Anyone impressed with this? I wasnt. Come on, E-Hero Divine Neos and Wiseman both Secret? While I know the effect is decent but lets face it... Only a kid gonna play with them. Oh, heres a surprise, an anime card was made! Now, I know Divine and Wiseman are anime cards too but they were slightly different in the anime. One of those being Wiseman was a fusion. Now then, Time Machine I believe was left unchanged from anime (Other than in Yugioh!, it was a spell compared to ours, which is a trap). Oh, looka here, our FIRST secret rare GB monster thats NOT a fusion... Too bad the effect doesnt warrant it. Removes a card from the opponents grave when its specialed from the effect of a GB... Wow..... Most of the key cards can chain (IE: Mezuki) and now with Imperial Iron Wall, not only is it stopped but it combos EXTREMELY well with Plaguespreader Zombie (With Imperial Iron Wall in play, you can return Plaguespreader Zombie and use him for synchro. Normally, Plaguespreader Zombie RFG after the effect is used but with Imperial Iron Wall in play, Plaguespreader Zombie hits the graveyard like normal, allowing infinite special summoning of this guy). Plaguespreader Zombie, lvl 2 tuner, the savor of Lightsworns..... Bull is what I say... When Plaguespreader Zombie is in the grave, you can return one card from hand to special summon him to the field. After this effect resolves, if he is removed from the field at all, he is Removed From Game. Its my belief that this card wont help Lightsworns AT ALL..... Sure, it you can put a Wulf from hand to deck for milling, put lets face it. His ONLY use is for defense OR synchro summoning. And if you think about it, Lightsworns are mostly lvl 3-4. Their biggest and most played monster, Celestia, is only a lvl 5 (Their lil pet dragon may be a 6, but is it worth putting in such a crap card for a lvl 8 synchro?). The ONLY synchro that would be useful for this is the lvl 7 synchro, Black Rose Dragon. Black Rose Dragon, lvl 7 Synhro with 2400/1800 stats, well, kills everything on the field, just like Judgment Dragon, but with ONE slight difference..... Black Rose Dragon kills itself too...... What good is this monster if it kills itself the moment its synchro'd? Do you REALLY wanna waste a Monster Reborn just to use this guy? Prolly not if you ask me. And lets not forget about the overall package. This pack looks completely crap if you ask me. We got eight synchros, 2 of which NEED PSZ, one NEEDS a nontuner spellcaster, one NEEDS nontuner plant. Out of the THREE remaining synchros that arent dependent, TWO are in TINS!!! For those wondering what the synchros are, Ill list them, from dependent to nondependent. Queen of Thorns (1turner+1 or more nontuner plants), Doomkaiser Dragon (PSZ+1 or more nontuner zombies), Revived King Ha Des (PSZ+1 or more nontuner zombies), Tempest Magician (1tuner+1 or more nontuner spellcasters), Turbo Warrior (Turbo Synchron+1 or more nontuner monsters), Psychic Lifetrancer (1tuner+1 or more nontuner monsters), Black Rose Dragon (1tuner+1 or more nontuner) and finally, Iron Chain Dragon (1tuner+1 or more nontuner monsters). Yeah, we got 2 sets I never thought we get. Iron Chain Cards and my favorite (And Ill be making a deck of these guys soon) DEFORMERS (Or as America renamed them, Morphtronic Cards). For those that dont know or havent seen 5D yet, Iron Chain cards have different effects that hurt the opponents deck or field, normally with milling or destruction. Deformers (I prefer the Japanese name over our Americanized name) have 2 effects, depending on their position on the field. For example, Deformer Celfon, while in Attack Position: Once per turn, you can roll 1 six-sided die. Pick up an equal number of cards from the top of your Deck. If there is any Level 4 or lower "Morphtronic" monster(s) among these, you can Special Summon 1 of them ignoring the Summoning conditions. Shuffle all other cards back into your Deck. And while in Defense Position: Once per turn, you can roll 1 six-sided die. Pick up and look at equal number of cards from top of your Deck and return them to top of your Deck in the same order. Overall, this pack doesnt have ANYTHING good in it, outside of Black Rose Dragon (If your playing TeleDaD or you want all 5 Dragons) and Turbo Warrior/Synchron. Turbo Warrior and Black Rose Dragon are coming out in tins, so the ONLY thing youll need is Turbo Synchron, which is easy to find because its rare. It is packs like this that make me wish for the old days back. I mean, before ban list, there were MANY different decks running around, with little to no theme, and did WELL. Now, these packs are supporting themed monsters and just throw in other random crap. It seems to me Konami is either getting lazy, tired of this game or are trying to target the kids now. Sadly, kids arent gonna get into the game unless us, the veterans, leave, or we take apart our precious TeleDaD or Lightsworn decks and try something ORIGINAL and INNOVATED, using some of the cards Konami are giving us......
