G1 Climax and Documentaries (Ideas)

Ok before I get started. I don't see Documentaries being the most needed thing, but maybe adding a bit of backstory to our characters and just something to keep the page active.

Documentaries:

Documentaries are a way to express more of an OOC but still in character feeling. For example, Finn Balor's documentary, or just Seth Rollins. They are both expressing the story of your character and the feeling of the situation. In this case, one of these superstars was injured on an unexpected note, leaving more of a clueless viewer. Now, I'm not the best explainer, but basically, you get to see the wrestler's side of the story. Leaving you with some idea of the event. Like I said, I wasn't the best explainer but I bet a lot of you know what a documentary is. Now, onto being presented into IBW? Basically, I was thinking we could have a section for them. It would work like a collab, using a Titan pad to work out everything. So, I was thinking we could use a backstage interviewer for it.
So, you may ask what would they be about. We don't really have "actual injuries" due to being an E-Fed, I mean look at the logic. We're a bunch of wrestling fans who are also good writers, I mean we're practically all nerds.
Now, here are some topic ideas: Recent Success, Long Time In The Company (Legend/HOF), Eras (Possibly John Morris talking about this "New Era"), Backstories, and probably a lot more that I can't think of. But I hope you get my point. Now, how will you be benefited? Now, back to back stories. Most of us are pretty clueless about who our character is (Mostly just me) so I thought with backstories you could fix that, giving you a better idea. This will make you write more, and think more about who your character really is behind IBW. Now how will IBW be benefited? Well, it's simple like this. I know that IBW is looking for more diverse and serious characters, and getting people to actually develop that in these documentaries would help them have an understanding of it. Plus we'll have more activity, and activity is key.
Well, I've basically stated it already. I think the board wants to know more about your character, they want you to advance in character development. And this is the peak of starting it. It's also a way to give IBW a realistic feel. I'm getting tired and don't know what to say but I hope you get my point.

G1 Climax:

(This is based around an NJPW tournament called, well G1 Climax.)

The G1 Climax is basically your regular King Of The Ring, but with a twist. The winner of the tournament gets a briefcase similar to the Money In The Bank Briefcase where you can cash in on any champion, anytime. But there's another twist, the winner will have to defend the briefcase until he cashes in. Now, most of this would revolve around the board, as IBW want's creativity in it's ideas. And I'm sure the board could add some creativity as I'm not all that. But I was thinking the tournament finals would either co-main event a PPV or main event a PPV. But of course, this would happen farther down the line when we have a champ. I hope you liked my ideas, just something I thought I'd put out here. That's all I have plus I'm super exhausted. Uh I don't know how to end this, but yea these were my ideas, enjoy!

Documentaries would go into IC-OOC, and be an all around awesome thing. Titanpad collabs are really fun as well ^__^

A briefcase that can be cashed in, but has to be defended till then? Sold ( although should take atleast 3 months for proper buildup if we do go this route. )

Time for my official input, since I already posted in the shoutbox my thoughts. Also, ignore anything Stark said because he's dumb and his opinion is bad

But I like both of them! Rather than a more documentary approach, we may try implementing something more like a podcast (though if people want to write up their own documentaries, that's completely fine). The reason I say podcast is simply that it's already a done thing, and a LOT of feds have done podcasts. It also will push us to do something weekly or bi-weekly or even just monthly.

As for the tournament, I rreeeeeealllllly like it. The only problem is that we already have a tonnnnn of other tournament based stuff giving out prizes (Lethal Lotto, Ruler of the Ropes, and there's something that's been planned). And, I personally have always hated the 'Money in The Bank' thing on competitive efeds, but becaaauuuuusseee this is angle based now, it could work VERY well.

It COULD become the prize for one of those three we already have, as the tournament itself is no catch, and that's most likely the route we'll go with it. Reallllly liking this idea.

I've been using piratepad in my other feds since titanpad shut down, works the exact same. Also I'd love like a Table for 3 style thing. Maybe with myself, Morris, and Stark as a test run, talk about the good ole days.

Piratepad would be great then! Didn't know there was an alternative (though should have expected). And we could easily do a run like that! I'll be jumping on this as soon as show is completely done and Academy is... up enough to start! So, hopefully today or tomorrow we can get this in the works.

If this is still being discussed I would love to give my opinion/suggestion. If not ignore what I am about to say.

I feel a very good idea would be to use Lethal Lotto, but to take the name serious. So instead of a tournament, make it one of the PPV's where the mid-card champions have the option to vacate their championships for a shot for the Global Championship in a 1 v 1 or Triple Threat Match. Then put the two championships up for grabs in two different matchs. Alot like what TNA does with the X-Division. But obviously with our own Morris flare. Which will eliminate one of the tournaments. Because it is then a gamble if they will win the belt. Then its almost a lethal match for the current Global Champion. That kind of thing.

Well, Lethal Lotto will be returning to how it was in OBW (and ECW prior. Yes, I did not create the amazing Lethal Lotto). Which is a big tag tourney with randomized multiple-man teams until final match, which is a two v two, and then winning team faces the other in a 1v1. Will NOT be doing what was done when I wasn't really in charge of it.
