System Overview The star Garden is a yellow dwarf tinted faintly green by anomalous reactions caused by the relatively common infalling comets that regularly pass the star. Steady in the center of the main sequence, Garden is very stable and boring and is expected to remain so for several billion years until it collapses. The star Garden is orbitted by eleven major planets, four of which are uninhabited rocks with little atmosphere, three of which were terraformed during human colonial expansion, and four of which are large gas giants, each orbited by an array of moons. Millions of citizens died during the Venkath Onslaught, but thanks to the Resistance, further casualties were avoided. There is at present no significant military fleet in Garden, the Union reliant on the Concordat and the lack of strategic value of their system to protect them. Dandelion Planetary Overview Orbital Position: Third rock from the sun Length of day: 25.5 hours Gravity: 9.4 m/s squared Breathable Atmosphere: Yes Water Coverage: 68% Claimed by: Union of Garden Population: 9 Billion citizens [Medium Class II] Primary Export: Biotechnology, agricultural goods, services Dandelion is a densely populated world inhabited early on during human colonization efforts. With a stable economy and relatively healthy population, as well as enough arable land and alternative energy sources to sustain itself through the Selerium Crisis, the most significant occurrence in local history was the foundation of BioScience Solutions, Syndicated around two hundred years after landfall. Starting as a simple GMO crop manufacturing company, BioScience Solutions, Syndicated, (also called the Bio Syndicate) gradually expanded into animal modification, then human bioscience, before finally expanding their purview into experimental technologies like organic weapons and self-maintaining biological machinery. Thanks to the Syndicate, organic batteries and self-cleaning carpets are an everyday occurrence, while more exotic technologies like living jumpsuits and sapient tattoos are becoming more common. Aside from the abnormal levels of organic technologies, however, Dandelion's culture is a simple blend of urban and rural areas, with a fairly accepting culture. Briar Planetary Overview Orbital Position: Fifth rock from the sun Length of day: 32 hours Gravity: 8.5 m/s squared Breathable Atmosphere: Yes Water Coverage: 50% Claimed by: Union of Garden Population: 5 Billion citizens [Medium Class] Primary Export: Technical components, energy weapons, education The planet Briar was terraformed simultaneously to Dandelion and Lily, but was never quite as popular as the other worlds. Due to its primarily arid climate, the unusually low gravity, and the lack of mineral or vegetal wealth, the early years of Briar were difficult. Eventually, however, a small cluster of research stations and the odd university gradually grew into the largest accumulation of scientific knowledge and engineering ability in the system. Briar remains arid and comparatively underpopulated, but has a thriving education market, as well as notoriously competent engineers and technicians. Edited by Serpens, Aug 12 2017, 08:37 PM.

Lily Planetary Overview Orbital Position: Sixth rock from the sun Length of day: 34 hours Gravity: 10.0 m/s squared Breathable Atmosphere: Yes Water Coverage: 90% Claimed by: Union of Garden Population: 8 Billion citizens [Medium Class II] Primary Export: Raw materials, refined metals, artificial selerium, composites, Yutani Drives The planet Lily is an unusual world by any standard. The stereotypical image of a 'water world', Lily has nothing visible on the surface besides some hefty polar icecaps and a few dotted archipelagos. However, beneath the waves are massive undersea arcologies, built to extract the rich mineral veins present in the growing undersea mountains. Despite significant hardship in the early years of construction, massive structures capable of surviving the tectonic instabilities of the sea floor were built with assistance from the academia of Briar, and Lily is now a lesser known tourist hotspot, famed for the beauty of its aquatic environment, as well as the novelty of its undersea factories and floating spaceports.
