Character Powers: Toxikinesis (Poison Manipulation)
Character Abilities:

  • Toxigenesis (Poison Generation): Ian can generate poison and release it through miasma/nerve gas emission (poison breath). This ability may activate during stress unconsciously and unwillingly (as a sort of animal defense mechanism) but will not activate when he is unconscious (knocked out) or being fully possessed (not in control of his own faculties).
  • Density Manipulation (Toxikinetic Constructs): Ian can control poison molecules to the point of solidifying his gas emissions into toxikinetic constructs, weapons. At this point, the largest weapon he can turn them into is a pair of katar (push daggers) on each hand and the smallest mimicking the properties of senbon (metal needles). He needs to be conscious to be able to do this and must concentrate to keep the solidification process; otherwise, all of it reverts to gas. He is limited to melee weapon constructs, specifically to the katar and senbon.
  • Mithridatism (Poison Immunity): Ian is immune to most poison, as long as it is biological and/or chemical in nature (this includes alcohol, meaning he can't get drunk); however, he may still get poisoned through other means (through magic, for example).

Please seperate out each ability, and go into more detail about how they'd work and how you'd RP it. Also, remember it's only 1 power which entails 3 abilities.

Hmm. I tried balancing it with limitations but I failed to see how massive it still is. D'oh! Sorry about that. I restricted him to poison breaths and lower-level melee weapon constructs. Is it any better? Thanks for your feedback. Really appreciate it. :)

How strong is your poison and does it take time to do damage or is it immediate?

It will take effect right away (as soon as his poison is inhaled or contact with his toxikinetic construct is made).

At this point in his abilities, as soon as 30 seconds, nose bleeds may occur. Depending on the will/health of the "victim," fainting may occur at most 3 minutes (his body will go into full defense mode, conserving energy to combat the effects of the poison). It will take at least 3 hours before serious effects (such as internal bleeding and damage) happen, so the lethal spread of his poison is mostly avoidable (anyone with healing powers will probably be able to counter his poison at this point in his abilities; and anyone with knowledge in biochemistry could probably create an antidote).

I am open to suggestions. xD

I just really wanted to create a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde character, with whom I can RP that kind of inner struggle. In this case, his poison power/abilities is his Mr. Hyde while his outward appearance & overall attitude (decent-looking, nauseatingly kind & positive guy) is his Dr. Jekyll.
