I think that there probably weren't enough birds in it. More birds would have helped. |

I think that's just what most newbies know and believe should work. Heck I still think it's a better strategy, but then I'm not social enough to have others. |

It probably is a better strategy, actually. Even though I hate it with a passion. |

The thing about pagonging is that it's a good strategy for the people who're on top of the big alliance. It occurs when they successfully convince the people lower on the totem pole that they are higher than they actually are. The reason it's not a great strategy in general is that it's often difficult to know where you are on that totem pole, and people are REALLY GOOD at convincing you your position is better than it is, so you almost can't even trust your own senses. In addition, if you want to flip, the greater your existing majority is, the more people you have to convince to go with you, which is tough because they probably don't realize any of what I'm saying right now. In addition, it's mindless, and that can be a bad thing. Are you really going to get rid of someone on the other tribe who really likes you and is willing to go to bat for you and be your ace in the hole just because it's easy, over someone from your own tribe you have a lukewarm relationship with? That's not how you win. Even if you correctly perceive you are at the top, it's always possible your underlings may have an epiphany, realize they're idiots, and take you out. If you keep the game less clear, your power can be less obvious, and you may even be able to hide cross-tribal alliances if your friend is smart about it. |

Oh, and this is a minor point, but if the last player on the enemy tribe goes on an immunity run, they will probably win the game. |

Immunity runs are practically non-existant. Aside from that, if you are a Snakes or Betch type of player and no others are in the running, then none of that really matters because they are going to win no matter what. Especially if DV is their closest ally. (Sorry DV if/when you read this, but you know it to be true.) |

@HMS- I can't tell if you having to dart like that is a good thing or not. Like... on the one hand, you get to avoid the hassle of being eliminated and everyone will wonder how far you actually would have gotten On the other, you are out of the game lol.@Ruto- Sorry girl Zelda and I were holding on strong but I was too timid to try and take control. If I had made decisions, I could have still been in there. I really should have just eliminated Dampe. It would have made thing sooooo much easier for me pre-merge.Pagonging are silly and what Malon said is entirely true. It just leads to a massive blob of unsure people who don't really know where they stand and once they have to finally eliminate one of their own, everyone will just panic and gut each other unless there is an obvious head. So another Zora is coming Thats pretty shitty and with Merge coming up soon... its even shittier. Banking on them eliminating Volvagia despite whatever deals she made. There will likely be a push for Zelda too though since "lolthreat"

I've had immunity runs. Then again the most recent one lasted two challenges and was during the tribe phase of the game. |

I mean, in the last... 8 games ish? I count two very real immunity runs that seriously changed the game. |

I had a four-round immunity run in Doctor Who, but that didn't matter with the time travel mechanic. |

That mechanic completely defeated the purpose of immunity. |

Bob and Fabio come to mind. Chris, too, although he was also a great strategist so he probably didn't even need the immunities. |

This. Quite a few people got voted out while winning immunity in the current round (at least that happened to me )

I seem to recall a bit of that. That would make three if it's straight through, though it's not clear he really needed them. Tyrion definitely needed every one though

Okay, I meant full immunity runs. Yeah they can definitely change the game, but if a majority of the game want's a specific player gone, they won't make it to F3. All it takes is one loss, and they're gone. Immunity runs are absolutely not a counter to pagonging. |
