Bomber, you are everything that is wrong with this world. Um, hm, I guess I should ask a question to legitimize this post. How glad are you to be playing a game where time travel is not a thing? Also, feel free to discuss how much it sucks. |

u mad bro Seems Colin was confused with the nature of the Pact. He thought it was a full blown alliance. That makes me wonder why he was so ready to accept it then less than an hour into the game. Hmm. I've sent a "hey I get you hate me let's talk about it" PM to Link. I really am honestly trying to work things out with the guy but if he just u wot m8s at me again I'll probably just stop messaging him altogether. I'm a little amused by his backpedaling in Agitha's thread, I guess either he realized he done goofed or someone said something to him. Ruto gets minus points for opportunism there. Expect a Link-Ruto alliance to form off that play, will test for it later. Vaati finally messaged me late last night. Another one-liner type. Sigh. With three easy boot picks it's likely at least one of them will leech onto whichever strong player gives them the time of day first and then hangs around like a quiet cancer for the rest of the game. Challenge is finally tonight omggggggggg this has taken forever mods plz. |

At this point in the game, is placing a Tesseract vote better for the endgame, or do you simply acquiesce to what you think a majority of the tribe will do? Additionally, who wins out of Deadpool and Mystique? |

Tesseract votes are the obvious play at this stage of the game. Also Deadpool is the clear favorite to win it all, there's no way in he'll some loser like Zod will take home the gold. This identity search tho. Am I a leader or a follower? I suppose I tend to vacillate between the two given whatever is happening in the game. At the moment there aren't any obvious threats to me or my "allies" so I'm willing to play noisy and take a leadership role. If something develops that threatens an ally I'll start working to protect them. Once the game really starts I'll probably float to the background until I'm needed again. I think Skullkid is certainly one of the top players, I've heard good things about him without even asking. On the flipside Colin's name hasn't come up once so he's way below the radar. I also think Zelda's demonstrated some early social prowess given the length and ease of our conversation thus far. |

Your link is broken Darunia. I've been thinking about it during challenge downtime Din and I can't come up with much. The only other game I've played in was Doctor Who and I'm told that game was pretty atypical of how these typically go for a number of reasons, one of which was that the twist was actually an incorporated game mechanic instead of something sprung on the players when they didn't expect it. So I'm afraid I don't really know what twists could entail or when they'd happen. If tribe swaps count, I talked about that before, I think one will happen at 21 players and we'll separate into 3 tribes of 7. Beyond that, I dunno... Do these games do hidden immunity idols like the show? Maybe there'll be some way to earn those at some point? Or something slightly less powerful, a way to negate a single vote against you when played? Maybe something more thematic - you could earn a zelda item (hookshot or something I dunno) that aids in a challenge down the road at some point? I'm not very good at this sorry ![]() What do I think of the game so far. Hmm. I think I understand why we had such a long lead-up time to the first challenge but it sure made things difficult for the players - for us socialites who actually put effort into messages anyway. I like that this game had so much going on in public with more cross-tribal interaction. We have a pretty diverse tribe, most of whom I enjoy talking to. We have a couple easy early vote candidates that will allow people to form up alliances that may carry them through the game. We have a very controversial figure in Link that probably has people on both tribes talking. We seem to have strong challenge players in Auru and Skull Kid which may allow us to coast until the first merge/swap thing. I think things are overall pretty comfortable at the moment and the short term looks fine. Medium-to-long-term is much more cloudy. I AM putting in a VERY concerted effort to try to think along those lines more this game, I really want to learn from past mistakes. |

whoa where did this post come from. I swear to god it didn't exist before. blinkblink The time travel thing was such a double edged sword. A point in its favor was that getting eliminated didn't necessarily mean you had lost, you still had a chance and could still affect things in a limited way. The fact that neither of the finalists were ever eliminated probably speaks to how much that actually mattered at the end. Here? One fuckup and you're done. There's no zombie Jacks running around here, his ass is in the ground round 2 and that's that. Can you deny he didn't add to the game despite the fact he should have been dead a buried at the start of it? Personally I think his story was the most compelling and it'd have been impossible without the mechanic. But it sure added to the stress level. Good god did it ever. Now my stress level is in a heightened sense of paranoia. Am I REALLY safe? Did I attract TOO MUCH attention with my antics and make myself a target? :/ It'll certainly be fun to compare the two experiences once this game is done. I fixed the banner.

