City Mechanics

1) Taverns:
Gambling Games (Open to: Anyone) →
Big Gnomic One (against NPCs), pure gambling that one's own card (unknown to player) is higher than every other player's card (known to player). Cheating in this game is allowed if and only if multiple player controlled characters are involved, and subject to CHA rating. Opp.s may learn of cheating with PER checks, and the penalty is forfeit of all winnings won in session.
Blackjack (against NPCs) , pure gambling. (Higher payoff, higher risk than Big Gnomic One; standard rules)
Entertaining (Open to: Bards) → May entertain crowds with stories or music, leaving instrument case open for tips.
Information (Open to: anyone) → may attempt to obtain information from Bartender.

2) Banks:
Robbing (Open to: Rogues) → Subject to DM discretion. (Discuss at time of plan.) At least one player involved in robbing plot must be a rogue. Definitely changes player alignment towards chaos, and against most victims, towards evils as well.

3) Shops:
Cities may have shops not available to players in hometown. Purchasing mechanic is the same. (Roll for appraise, roll for barter.) Specialty shops with specialty items may also be available in select cities. (For example, want something quite specific, such as armor for your pet? Etc.)
