Upon admittance to the institution, Caper's Wound Transfer ability appears to have the capability of transferring any degree of injury from one subject to himself and vice versa.
Additionally, Caper seems to passively absorb small cuts and physical ailments from nearby individuals to himself. The radius of effect seems to fluctuate between 3-5 meters. So far, this passive absorption occurs involuntarily.
Upon further study, it appears that Caper's mutation now allows him to transfer sickness and disease from one subject to himself. No evidence of transfer of disease from Caper to other subjects has been recorded thus far.
Gained Professor position at Jean Grey School, focusing on teaching teamwork and leadership to gifted young mutants. Also offering my talents as part of the medical staff to treat injuries and sickness.
Had an episode of pain release in front of several students in the sub-levels. Must exercise greater caution in between pain delay and pain release.
Began hosting a new VIP extraction simulation featuring high-levels of security. Many groups are suspected to fail due to the difficulty of the simulation. Serving as a test of mutant abilities and teamwork in high-stress situations.
Beginning study with Valerie Moore on the effects after a near death incident involving wound transfer and her augmentation power. Endless loop cycle of fatigue and healing threatened to cause serious physical drain on Ms. Moore. For precautionary measures, wearing hazmat suit to limit range of wound transfer.
Hazmat suit study has given new insight on the nature of the wound transfer ability. The membrane of the hazmat suit disrupts passive absorption of wounds and ailments from nearby subjects. Variability of wound transfer radius of effect is now being studied.

Marcus Caper exhibits an extreme, seemingly relentless impulse to help other around him. He often considers himself to have no self-worth as a human being unless he is helping improve the lives of others. This is likely attributed to Marcus' early life spent in hospitals, being cared for around the clock by teams of medical professionals. He feels an extreme sense of guilt when others go out of their ways to help him.
Further examination reveals that Marcus is extremely self-sacrificing. He will often express the urge to give up his own happiness and well-being for the sake of others, calling back to his helpful nature.
He is fiercely loyal to any who show him even an ounce of kindness. He feels that it is his duty to preserve the well-being of those he calls his allies and his friends. |