Zant has Ants in his Pants We're getting near the end of the first challenge, and what better time to ask more questions? How well do you think your tribe as a whole preformed at today's challenge? Is that fortune (good/bad) likely to continue into the next challenge? If you were to lose and go into the first tribal council, who do you see pushing for their preferred vote and how many votes will they gain for it? |

History sure does like to repeat itself doesn't it? Knowing who Princess Ruto is, I was pretty sure this was going to be the outcome. Next challenge will probably not be math-based and we should do better. Indications from pretty much everyone willing to talk shop have been that Tingle will be the vote. There are also a couple Link votes floating around out there. I expect Tingle to go unless he's been making alliance deals which I find extremely unlikely given how unapproachable he is. Unless I'm nuts I don't think anybody's going to care that he's leaving so this should be an easy TC. |

{Challenge 01} In which you have just lost your first challenge and are heading to TC: 1) Prior to this challenge, had there been any talk about a vote just in case you guys DID go to TC? 2) In your challenge loss, is there someone (or someones) you blame more than everyone else? 3) Do you think challenge performance will have any bearing on people's standing within the tribe? If so, how, specifically? 4) After the challenge and the reveal that you were going to TC, who was the first person to PM you? What did you discuss? |

Tribal council is a very grave situation, so good luck with it. Do you think Princess Ruto has dug her own grave by taking such a prominent position in the challenge discussion and then losing? Do you think there was a hole in her strategy, or was it just bad luck? Are you considering other options as well, or is it just a tunnel vision and the only real option is to ditch Tingle here? Fill me in on your thoughts, I'm going to delve in some other material while I wait for your response! No I don't have friends |

Zelda and I both would like Link gone. Neither of us want to deal with his BS long-term. As a sidenote, I've been prodding Ruto on the Link issue and there's definitely a connection there. I'm going to assume their aligned unless something proves otherwise. Arrite, on to Din's stuff. 1. Oh yes indeed. Most of my PMs have kind of fallen into a similar structure. You got the "current events" section, the "TC vote" section, and the "bullshit" section. Prior to the challenge Tingle, Link and Vaati have all been tossed out as candidates for our first TC, mainly due to their conversational prowess rivaling that of your average grapefruit. 2. Ah, Princess Ruto, how I love thee. Yeah the challenge loss is basically entirely on her because she decided to just take over everything and wouldn't hear a word against her. 3. I actually don't think it will. It might, we may all default Tingle and then keep chatting and look to her instead, but I wouldn't expect that to happen. If the challenge had happened say 24 hours after game start she'd probably be dead in the water but the long lead-in time gave others a chance to make a bad social impression. 4. Ruto ironically was the first person. She said "Hey sorry...I messed up one of the questions :)" and then went full-bore on Tingle. I'd assume she's doing that because Tingle's in a shit position as it is, she royally fucked up with 11 people looking on, and her ally is a dumbass. ilu Bomber. I think I covered everything above, lemme know if I didn't. |

Edit: Misunderstood Zelda I suppose. Seems she prefers Tingle to Link as well. I think Tingle's just gonna be the default vote and we'll move on. |

Huh. I wonder if Link's radio silence means he's making moves against me and Eldin caught wind of it. Maybe he's decided I'm his Ganon this game and wants me dead. I'm not sure how worried I should be if that's the case but once again that feeling that I should be starting some alliance talks is tickling my brain. |

Who's the mastermind? Who's the big threat? We haven't established that yet. Things are still too early to figure out who the big players are. I need to make sure I use it to remove a queen instead of a pawn. |
