Today was an alright day. I wasn't the type of person that went up to people in school and just started to sing out of no where. Don't get me wrong, I was a social butterfly when it came down to getting to know others. But usually it took them coming and talking to me to actually talk. I came out with my old stereo and walked over to the garden part of the school. I peeped this patch of grass by the side of the lake near by...it looked secluded enough for me to check it out. Maybe it would be my new favorite place to let loose and freestyle...that is if the spot wasn't taken by someone else or something. I walked over to it and placed my stereo on the ground, a mixed cd was already in. A few songs I liked to listen to when I was in my element. Turning it on the first song came on. 'she's like the wind by lumidee' I put the volume up with my finger and started bobbing my head. Looking down at the water I placed my hands in front of me, stretched out and palms open.

My eyes turned blue and slowly my hair shook into a blonde color. I was used to this happening but didn't really like the look, my brown hair and honey eyes were good for me. Working my hands around in a circular motion. The crystal water from the river lifted up at first a bit rough, then it began to smooth out into a sphere. Parting my hands away from its motioning I spun them around me as I danced. Concentrating on the water making sure it didn't touch me but moved along with my body. Going between my legs and up around my shoulder, in a clear ribbon. The next song came on 'Love : by Keyshia Cole' I then swayed my body along to it and brought my hands together, shaping a heart in the air above me with the water. My eyes keeping concentration and body moving along with it....This was about all I could do with water. I knew there was so much more.

Were-kin
Laying on the edge of the tree line, near the flowing crystal clear river, partially obscured by a patch of tall grass, lounged a large white beast with striking black stripes. A female White tiger. To the untrained eye, although a rare one, she was simply just another animal, yet this was no ordinary tigress, this was a were-tiger. After have sorted out all of her affairs and tasks she had found it time to take a much needed rest. What better place to do so than in nature its self. Her assigned dorm in Keller hall still bugged her. Part of Anya may have been human, but her animal instincts simply could not get used to a proper bed, movement restricted so. Besides she was only resting, and thus in her mind there was no need to purposefully lock herself in such cramped conditions, by her standards at least.

Taking a deep breath, she yawned. A couple of birds rustled leaves in their attempt to get away from the unfamiliar predator in their territory. A lazy afternoon was just what she needed. Many students didn't come out this far, only the most protected or fool hardy, thus she wasn't planning on being disturbed. Especially considering she would likely scare most off with her natural form before they even got close. She stretched, and let out a long, content purr, before resting her head back on her large paws.

She was just dozing off when a brash noise assaulted her ears. Music was not something regularly heard in the wood... for good reasons. A lot of creatures didn't enjoy being disturbed by such things, and this one was no difference. Drawing herself up to her full height, Anya let out a low, yet auidible warning growl as she slowly stepped toward the source of the noise. The dancing witch and her irritating Stereo.

If they girl knew what was good for her she would have turned the music down, or better yet off. It was clear that this tigress was not best pleased at being disturbed.

As the water spun around me in a sort of rhythmic way I smiled. I was getting better at the motion of it and it showed. The water would come very close to my body shaping around me but it didn't touch me at all or even wet me. The more I practiced the more I loved being able to control water. My favorite how ever was the fire power I had stored up inside of me. I could completely control it and even create it. I had gotten so good at exercising my fire element that it surrounded my body in a orange and blue flame, it didn't burn me at all but I felt a rush of wind course through me and my eyes became a brighter blue then I had ever seen it. I loved my fire element, I think mostly because I myself am a fiery spirit. The song changed into another slow r&b perfect for right now actually. TLC's waterfalls. The ribbons of water staying afloat around me. For a moment I heard a loud roar that sounded like something out of a movie, one of those jungle movies that you find an animal roaring and there is this moment when its at the top of a mountain or something around that.

You never knew what to expect from around here though. From what I heard from the principal, there are such people categorized as were-kin and most of them can turn into a type of animal. There were a few named that I listened to...me I was categorized as a witch and he even told me what my powers were called..you know..in the books and stuff. But my aunts let me in on that a long time ago. They said they always knew there was going to be a new generation elemental because their great grandmother was an elemental. They think my sister is showing signs of healing skills. Probably because she has one hell of a green thumb. She would plant things and in no time they would be blossoming into one of the best vegetables or flowers that I have ever seen, a real gift in that one my aunts would say. Jet always thought it was incredibly handy around the house.

From the corner of my eye I could see something white in the distance. I held my hands in front of me and watched the water, spreading it across in a thin sheet so I can concentrate on the water at the same time as the white thing coming closer. As I squeezed my eyes I saw that it was a tiger. Must be one of those were whatevers the principal was talking about. No way would a regular tiger be lounging around in a forest...they belonged else where in places like Bali, Africa and such. That must have been where the roaring sound came from. I watched a bit more just to see why was it coming in my direction. My guard and defense going up automatically...forceful habit.

Anya found herself somewhat impressed by this witch that had disturbed her nap time, she seemed to be a fairly capable water witch. Anya may have been angry at her but she was still female, she could still see the beauty in the girl's dance. But then again, maybe that was the witch's plan all along, disturb and entrance. In that case, Anya wouldn't give her any benefit of the doubt. Maybe she just hadn't realized that some creatures around these parts may have not been quite as energetic as constantly as others. Anya personally preferred to have her alone time left undisturbed. God help this girl ...

She circled around the water wielding witch, tiger teeth bared. On guard for the worst. But in all honest what could this girl do to her? She was on the defensive already, but seriously, throwing water at a tigress wasn't the best plan anyone could ever have. May this was a confrontation that should have been sorted out with words rather than fists, but Anya was itching for a fight. She would no doubt win, but where was the challenge.

