Sohryu: Yeah. And Shadow said I'd die. Hasn't happened yet, so stop talking and fight damn you. Unless... your as much of a coward as that one of the Jawas... then your like most of the other Sith. He swings his greatsaber at him, and continues to smash it against his blade. |

Riyan held his grip and knew his blades would not last much longer. Finally him and his master shoved Shadow off and they prepared themselves. They circled the dark lord waiting for his move. Riyan looked at Ordan and ORdan looked at him. They both jumped at the sith lord but he swirled around and deflected the swings. Riyan and Ordan fell to the ground and quickly got back up. Shadow started dueling the two jedi again. Numi saw Sohryu fighting the general and ran over to help. She used force push knocking him down. She looked at Sohryu and nodded. The two then began to duel the general. |

These Jedi were tough, but not as strong as Darth Shadow's immense power in the Dark Side. He deflected the swings from Riyan and Ordan and began fighting Ordan again. Shadow tried to impale his lightsaber into Ordan stomach to end his life, but to no avail. Then, he saw Riyan get back up, so he started dueling the both of them. Just then, A'Krayt and Sati came in to help, but were stopped by Darth Xar. They dueled him, and Sati nearly lost her arm. A;Krayt stepped in at hack and slashed Xar, proving to be more stronger. The battle was ever-vigulant, and seemed to never end. As the battle raged on, Shadow received a messege on his comm link. "My lord, this is Grand General Krennel. My forces have entered hyperspace and are currently engaging the Republic forces. What are your orders?" asked the Grand General of the Sith Empire. "Take the 501st Commando Legion and land on this planet immediately! Support the Shadow Troopers!" said the Dark Lord as he was still fighting Master Ordan and Padawan Riyan. Shadow cut off the transmission and continued to battle the two Jedi. He then saw General Quelek fighting the persistent Sohryu, who Darth Shadow once fought. Shadow noticed that Sohryu had become a Jedi Padawan as well. You have to be a force-sensitive in order to even think of surviving a battle with the Dark Lord. "Still talking bullshit, I see. Well, it looks like it is time for you to DIE!" said Quelek as he took his double-bladed lightsaber, and caught Sohryu off guard, unleashing many flurry attacks. "You were NEVER better than me. And even as a JEDI you can't beat me!" said Quelek. (Now, is THAT better? Whether you like it or not, you're not going to be in one piece in the entire story. You're not immune.) |

"Noooooo!" cried Numi as she swung her lightsaber hitting Quelek's lightsaber, "You want take this padawan's life!" She began a flurry of attacks on the general not letting him get an offensive attack in. |

Sohryu begins another flurry onto the blade of the opposing dark jedi, and he begins laughing hysterically and staring him down while he does it. His eyes penetrate the Jedi, and he continues the stare, not blinking. Sohryu: Your not better than me either! If I die, then your going straight to hell with me! He then does a power attack, jumping into the air, Sohryu's lightsaber comming down onto the dark jedi's lightsaber, causing a firework show of electrical sparks. |

Shadow was still fighting many Jedi, but was focusing on Ordan and Riyan. His eyes solely focused on Ordan, Shadow powered up a strong attack. He unleashed Vaapad, a move he learned from the holocron of Revan. With this attack, he sent Ordan flying, knocking the Jedi Master out. Then, he powered up the attack again, this time he attacked Riyan. He sent Riyan flying. "And they call themselves Jedi....pathetic. Now I will deal with that Sohryu slime." said Shadow. He rushed Sohryu and began helping General Quelek fight the Jedi Padawan. With their combined strength, it would only be a matter of time until they killed Sohryu. A Jedi Padawan surviving a General AND the Dark Lord of the Sith? Only in his dreams does he possibly imagine he can beat them both. "You REALLY need to get over yourself. Shadow and that Sith General ARE right, you are weak. Why do you THINK Chief of State Leia Solo IS ON THE VERGE OF FIRING YOU!?! YOU WERE NOT THERE WHEN THEY NEEDED YOU MOST! YOU LEFT TO FIND ONE JEDI WHEN MILLIONS OF OUR SOLDIERS DIED BY THE HANDS OF THE SITH!" said a Republic Captain, who yelled towards Sohryu after killing a Shadow Trooper. |

