Kalist VI is a bleak, mountainous, desert planet, home to both a Republic base and labor colony.

Byss is a planet in the Deep Core, near the center of the Galaxy, discovered no earlier than 45 BBY. A local day lasted 31 standard hours, and a local year lasted 207 standard days. It was the endpoint of the Byss Run.

Byss itself was somewhat of a myth, seeming to be the perfect place to live. Its eerie blue-green glow, caused by its sun, also added to the strangeness of the world. Despite this outward appearance, however, Emperor Palpatine's dark side energies were everywhere, corrupting not only the inhabitants, but the planet itself.

Byss was the secret throne world of Palpatine and the location of his towering Imperial Citadel. He also kept his secret supply of clone bodies there. It has been destroyed as of lately.

Ojom is a frigid oceanic world with many glaciers, located in the Deep Core, and the homeworld of the Besalisk. Ojom avoided Imperial occupation by means of the Besalisks' underworld contacts. The planet was orbited by space station spaceport.

Tython is a planet in the Deep Core. It was the planet where the Jedi Order originated, in the form of the first society of Force users, in known history.

Foerost is a Deep Core world on the Koros Trunk Line between Kuar and Kaikielius. It was orbited by the Foerost Shipyards, which was one of the Republic's largest and oldest shipyards. The shipyards' engineers removed raw materials from the planet and transported them to the shipyards in high orbit.
