¬Instinto/Misutikku north east border, south west of the city of Ihan.¬ Close to where the three kingdoms meet is a single great road, a road that has been fought over during the wars. Now it is the main route of trade for all three kingdoms, only it is hardly well protected. To the south it's patrolled, to the north and to the west, but here? Here on the border, no kingdom takes responsibility, or at least do not wish to anger to other with action. So when bandits started raiding caravans from the ruins, well, who was going to sort it? Abe Caldwell set up a small camp to the side of the main road. With no affiliation to any of the kingdoms, this man sets him and his small group of men up at the border to beat back the bandits. Not only beat them back, but he's sent out a bounty too all three kingdoms and their settlements. To hunt down the bandits and capture their leader, a simple enough request, requiring individuals of at least a modest amount of skill. |

(Keitaro) "I would enquire how far this connection goes, there are some things best left to my own mind and freely sharing secrets is disconcerting." Tenchi nods, musing the question for a moment before giving a careful reply. "You are at least partially correct, my friend. Mere communication requires only the most superficial of connections, but a master telepath would be more than capable of delving deep into your thoughts with only the lightest mental touch. All I can offer by way of reassurance is the promise that neither myself nor Pudding are so skilled that we could accomplish this, and even were we- or any psychic- to make the attempt, every mind instinctively resists unwelcome intrusion; it could potentially be a most unpleasant experience for the telepath in question, and a risk not lightly undertaken." (Arriving at the ruins) Pokemon Education: [result]3&3,1d6,0,3&1d6[/result] Tenchi shares a knowing look with Pudding. They both seem confident. "They will certainly see us the moment we leave the cover of the woods. Still... making camp for several hours seems like it would risk our discovery by a patrol just as much. If we desire to rest, we must find someplace safe and secure. If it would help us be as strong as possible when we attack, then I am in favour. I doubt we can eliminate the guards before they raise the alarm, so the moment we approach we ought to expect every bandit in the gang to come charging." |

Toru and Pandi stood back for a while, examining the situation. It seemed as though you were damned if you did and damned if you didn't.... though he still only knew his job as beating up bandits... That was the most he had gleamed from any of the information, so in a hushed voice he looked around to the others. "Alright, So what is our plan? Go out, beat those guys up, call the other bandits and then beat them up? Perhaps we pretend to get captured, escape and beat them up as well? Or maybe, we cut down this tree, pick it up and throw it at those guys, then we hide in the runes and beat the others up as they come at us?" Truly, he was a man with a plan. |

'Sigh' Miyatso was not sure what they would do about the people not too far from them as if they were seen then it would not be good, however trying to avoid them may not work out to well either and unless they moved further from the area then they should not try to set up any form of camp or area to rest. His personal opinion was to attempt to avoid conflict if possible if they were not at full strength. He was sure Kotatsu was up for fighting it was something that she did well and enjoyed to do, whereas he himself while being able to fight preferred to act more 'strategically' over an overall frontal attack. He had bonded well with Kotatsu since they met and could fight in tandem with each other but there styles all out attack vs all out defence and stall are not styles that as they are now work to well together. "Personally i'm for making sure we are at our most effective to engage these enemies. so i think that if anyone feels they need anything then we should wait however if everyone is ready ii think the plan of bringing them to us may be the most wise decision." |

As the group of you sit and discuss things, one of the guards looks over in your direction and seems to stand more at attention, hand on his weapon. You aren't sure if he saw the group of you exactly, but he seems to be alerted to something. His partner noticing the reaction, also stands and gets ready. |

At Tenchi's shoulder, Pudding notes the change in attitude as the guards grow more alert, sending her master a psychic warning. "Friends," Tenchi gestured, "I suggest we lure these two guards closer and neutralize them before withdrawing. Any wounds can be recuperated with rest, and perhaps a prisoner might yield more intelligence. If we are fast, our ambush need not alert any of their comrades for a while yet, by which time we shall be gone." "If we are not planning to fight without more preparation, then I suggest we extract ourselves now, otherwise the battle shall find us." |
