- CHARACTER LIMITATIONS
-
Character Limitations will start off quite strict but will open to a wider path of variety in the future. This is so it gives you a reason to get involved with activities in-character and actually work for something (those who work longer won't get better, all will get equal treatment, don't worry). - Strength Base:
- Superhuman Strength (Tank/Bruiser type character): 5 tonnes.
- Superhuman Strength (Superhuman but other apps character): 3 tonnes.
- Enhanced Strength: 1 tonne.
- Durability Base:
- Superhuman Durability (Tank/Bruiser type character): 5 tonnes.
- Superhuman Strength (Superhuman but other apps character): 3 tonnes.
- Enhanced Strength: 1 tonne.
- How combat with strength and durability will work: Just because you have a higher strength level than somebody doesn't mean you will win, nor does it mean if you have a higher durability level you will win. Durability will allow you to take more impact but it won't stop the amount of pain you take. You won't be shrugging off attacks - you will just be able to take more than somebody with a lower amount.
People who also have a lower strength level than you can easily counter you by using their strength effectively. They might also be able to hit a fist with yours, the way Hulk can hit a fist with The Abomination despite being 100x stronger. However, this does not mean that people can shrug off attacks who are lower. You will take damage. A lot more than what the stronger opponent will be.
We know combat has been dodgy in the past roleplays and hope to make it a more effective and fun system in this roleplay. Expect changes to take place if the combat is dodgy here, too.
- Speed Base:
- Superhuman Speed: (Speedster dedicated character) 100 miles per hour.
- Superhuman Speed: (Superhuman but other apps character): 50 miles per hour.
- Enhanced Speed: 25 miles per hour.
- How combat with speed will work: Speed is a major factor to support a person in battle. The main asset of speed is to use it to run fast. Those who run at 100 miles per hour are obviously faster than those with 50 miles per hour speed. However, this does not mean people cannot still attack you. They can try to calculate the path you're heading on, hope for the best and/or even have the reflexes to attack you before you attack them.
However, speed can also be utilized in many different ways. You can use the speed to land a faster array of attacks, such as fast punches into somebody else's body. This will do extra damage instead of just swinging one fist every two seconds. We know speed is never much trouble in roleplay's so this isn't a very long "tutorial" on how to roleplay it here. Speed for other characters can be developed either through activities that the school hosts or through developments. Speedster speed levels will probably only develop through developments.
- Healing Base:
- ◾Bruises & Grazes: 60 Seconds
◾Minor Cuts: 4 Minutes
◾Major Cuts/Minor Burns or Sprains: 10 Minutes
◾Major Burns or Sprains: 15-30 Minutes
◾Minor Breaks/Tissue Damage: 30-60 Minutes
◾Major Breaks/Tissue Damage: 60-120 Minutes
