![]() Sitting the most westward on the galactic plane within the Dominion, the yellow dwarf of Moriah is considered a fringe system. Ill-supplied and ill-equipped, the system is prey to raiders, pirates, and anyone else seeking to take advantage of an isolated system. According to Prefect's office, insurrection is eminent; so far the Dominion has done very little to assuage the concerns of the colonists. The system itself is a drain on the state, so it is clear as to why so little help is afforded. |

Tzion![]() When Tzion first came onto the radar of the Terran Confederacy during the Human Unification War, it was almost disregarded and left forgotten around its star, Moriah. Upon further investigation, this fringe system of the future Aurelian Dominion would open up one of the greatest mysteries of the modern age: who built this megastructure? As the name suggests, Tzion is a ringworld, meaning that it is an artificial ring that wraps around the orbit of it's star. The structure itself has an atmosphere buttressed by retention walls and a surface in which can be walked upon. The real curiousity behind it is that humans did not build it -- perhaps the only pure alien creation known to humans of this scale. With atmotherapy, Tzion was able to be colonized, yet found that the harsh steppe climate was not as ideal of a location as previously thought. Due to the nature of the world and it's low population. Tzion was virtually untouched during the Venkath Onslaught as it wasn't considered a high value target to commit resources to. Tzion itself, however, is not in the best of shape. Several solar shields were placed at varied points in order to create a day/night cycle, but that cycle is not compatible with humans at this time. Some of the shields themselves are broken, creating patches of the ringworld that have longer days than typically associated with Tzion. Presently, the Dominion does not believe it is worth the resources to adjust the ringworld to human standards, creating a level of tension between the planetary government and it's colonists. Planetary Information Orbital Position: 1st Length of Day: Varies Class: Other - Ringworld Gravity: 7.5 Breathable Atmosphere: Yes Water Coverage: 50% Claimed By: Aurelian Dominion Population Class: Sparse Places of Interest: None ![]() A typical colony on the Steppes of Tzion. A harsh climate and poor conditions has left the settlers on the verge of rebellion. |
