She'll ease off a little feeling that. "Sorry to intrude like that, I'm just very used to magic being very common back home. A place with a just king and very mixed population, probably mostly elves by now..." |

Galegiml frowns, "it's not that magic is not common.. it's just.. not common here, and people need to be able to survive." |

"Well... surely the people learning and accepting magic would be for the better." She'll gesture to the bar. "A minor thing, but keeping this clean would be easier. Let alone defending oneself as my speciality is, even if my 'magic' is hardly conventional." |

It's not about that, it's about the destruction it can and has caused. you get a drunk sailor who decides that it's not warm enough and starts a fire, or you have two guys fighting over a girl and ends up blasting a whole in the side of a house, starting a fire in town, what do you do? It's better to not do magic, maybe someplace else, where they have the ability to fix anything faster and easier, but here, I'll just leave it as is. |

"Surely having someone to be able to counter such destruction would be for the best? I'm no expert, but always seemed the best answer to a rogue spell caster would be another." She'll sigh and shrug. "I suppose it been clear that some members of the town are a bit more...adamant in their conviction against 'witch's'." |

Ah, but if we were to do that, it would mean finding people that COULD counter it, and no one has that type of power. so you would want us to then hire someone to come to town? do you know how much that would cost us? |

"Well, true, I suppose would be hard to train a towns person that sort of thing with no teacher her. Very well, you have a point." With the conversation getting her nowhere fast and it clear Galegiml either had no idea about other magic users or just wanted noting to do with it, she dropped the line of questioning. Thanking him for his time, she will go see Ginnga, asking about a little addition, a little veil from the left over lace. She will also agree to do some housework, finding the idea of sitting around in the shack for everyday all day, pretty boring. Ginnga Maid: Week 1: [result]12&12,1d20,0,12&1d20[/result] Week 2: [result]8&8,1d20,0,8&1d20[/result] As the ship comes into town, she remembers the offer Galegiml made her and with a sigh will take him up on it. Like with the maid work, she romanticises it in her mind, using old books she used to read, Bar Maids, Maids and other such jobs were often a part of said books. Barmaid: Day 1: [result]9&9,1d20,0,9&1d20[/result] Day 2: [result]19&19,1d20,0,19&1d20[/result] Day 3: [result]18&18,1d20,0,18&1d20[/result] Day 4: [result]7&7,1d20,0,7&1d20[/result] Day 5: [result]19&19,1d20,0,19&1d20[/result] Also during this time she'll have her little fun with her little dress. She wasn't bored yet and if she kept getting good partners, well what better? Besides, with the ship coming in, that made things all the easier, or should do anyway. Pre-Ship: Week 1: [result]9&8,1d20,1,9&1d20+1[/result] Week 2: [result]5&4,1d20,1,5&1d20+1[/result] Post-Ship Day 1: [result]16&15,1d20,1,16&1d20+1[/result] Day 2: [result]5&4,1d20,1,5&1d20+1[/result] Day 3: [result]3&2,1d20,1,3&1d20+1[/result] Day 4: [result]11&10,1d20,1,11&1d20+1[/result] Day 5: [result]20&19,1d20,1,20&1d20+1[/result] |
