Ya Girl's Openin' Speech![]() Hoy! Tetra here. Two months. Two long, goddamn stressful months I been scrappin' with you folks. It ain't been no chore, trust, I'm hella passionate about Survivor. To finally reach the end after alla the hard work everyone put in with my buddy birdbrain by my side? Fuckin' priceless. Lemme tell ya'll a story real quick, yeah? I was a straight-edge kid back in primary school, real simple-like. Follow the rules, no stealin', no lyin', nothin'. Sat at the boys' lunchroom table alla time since I got along way better with 'em though. ![]() Me n' my crew, cooler'n you My buddy Alvin pops in one brick-ass December mornin' with a pack'a playin' cards. Taught us all this real fun game called BS, see? Most of you've prolly heard'a it before, you've gotta try to lie your way to an empty hand without gettin' caught along the way. Seemed like a fair, even game to a buncha snot-nosed kids, sure. What we didn't get though? Alvin won. Every single fuckin' time he played, Alvin won. We'd count the deck, watch him like owls, the whole lot, but nothin' would give. He was a goddamn celebrity to us, an' on the real rare occasion'a him losin' we'd chalk it up to him feelin' bad for our sorry asses. One day, the guy pulls me over to his side of the table all smooth-like. (Think he had the hots for me) He says, "Wanna see how I do it?" I'm sittin' there, starry-eyes, noddin' my head, but even after the game was over an' the fat lunchlady told us to hop our trays over to disposal, I still didn't get how he'd won. "Listen sug," he pulls me over again (Might'a had a crush on him too but if any'a you squeal I'mma eat you whole) "there ain't no trick, I swear. Look, you can do it too, yeah? Just gotta do two things, listen close." Pointer finger. "One: Never, ever lie unless you gotta." Middle finger. "Two: Get people's to trust ya. Even if they're bullshittin' straight to your face, they gotta, gotta trust ya." With this newfound, kickass knowledge, I set out to prove to Al that I too could be a master of bullshit. Didn't work. Not for a long time, anyway. My poker face was jokes an' I caved to an inch'a pressure. By sixth grade though? I gave the ol' celebrity a run for his money. (Monopoly, gettin' caught with real dosh an' playin' cards meant an instant suspension an' a call home to Ma.) Storytime's over. Struttin' into Hyrule I decided it was high time I give Al's strategy another shot. Opened to most'a the crew on Kokiri stressin' I'ma "no-bullshit" typa person. To a certain extent, that was true. I hate when people ain't straight with me so I aim to be legit an' hope for reciprocation. Bullshit me straight to my jaw though? I ain't gonna be loud. I ain't gonna yell. I ain't gonna call you on your damn pair'a Kings even if I got three'a the damn things in my hand. This is Survivor, that shit'll bite you in the ass. I will, however, remember, an' keepin' tabs on the biggest BSers on a tribe lets me distinguish who I can trust from who I gotta target. That was my gameplan, an' that's exactly how I got to the fuckin' Final 2, fam. ![]() I'mma go a lil' indepth now, for those of ya who ain't into borin' strategy shit just hold tight an' skip to the next pic real quick. Hittin' the beach, Anju babe an' Bugsy both seemed hella chill so we stomped out a core group pronto. Everyone likes Vee? Fire-Dancin' Dragon gets added for good measure. I sit pretty 'till the creepy Mask Boy props a partnership with Nav. Ya girl warily accepted, knowin' that dippin' paws in too many pots was dangerous. With that core an' a friendship with Mido intact, I felt pretty hot. Fast-Forward past Sheik makin' a ham outta himself an' Link bein' a complete loon in public--Bugsy goes AWOL. Completely offa the grid. My best bug gets lined up for fire, an' my next-best friend Anju made a mistake'a proppin' up Navi's buddy Kafei for tribal. With Bugs guaranteed to be the next to go, I knew I needed to re-adjust. With the comin' swap, Nav-Mask as a pairin' felt threatenin' an' their strong connections to Vee, Kafei, an' Chomps didn't leave Anj in a sweet spot. That's when I caught Nav alone in a chat, separated from his offline Mask Boy buttbuddy. Figurin' this was my last shot to make some kinda agreement before a swap, I propped him an alliance of Vee-Him-Mask-Me plus Anj. She was my homegirl, an' I figured this would keep her cozy an' warm if we got swapped off an' away from each other. The shuffle was no surprise, but the boots that came outta it sure were, yeah? Went as far as fixin' my apple count in the Orchard Immunity Challenge to nab Anj that yummy immunity. Props to Chomps for the idol play but goddamn, seein' Anj bite the dust right after was excruciatin'. That's when I decided that an endgame with Nav, Mask Boy an' Vee wouldn't work for me no more. I got real close with Mido boy, Mask, an' Eldino (son I gave this bird relationship advice <3) on Gerudo, as a result I figured they were my tickets goin' forward. Alla them played an important role, HSM confided in wantin' to off Navi come merge, Eldino had connections an' intel on Korok, an' Mido boy was goddamn loyal an' equally anti-Navi. He was hella straight with me so I figured returnin' the favor was key. Outta nowhere, Mask jumped an alliance with me n' Skull before leavin' to go do his thing. Skull was hella chill, but by that point? My boys Eldino an' Mido joined with me to make the cutest alliance ever, reppin' Lost Boys right here son. After Bari babe told me he was real close to Skull, an' Skully let slip that he corresponded lots with Navi an' Horseface, I figured I needed an in with that crew. Thus the doomed-to-fail Tetra-Bari-Skull allegiance incepted, only to be.... never spoken of again LOL With Mido rarin' to boot Nav at merge after he was targetted at the Mask tribal, I believed my position to be secure when Merge was announced. Just one small problem came to mind: I was hella visible. Big characters go quick in early merge, see? That's why I was pretty silent for the beginning of Hylian Tribe, my loud mouth coulda netted me 11th place if I wasn't careful. Boom, Idol. Lines were drawn. I quickly stressed to the opposition that Mido an' Eldino were main proponents of the Nav wagon to make myself look like a baller contact. It was around this point in time that I realized Vee girl was playin' a game similar to mine, real sneaky-like. She openly declared against Nav at 11 yet vehemently sided with him against Colin at 10 with zero typa flak pointed at her. The dragon was in the prime position to win, an' she confirmed it to me when she exposed her gameplan at 10: Take out Eldino an' Mido, then flip with me, Chomps, an' whichever'a Bari or Ponyboy'd be willin' to shack up with us. That wasn't gonna fly. Me? I lost Bugs, Anj an' Mask to circumstance. Now you want me to play dumb while my new best buds hit the shitter? Naw. I figured the best way to stop Vee was to sell to the guy she wanted out later anyway, fairyboy Nav himself. Goin' to him personally though? Just another way to stick the gun to your skull.
Pow. Spotless way to blamelessly remove a big threat to my position, an' hopefully bring Chomps closer to me. I stuck a vote on Horseface an' played the dumbass to everyone (this was goddamn fun) for further effect. My contingency plan? Votes don't come my way if I got bigger threats by my side, an' Eldino was shapin' up to be a real respectful player with that flip. With Chomps aligned to my cause an' a self-vote in Horseface's corner, we looked set headin' into 8. Most'a us know what happened next: Horseface an' Bari babe completely snowed us, convincin' Chomps of their trust, an' proceeded to vote him out instead. Come the next tribal? Same story, after my lucky-ass dice roll of an immunity win an' Eldino's choice Sword lie, Mido kicked the damn can when Horse an' Bari fooled us again. That was the round I started outwardly distancin' myself from Eldino, framin' him as someone distrustful that I "owed". Way I saw it? At 6 one'a us needed immunity an' the other needed the fake sword. Goddamn that first challenge was close, an' Eldino winnin' the re-do was a godsend. I reckon that alla that earlier bussin' came in handy right there. Had Nav or Skully suspected Eldino an' I were hella tight? They mighta not believed the sword bluff. Boom, Final 3 deal with the two'a them. Didn't wanna honor it by any means but again, it was a contingency in case the final bluff next round didn't pan out solid enough to see me to the end. Promised Nav F2 if I won the final immunity, alla that duff. Here came the biggest scare to me an' birdbrain. After I won immunity at the puzzle challenge, we were informed that, holy hell, we can't pass the double vote Eldino won at the auction! From the previous TC we knew Din wasn't lettin' us pass the immunity necklace either, which meant Eldino was screwed even if we forced the damn tie. Everythin' looked hopeless an' lost for us two 'till I came up with one last, solid bluff, the damn ace in the hole: Pretend that Eldino threw over the Dub to me anyway. This turnin' point in the journey marked where I feel my straight attitude with Horseface, Nav, an' Skully finally paid off, they bought the final card, an' the bluff was up. It wasn't over yet, but I felt relatively safe from that point. See, I wasn't targetted at Final 4. Eldino's clutch tiebreaker win was damn impressive, however I would like to point to my safety as a sign of solid endgame positionin'. I got no clue what Eldino did to Skully to warrant Skull bein' bent on knockin' out Eldino at Final 3 as well, but the way I felt it, no matter who won the Final 3 Challenge? I was set to stand here an' present my case to you guys n' gals. ![]() There we go, ya'll can wake up now. That's my story, buckos. Bring on whatever questions you got, an' make 'em tough. I ain't gonna suck your dick, but I will be raw an' real with you, let's get this shit started. |

