" said Shadow to Meko, a very promising young Dark Jedi. Lord Shadow, Riyan, and Meko then took about 500 troops and 100 Dark Jedi to the hanger bay. It took about six freighters for all of the troops and Dark Jedi. The squadron left the ship with six other groups of freighters from Darth Shadow's ships following. Shadow totally did not care what Meko did with his troops. They all touched down on the planet's surface. Shadow and Riyan took about 100 troops with him to the Jedi Enclave location. "Meko, take these Dark Jedi and head for the cities. Lay waste to any and all in your way. Darth Riyan and I will head to the Jedi Enclave." As Darth Shadow and Darth Riyan and his troops walked, there was a large group of Republic soldiers just outside the Jedi Enclave. The captain of the group spotted Riyan. "More intruders, kill them!" said the Republic captain said. The Republic soldiers were trained well, but Shadow's troops were trained better. There was only about two troops left, including the captain. Darth Shadow grabbed the captain by the neck and impaled his lightsaber inside him, then, his soldiers blasted the last few soldiers to death. He threw the captain's body into a tree and continued on.
