I attended several meetings and have observed a problem in hearing what is being discussed. This is ment as constructive suggestions only, as I am really impressed how well the club is doing. My suggestions are as follows: 1 Use Roberts Rules of Order as a rough guide, but not as a formal thing. 2 Close the bar during the meeting. 3 Only have club officiers at the bar. 4 Seat all members at least 10 ft from the bar. 5 Seat all children with their parents to prevent distractions. 6 A meeting should last about 30 minutes and before and after the meeting can be used for social activities. Possibly a guest speaker could address the members (Sled Dealer, Law Enforcement, County or State Club Representives, etc.) for about 15 minutes. I would be glad to help in anyway I can to make the meetings go smoothly and talk to the club officiers. Respectfully, Don Skelly |