She paused in her circle and stood quickly shifting in to her human form. Before Madison stood a girl 5'9” with a head of platinum blonde hair and a classy fashion sense. The scowl plastered across her doll-like features was a lot less fearsome than it was in her natural form, but never the less she wasn't amused and she would do anything to get this girl to shut her irritating music off.

"How would you like it if I came into your room and did everything in my power to stop you from taking a nap?" Her voice was soft, her accent ever present. She was a rose with hidden thorns.

[ooc: urgh ... yeah, I lost my muse. sorry]

I watched the tiger. It happened to be one of my favorite animals along with the lion. I was big time into felines....me being a leo myself. But I also knew alot about them and the way that it was approaching me all slumped backed and slow, was not of friendly intentions. I darted my eyes watching closely. My hands coming together, the water forming a sphere above me. I held it there and payed attention to the tiger as it continued to get close. If this was a student trying to get me to be scared they had another thing coming to them. I was against bringing any harm to a beautiful animal but when it was about to attack me, that was another thing. Rolling my eyes I really didn't sign up for coming outside looking to just let loose wit the elements to have it interrupted by some fucking prowling tiger. Now, the anger within me was heating up and I could feel the apples of my cheek heat up along with the rest of my body.

As the tiger started to circle me I knew now for sure that it meant no good. Especially when its mouth opened up showing its sharp teeth. I smirked and shook my head. "I wouldn't do that if I was you" I said holding a threatening tone. One slick move and I would change in an instant. I wasn't afraid of anything. I didn't give two shits if it was a guy that was bigger then me or even an animal with big pearly whites. I moved around as well as we both circled around. As it stood up I could see the figure of a lengthy girl. Now I was really ticked off to know that it was in fact a student and not an animal. On the bright side I wouldn't feel so bad hurting her. I stared right up into her eyes and held the spinning sphere of water above me.

"How would you like it if I came into your room and did everything in my power to stop you from taking a nap?"
I didn't like the little bitches tone at all and she had really messed around with the wrong person. "Last time I checked this whole place didn't have your goddamn name on it did it? Its a free country and I can do what ever the hell I want." The ball of water evaporated as I became extremely annoyed with this chick. What in the hell did she think she was going to do to me, scare me a bit so she can get her precious way. It was called life, things weren't going to go your way all the time and right now.. "Build a bridge and get over it." I said not moving my eyes from her. She had no friggen idea who she was dealing with.

ooc- its cool

Anya tilted her head slightly at the girl's words, “You talk sense, sweety.” She may not have been in such a defensive stance as her 'opponent' but that wasn't to say that she wasn't on guard, oh she knew how to hold her own against an enemy. She was used to beating back young upstart Were's back in Russia, teaching a witch a lesson wasn't going to be much of a problem... Just as long as she kept away from her magical attacks all would be well. Then again, who said this had to evolve into a fight? “Thing is though, while this place doesn't have my name on it, I was still trying to rest peacefully. I was simply using an analogy to put the point across. So, yeah, it is the same thing really... you're lucky I'm not like some of the brutes that live in these woods, I know for a fact you could have done much worse than disturb me”

As the girl spouted some line about building a bridge, Anya couldn't help but grin. She hadn't met someone who was quite this amusing to taunt since Brooke. Perhaps she could have a bit of fun with this one. “Tigers aren't all that well equipped for building bridges ya know” She said, with a chuckle and a shake of her head. Oh, was she playing the infuriating blonde air head again? Oh dear. How ever did that happen?

Her wicked grin was ever present; if she wanted a battle of wit then she would get one, if she wanted combat then she would get it to. Anya wasn't fussed. Either way she would no doubt have fun messing with this ball of anger. Near-humans with anger problems where the best to have fun with, they simply could not take a joke. Sure eventually Anya would have a rather angered witch on her hands but it wasn't like she couldn't handle it.

When she called me sweetie I shook my head and smirked. "Sorry your not my type." Honestly I really wasn't scared of this chick even if she could turn into a tiger. That fur on her skin would be gone by the time she would even think to swipe at me. Poor thing probably thought that I could only control water and felt confident that she could start something up with me. It was easy to get a rise out of me but I played things smart. I never went at it first because I knew the consequences. Maybe if we were back in New York things would be a bit different but as for now I knew that it was self defense if she attacked me first. Everything from their would be my own way of protecting myself. “Thing is though, while this place doesn't have my name on it, I was still trying to rest peacefully. I was simply using an analogy to put the point across. So, yeah, it is the same thing really... you're lucky I'm not like some of the brutes that live in these woods, I know for a fact you could have done much worse than disturb me” I shook my head not convinced that it was the same thing.

"Well sorry to break it to you but it was a crappy analogy, because there was no point made. I'm Lucky? the way I look it at...if it were any other creature or person that I pissed off I could handle them just like I can handle you. If you would have behaved in a different manner and asked me to turn it down instead of slumping your way over here and bearing that smile of yours....we wouldn't even be having this conversation." I told her truthfully in a calm voice, yet I was still ready and had the heat of anger coursing through me. I rolled my eyes when she tried to be smart, she could have used something else other then that line which showed just how her humor was directed, in that miss know at all try and make people feel stupid tone she held. I hated people like her.

"So what? Are you going to just stand there and hope that you some how can intimidate me with your pedestal complex. 'cause I'll tell you right now. You don't faze me....So please by all means speed things up so we can be out of each others hair." Whether that would be us engaging in a brawl or her just leaving me be back to what I was doing.
