New Alderaan Is a planet where thousands of former residents of Alderaan moved to after the Destruction of Alderaan by the first Death Star. It is governed by the Alderaanian Council, presumably headed by the Alderaan Alliance. It is established by the Alliance Support Service, including Lieutenant Deeve.

The planet is essentially one giant city, with skyscrapers jutting several kilometers into the atmosphere. Approximately 1 trillion people inhabit the planet. This planet also houses the old Jedi Temple, which now serves as a museum, dedicated to all Jedi fallen in battle.

Duro (also known as Duros) is the heavily polluted and depopulated homeworld of the Duros species. Located on the Corellian Trade Spine, the planet itself is mostly abandoned, housing mostly food processing plants. Most people lived in one of the twenty orbiting cities. Duro is also home to a large number of orbital shipyards.

Corellia is the capital planet of the Corellian system, which included Selonia, Drall, Tralus, and Talus. It is also the birthplace of smuggler and New Republic General Han Solo and Rogue Squadron pilot and New Republic hero Wedge Antilles.

Fresia is a ringed world populated by mining or repair droids. Fresia is also populated by blue-furred creatures called Calicis.

Kuat was home to Kuat Drive Yards. These famous shipyards, used to build ships for both the Galactic Republic and the Galactic Empire and later the New Galactic Republic, circled the planet for thousands of kilometers.

Anaxes is a fortress world located in the Axum system of the Core Worlds, and is known as the Defender of the Core by the Galactic Republic and later the New Galactic Republic. It was located on the Perlemian Trade Route and shared its sun, Solis Axum, with Selgon, Grastes, Axum, Urfon, Phlors Rex, Phlors Regina, and Ichium.

Caamas is a highly populated and marsh-covered Core World in the Cirius system, the second planet orbiting the star Cirius. It is notable for the devastation it suffered during an Imperial orbital bombardment which destroyed its ecosystem and nearly wiped out the native Caamasi.

When the Empire was knocked off as the Ruling Government, the New Republic restored the surface.

Abregado-rae is a major manufacturing and trade-oriented planet in the Abregado system in the Core Worlds, sitting at the beginning of the Rimma Trade Route. It is also the beginning of the Shapani Bypass or the "Bacta Run." It had a reputation as one of the Core Worlds' more rough-and-tumble planets. It is home to the infamous Abregado-rae Spaceport.

It shared the sun Anza with Abregado-dai, Abregado-san, Abregado-fus, and Abregado-taki.