Sohryu: Shut it you insabordinate little rat. Sohryu(thought): Maybe he is right... this situation is hopeless. Sohryu: Riyan! A'Krayt! We need to get out of here! It's only a matter of time before all of us die! Let this planet fall! What's the use of winning if all of us die in the process? Let us live to save more lives in the future! You know it's for the best! He begins to back up, dodging all opponents. |

"Soheyu's right! EVERYONE, RETREAT!" yelled A'Krayt. "All troopers, return to your transports! We have to sacrifice this planet if we are to salvage our fleet and army!" said Ordan. All the soldiers and Jedi began to retreat from the scene, seeing as how Geonosis was already lost when Darth Shadow stepped foot on the surface. Everyone was in their transports except A'Krayt and Ordan, who were trying to fight off Shadow. Shadow did a spin attack, cutting off Ordan's hand. A'Krayt used Force Push on the Dark Lord, sending flying into a pile of rubble. They got on the transport and to A'Krayt's ship. The fleet, or what was left of it, entered hyperspace and exited the orbit of Geonosis. Another glorious day for the New Sith Empire. |

"WHAT! I can't believe we retreated! We could have killed Shadow and his precious general! Your all weak! Why did I leave the Sith! At least I could have tasted victory from time to time! " Riyan said in an outburst. "Turn this ship around! Who cares if we die! If we bring Shadow with us it'll be worth it!" He stood in anger forgetting his jedi teachings. He walked over to the "grand general" of the republic army and spoke, "What was that! your a damned fool! You call yourself the 'grand general' but you were the first one to call retreat!" He grabbed Sohryu by the neck of his clothing and held him against the wall and ignited his lightsaber and said, "How dare you! I will kill you, you bastard!!!!!" |

Sohryu kicks Riyan in the stomach, then grabs his hand, taking the lightsaber, then throws it to the side, and slams him against the wall. Sohryu: Shut it you hot headed moron! Think about it, our people were dying, and we had nothing to gain from fighting that battle! Why would we stay only to die!? He then lets go of him and walks across the room, putting his hands on his head and begins to lightly sob. Sohryu: I can't help that I made a choice to save lives! Too many were already lost... |

'You bastard!" Riyan shouted as he took off running and tackled Sohryu to the ground. He stood up and held his foot on his chest and said, "It is war. People die in war. A soldiers life is a sacrifice! I joined the jedi to help people and take back planets so people would not have to suffer, if I die in t he process then so be it. If a soldier doesnt want to die then he should leave the army and stay our of the way." He took his foot off his chest and walked over to his lightsaber and unignited it and put it back on his belt. |

"The BOTH of you, STOP acting like children. You PAST that stage in your lives when you were both made Padawans." said A'Krayt. "It is okay, my friend. If Riyan wants to turn around and go back, he may. We've just received word that the Revanchist are on their way to Geonosis with a large fleet to take back the planet." said Ordan. Ordan and A'Krayt looked at each other. A'Krayt's face was in complete shock. How could his best friend and mentor allow the Padawan to go back? But, just then, Ordan winked at him, letting A'Krayt know that he was pulling Riyan's leg, and was not being serious about letting Riyan go. A Master could NEVER do that their Padawan. It would seem that Riyan still has much to learn about the Jedi and the light side. |

Sohryu: Let him go. He isn't one for the light, too hot headed and blames others for his failings. If the dead soldiers were on his conscious then he would have done the same thing I did. He clenches his fists. Sohryu: I'd end him myself if it weren't against the jedi code. |

"Go, then, Riyan. Take a fighter back to Geonosis and find a Jedi Knight named Mikal Seren." said Master Ordan, disappointed in his Padawan for making the one decision. He felt his Padawan touch the dark side once again, and hoped that after he regrouped with Riyan, he could help remove it. |
