"I have unusual talents. Besides, if I can't have talented friends to help me." She'll smile at her. "Can't hurt you guys for me to try, can it?"

"I..." she hesitates for a long time, "I suppose not, though, you are not allowed into the noble district. Which is where the houses were broken into. "she heaves a sigh. "I... cannot guarantee they will allow you entrance, or allow you to help, but.. I will give my recommendation that you be allowed to help, that is all I can do." She pulls out a sheet of paper, and writes quickly on it, and then hands it to you, "go, during the day to the Entrance of the blue mountain district, and ask to see Captain Estard, hand him this note. It is up to him to decide if he will let you in."

Well, that'd explain the huge bounty, Tatsu thinks upon hearing the fact it was done in the noble district. She'll take the note and nod to the Captain. "Thank you, I hope they'll allow me in." With that she'll turn and head out to the district entrance, seeking out the other captain as asked.

As you walk up to the guard house near the entrance you can already tell the difference between the two districts, and you haven't even entered yet. First, the building is two stories, and made from thick granite, it is made in such a way that you cannot easily hear anything beyond the entrance. The guards at the entrance though muscular, have a bit more fat on their bones, you can tell they would be just a touch slower than the other guards that you have seen. They are also much better dressed, the under garments are a soft cotton, rather than the wool that most of the other guards wear, and.. is that gold? They look like they are in more parade armor than in functional armor, Even the weapons look like they are more for decoration than for actual fighting. The amount of gems and filigree on the hilts and blades you wonder what they would do if someone really attacked them. One of the guards steps forward, "papers please"

Tatsu grumbled at seeing this, once more comparing this city to her home and not liking it. Tirisea's guards were highly trained and in most cases veterans of some battle. Her mother and Liska, who had effectively been the head of the guard, made sure their men could fight a war against the primordials if needed. Here though, she was sure the only duty of the guards of this district was to keep the commoners out and look pretty for the nobles they served.

She pulled it the paper by held onto it. "I am to take this to Captain Estard, direct orders from Captain Steelsmith." Her tone falling easily into her arrogant noble tone that she was used to. Also she was sure this is how these sort of guard were used to being talked to, though her accent far more exotic than what they might be used to.

The guard takes the note and looks at it briefly, "of course, follow me, we'll see what the Captain has to say" He'll lead you further in, and as you enter the second door to the side you can hear some practicing, though not nearly as much as you would expect to hear from a guard house, you are led past a kitchen where you see several guards eating and playing some sort of card game, and then up the stairs and into a plush office. The first thing you notice is the several tapestries on the wall, and then the fine wooden desk with several velvet covered chairs, and finally the large man sitting behind the desk, he is not only fat but huge, the quill he has in his hand looks almost like a toy in his beefy hand, and you cannot help but wonder as human as he looks if there isn't some giant in his background. you would guess he stands close to 7 foot tall, his black hair carefully done, and round features. He looks up as you enter, and the guard moves over laying the note at the corner, "Mistress Tatsu from.. Honosea, is here to see you, Captain Steelsmith seems to think she will be able to help you with the small issue that has arisen in Gorrym Sleityn." The man looks up and motions for you to enter and sit, regarding you with bright blue eyes.

Tatsu eyes widened for a brief moment at the size of the captain. Already short for a human, Tatsu was acutely aware of just how much this man would tower over her. While unsure of his fighting ability with his bulk, she figured he'd be an imposing figure regardless.

At the motion to sit, she will do so, folding her tail once more over lap. "Captain, thank you for seeing me." With that her eyes will flash purple as she attempts too read him.

It seems as though his bulk hides an uncanny intellect. He seems to have already figured out that you are a fighter, and has moved ever so slightly to be ready for you if needed, he's wary, yet calm. He stands up, his head brushing the ceiling lightly and he grabs the letter with roughened hands. You can see the calluses on them from some sort of weapon, and there are about 5 different types behind him attached to the wall. He takes a moment to settle back into his chair which creaks as his mass settles into it, and he opens up the letter and reads it swiftly. "Hmm, well, Steelsmith seems to have a slight fondness towards you, but I don't care about that." his voice sounds like rocks grinding together, "I'm not sure how helpful you'll be, but at least I can tell the nobles that we've tried, but unless you can see things better than my men, you'll be right useless." He heaves a great shrug. "follow my rules, and you'll not have any trouble, don't follow my rules, and you'll be out on your ear faster than you can realize. Stay with your escort, keep your hands off things that don't belong to you, and be polite." He raises a well-groomed, but slightly shaggy eyebrow. 'think you can do that?"

Tatsu's smile fades a little when she sees him stand, yeah she didn't want to get on the wrong side of him. She listened to what he said, nodding, having expected it. In this sort of city she doubted she'd get any freedom in the noble district, without becoming nobility here anyway. "I am very talented, more so than most. But yes sir, I'll follow the rules, know how the nobility can get, plenty of experience with them." Might not add up with her fake backstory that part, but she wasn't thinking about trying to hide right now.

The Captain nods briefly, "ok," he hands you a small brass brooch. It looks like two mountains side by side. "wear this, and follow Niche, and Beni, they will escort you, you'll be seeing..." He looks down at the papers in front of him and he moves a few aside. "Lord Cipraini, Lord Mertens, and Lord Osborne. He rings a small bell on his desk and one tall and extremely thin man, and one short dwarf walks in. "escort her to the complainants, she is to be allowed access at each house for one hour each, and allowed to talk to each of the lords for 30 minutes each for any questions." He turns to you. "you will be back out in 6 hours, and report on any findings, if you need additional access you may inquire later."