Hey guys! It has certainly been a while since I have talked with some of you. I am looking forward to catching up and reminiscing over the season when we get out of here. This has been truly been an amazing experience for me and I hope you all got something out of it as well, throughout your time spent here. Making the jury stage is a very impressive milestone. I think we all deserve a nice pat on the back because whether we made it to the end or got close to it; each and every one of us left an impact on Survivor Hyrule. ![]() Now let’s get down to business, shall we? I stand here before you, versing an incredible ally and friend. The odds were stacked up against Tetra and I for a large portion of this game, but we pulled through every single time. The hours we spent plotting inevitably paid off immensely; there is no denying that teamwork was an essential component for both of us to get this point in the game. At the end of the day though, there can only be one winner. I played the stronger game between the two of us, and hopefully by the end of this final tribal council, you will agree. Here is some insight into the game I have played: There is definitely a learning curve when entering a MS Survivor game for the first time. Being tossed into a 12 person tribe was intimidating at first, but I quickly got myself together and began to engage my Korok tribemates. I socialized with as many people as possible, but in a non-aggressive way. I did not push for alliances, I did not try to take the reigns to control how the votes would go down; I instead focused solely on getting through to people on a personal level while making myself out to be as likable as possible. Sometimes you have to work your way up from a simplified play-style like this to achieve any sort of power in this game. This under the radar strategy I implemented at the early stages of the game was only temporary. It just would not have worked out for me if I came out of the gate swinging; I had to save my ruthless side for later on I was progressively playing harder by the time the tribe swap hit. I was put into a unique situation where I was the only player from Korok to be isolated onto a tribe with complete strangers. It was a very high, high reward predicament because of course the automatic thought that would cross HMS, Epona, Tetra, and Mido’s minds would be “Well it looks we have an easy vote!” But if I survived until merge? Having those connections in my pocket would be a HUGE advantage over any other previous Korok player. I fought like hell to integrate myself into their tribe through methods of engaging every single pm sent to me to throwing Korok players under the bus, acting as if I had nothing to go back to in preparation of the merge. I won over Happy Mask Salesmen and developed alliance with him first and foremost. He was basically the ring-leader over there, so doing so was a necessity in order for me to survive and thrive off of them. Tetra and I clicked right off the bat and eventually worked our way up to that full blown alliance that would last us the rest of our time here. We never lost a challenge over there, but if we had, I had taken the precautions necessary to keep myself safe. The beginning of the merge was a bit disappointing; I was anticipating working with both Zelda and Dampe, who I felt like I had really connected with back in our original tribe. Plans being formulated on Zora and Navi’s idol unfortunately crushed those plans, but I had to move on and regroup. The Lost Boys, an alliance between me, Tetra, and Mido developed and we did our best to stick things out with each other for as long as possible. The Windfall Auction came along, and my Survivor instincts really began to kick in. Individual immunity being the first item was a tell-tale sign that there would be something worth-wild later on. I saved up my dice to go all in for the 7th item, knowing that the last item of the challenge couldn’t possibly be something useless. Lo and behold, I received the most powerful and useful tool that auction had to offer… a mystery lot! This essentially gave me the power to conjure up anything I wanted to progress myself through the game. Really, who was going to question me for making the claim that I obtained something overpowered and badass out of that final box? I proceeded to cover up what I actually got (A Double Vote) and concocted an item that many of you know very well; the Master Sword. I sold it well to Navi and he bought every word of it. Once that thing got leaked, and everyone was made aware of it, I guarantied safe passage from Final 7 to Final 5. It ended up doing way more than just that though. It destroyed practically every plan Navi, SK, and Epona came up with because they constantly had to work around that bluff. That along with my double vote propelled Tetra and I to the Final 4 where we would then take them down from there. I gave it my all for that Endurance Challenge, posting 7 straight hours to snatch that spot in the finale. It was die or die for me at that point because I knew if Skull Kid won that thing, I would be sitting there on the jury in his place Today has been an insanely stressful day for me irl. It had been very difficult for me to get this speech done because of that, but I managed! I am looking forward to answering any questions you guys may have regarding my game, tomorrow. |

