Thanks for the heads up! A 2 minute call to my insurer (Allianz), a follow up email and I received confirmation via email the next day that a full refund is on the way. Couldn't have been easier.

Yes, this has been the biggest try on of all time. ISGM ought to have known that subbies were their employees for the purposes of workers comp. Don't forget to get your letter into the ATO regarding Superannuation. Thanks for your post on the workers comp premium. Better in your pocket and just in time for Christmas.
