.I like the look of the new strip and it seemed that a number were bought by the supporters.
The game was competetive and whilst we always seemed in control and could have scored more,Warrington had their chances too.Chris Shaw was steady at the back and should do well,on what I saw I don't think the trialists shone as well as they would have liked but it must have been very hot out there.
The "handbags" event livened things up a bit but overall a decent workout and I would imagine Rob and Larry still have some positions to sort out but we are on the right track and I think we will do OK.
This is going to be a tough league to get out of but it should be a good season particularly with some "proper" local derbies.

Brief report here from Warrington

http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/warringtontown/news/wire-come-unstuck-348399.html

Have to confess I hadn't studied their PSF form so hadn't realised they came undefeated, which may help put a narrow win into context...

... but of course as we all know PSF results count for nowt anyway, come 13 August...

And a very good player Sam Finlay was too, a small 'terrier' of a midfielder with loads of ability.

For our part it was good to see Chris Shaw having a run out for the first time after his wedding and he looked pretty solid.
On the triallists front it was former Airbus UK midfielder Phil Clarke who shone and looked a very tidy midfiled player. Former million pound player Pedro Monteiro is an obvious talent but needs more work to reach match fitness.
Elliott Durrell was a handful when making a cameo 20 minute appearance in the second half.

I am confident that the squad that Rob and Larry are putting together is much stronger than at the start of last season and will need to be for the tough start to the season that we will be facing.

I just googled Pedro Monteiro and got a Brazilian butterfly swimmer. I presume it's not him.
So more likely to be Pedro Miguel Cardoso Monteiro aka Pele who made 24 appearances for WBA from 2007-2009.