I am not holding up too well. Something terrible happened last night and well, I’m having quite a bit of trouble dealing with it. It is heartbreaking to lose someone so close to you; someone who has been there for me time after time throughout my life. Part of me just wanted to end it all. That thought has certainly crossed by mind over these past 24 hours. Luckily and thankfully I am a much stronger individual than that. I could never go through with hurting myself, nor would I want to. Despite my emotional instability right now, I think I will be okay eventually. I gotta hope so at least Neglection. Over the course of this game I feel like I neglected the people around me. The people in my life who love and care about me. Here I was trying to balance this time consuming game into my schedule, trying to dedicate every ounce of my free-time in doing the best I could here… but I ended up letting down my family and friends. I should have been there more for them. What pisses me off and makes me BEYOND disappointed with myself the most though, is that something tragic had to happen in order for me see this. It’s pathetic. This will be my last post here on this forum. This game is just not something I can focus on anymore. I have a lotof things to fix in my personal life, and I gotta work hard to get myself healthy and stable again. If I don’t take a break now, I am not sure what will become of me. Please progress the game in any way you guys have to. Least I got in a speech and a couple of question responses for the FTC I really do not want to leave things off on such a negative note like this, so I am just gonna take a sec to shift gears and say a little something positive to a few of you: Bow-Wow, I am proud of you. I know how hard it is going into this game for the first time, we both have had this in common this season. Nice idol play and good job on opening up to a few people throughout your time here Barinade, I hope the problem with your tongue finally goes away completely. Singing sounds like it was a passion of yours, and you deserve to get right back into it if your heart is still there for it Zelda, I can’t wait to talk to you again when I return. You are so nice and sweet; it has been rough not being able to throughout this experience Dampe, humor can heal the most painful wounds. You are a really funny guy, never change that about yourself. Your loved ones are really lucky to have you in their lives. Surely this characteristic is a part of the real Dampe they know and love? Mido, I hope you enjoyed this season better than some of your past ones. Instead of making one good friend, ya made at least two good friends this time around. We had a good run with The Lost Boys, that was a fun alliance to be apart of. Thank you for coming up with that theme Navi, you challenged me this season. I enjoyed our rivalry, but I am even more grateful of the friendship that developed from it. That is something that will last way past this ordeal. You have an open mind, and I have a whole ton of respect for that. Tetra, you know how I feel about ya. Loved playing every moment of this game with you. Some may say you are rough around the edges at times, but I only see that heart of gold you got. I will be back in no time to keep in touch with you. You’ve been a great friend throughout all of this. You rock, bu Volvagia, whenever something goes shitty in your life whether it happens irl, a game, whatever, there’s always something positive you can salvage from any experience you go through. I know that if you look deep into your time playing into this game, at least something fond will come to mind. If I can think back to some positive things with what I am going through right now, you sure as hell can too. Bye guys. Till next time. I will be fine, that’s a promise. The light inside of me won’t die out that easily. I want each and every one of you to look into yourselves as well, and shine bright whenever darkness tries to prevail over your life. Don’t let it |

Eldino you are the fucking man. Hit me up the moment you feel better, we can mess around and look back at what we did here with pride. Just remember, this is a game. That's your real life, do whatever you need to do. Good luck, you know I'll always love you bu.
